Chapter 61 - a trip out of town
Wren Austin walked out of the bathroom stall wiping her mouth and with a proud smile on her face. She didn’t care that people stared at her, knowing exactly what happened a few seconds ago.
After all, it wasn’t the first time she’d had people talking about her.
“I’ll meet you out there” Giovanni O’Connell uttered when the stares had become too much for him to handle. Wren stuck out her thumb to him before turning her attention back to the packet of pringles she was inspecting earlier on.
When she was satisfied with what she had chosen, she made her way to the counter and quietly removed everything from the cart and placed it before the cashier, who stared at her with a judgmental look.
One thing Wren Austin hated was having to deal with a ‘Karen’. People who felt like they were superior to others and acted like the air around them was made especially for them.
The cashier fell under that category and Wren Austin knew in her heart of hearts that it will be impossible for her to walk out of the convenience store without having some sort of run-in with her.
“Sixty thousand” the receptionist smacked her gum as she spoke, still giving Wren a condescending look.
“I’ll be paying with my card” the blonde began to rummage through her bag for her credit card.
“Cash only” Karen uttered.
“But someone just paid with a card” Wren defended.
“And I said cash only,” she said with more attitude.
“I got it baby” Wren was about to reply with more attitude when a huge figure hovered over her and she heard Giovanni speak.
Instantly, she found herself relaxing at the sound of his voice.
For some reason unknown to Giovanni, the cashier didn’t look pleased with the fact that he had appeared out of nowhere. With an eye roll, she seized the money from the young, typed away on the computer and a few seconds later, a paper came out of the receipt printer.
Wren Austin seized the receipt from her and was about to walk out when the cashier said something sarcastic that irked Wren. Just as she was about to turn around and fire something more sarcastic, Giovanni cut her off.
“You have a nice day,” he said, putting a hand over Wren’s shoulder and forcing her to walk out.
“Why would you do that? You should have let me wreck her entire life” the blonde spat out, shrugging away Giovanni’s hand that was on her shoulder.
“Nah, don’t give her that pleasure. Her job’s already doing most of the work for you. I mean did you see how she looked? She looks miserable” Giovanni spoke casually as he opened the back door and threw in the paper bag.
“I don’t care” Wren clapped back, opening her side of the door and getting in, then she abruptly sat in and folded her arms with a pout.
A sly smile appeared on Giovanni’s face as he turned on the ignition and put the car in rear mode before driving off.
“Trust me, it wasn’t necessary,” he said.
Giovanni and Wren were on the highway for another thirty minutes or so before he pulled up the most magnificent view the blonde had ever seen.
From where she stood, she was staring at the city lights and when she looked to her side she had a view of the ocean.
It was her dream. To witness the city lights and the ocean at once.
The blonde was speechless. Speechless at the fact that this view was the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen and speechless at the fact that he’s recalled what was on her bucket list.
Hell, even n she had forgotten about it.
Over the years, she’s taken up so much responsibility. School, taking up extra shifts to generate income for her mother’s hospital bills and then working even harder to repay her debts to Hunter. Life got in the way and she’d looked at her wish list and laughed it off to be a teenage fantasy.
But he recalled what was on her list and he was making one of her biggest wishes come true. She realized then and there that it was indeed possible to love him more than she did.
With a pool of tears welling up in her eyes, Wren Austin threw herself in Giovanni’s arms, hoping that a hug could put into words how much she loved him and appreciated his gestures.
“Thank you! Thank you” she exclaimed as she placed kisses on Giovanni’s cheeks.
The young man giggled. “Anything to make you smile,” he said with a proud smile on her face.
“This view is amazing. I love it. I can’t wait to wake up to this view come morning” she remarked, taking yet another look at the scenery.
Giovanni was taking out their stuff from the car and when he did, he walked towards her and leaned in, then whispered in her ears “I can’t wait to fuck you to this scenery” and with that he disappeared into the lobby of the hotel.
Wren Austin couldn’t help the blush that crept to her cheeks, and neither could she help the way her pussy reacted to him whispering such nasty words in her ears.
She followed behind him and go to Giovanni just in time to see him taking a card from the lady who sat behind the counter.
The ride to the elevator was long and full of tension. The mirror inside allowed them to stare at each other without necessarily turning.
The only thing that ran through their mind was getting naked and slamming their bodies against each other. They longed for each other's warmth and listened to each other moans.
Which is why the moment Giovanni and Wren made it to their room, the lion crashed together and their bodies conjoined. Whilst Giovanni deepened the kiss, Wren Austin struggled to get rid of her clothing and when she did, she did the same with Giovanni’s.
The next minute they were sprawled out on the floor. Giovanni O’Connell repeated thrust into Wren Austin and it wasn't long until they orgasmed.
But it didn't end there. They transferred to the huge Scandinavian bed where the moaned and explored each others body until morning.
