Chapter 88

**Blue **

As Artemis predicted Abigail shows up with Alan. Ha, I just noticed all their names start with *A*. Maybe I should consider changing my name to something with an *A* then we could be* The A Team*. When we all load into Artemis’s car, I pull up the search engine on my phone and search Greek god names for women that start with the letter *A*. There aren’t many but I find one that isn’t so terrible.

Aella…it means whirlwind…some how that fits me rather well.

“What are you looking at?” Abigail asks before leaning closer to me to get a glimpse.

She gives me a confused expression and I shrug. “Why not change my name now that I’m married? It would make me seem more normal, wouldn’t it?”

“You are unique Blue, there is no reason to change that because you want to fit in.”

I know she’s right but now that I think about it…that name was given to me by a terrible woman. She didn’t even bother to call me by my real name and instead referred me to a color. It’s a terrible thing to do, so why would I want to keep it?

“The story behind my name is sort of awful. Maybe it would help me move on into my new life. I can let go of my past completely and start over.” The more I think it over I like the idea.

“What do you think Artemis? Should Blue change her name?” Abigail asks out loud.

There is only silence for far too long. Does he hate the idea?

“I want you to be happy Blue. If that means changing your name, then go for it. What name are you thinking?” He asks.

He doesn’t sound upset which makes me feel a burst of relief. I shouldn’t care what he thinks but I do. His opinion is important to me.
“I was thinking since you and your sisters are all named after Greek gods that maybe I should choose a name in that ballpark. Aella is one of the names on the list.”

Another period of silence.

“It’s a good name. We can announce the change when we go to the charity event in a few weeks.”

What?

“Actually, why doesn’t she set up an Instagram account and post about it there. I think it would also help with the people showing up wherever you guys go. It’s easier to stalk people online then in real life.” Abigail suggests. “I mean you’ll never escape the paparazzi, but it would lessen things.”

“What would I post on there? It’s not like my life is super exciting other than all the crazy stuff that has happened.”

“Did you take any pictures on your honeymoon?” She asks.

I did on the rare occasions that Artemis let me out of bed and a few of him in it as well but no way am I posting those.

“I have a few.”

“Post those and maybe a few of you guys together here and there. You could also take pictures today while we shop and just post stuff like that. It’s silly but people like to know what everyone is up to all the time.”

“I guess that makes sense. Do you mind me posting pictures of you Artemis?”

“As long as I preapprove them then no. I still have an image to think of.” He says firmly.

Abigail smiles and does a little clapping dance. “Perfect! Let’s set it up now.”

She grabs my phone and starts the whole process of setting my account up. I barely get a chance to smile when she takes my profile photo and when she shows it to me, I force her to pick a more appealing one in my camera roll.

“You’ll have to take more selfies as well. You can even talk about products and clothing lines you use and get sponsors.”

“This sounds complicated, and what goes into a selfie?”

“I’ll show you everything.” A couple more taps and she announces the completion of my new account. “There we go. Now let’s post some photos. Which ones would you like to share?”

I take my phone back and scroll through my photos. There are a lot of me and Artemis sitting on the deck that are nice.

“These ones are nice. Also, this one.” I show her the photos and she smiles.

“You guys look so good together.”

My face heats up a little at the compliment and I glance at the rearview mirror to see Artemis smirking. I narrow my eyes at him which only makes him smile more.

“I’ll send you a couple of pictures I took too.” He says.

“You took photos? When?”

He doesn’t answer. He just keeps on smiling like an asshole. I need to come up with some better names for him because the usual ones are starting to sound too nice. Abigail happily works on my photos, and I decide to relax a little. Artemis exhausted me earlier and now that I’m sitting, I’m feeling a little tired. I rest my head back on the seat and close my eyes for a little bit. My short nap isn’t restful and when the car stops at the store, we’re visiting I’m dying to get out of the car as fast as possible. As soon as I shut the door and no one but Artemis can see me I take a few deep breaths. He steps out and joins me a second later.

“What’s wrong?” He asks.

“Just a bad dream.” I wave him off, but he catches my hand and rests it on his chest.

“You don’t have to lie to me Blue. I’m not going to judge you. I never have, right?” He looks so sincere that it’s easy to let myself melt at his kind words, but he can switch to asshole mode at any second.

I take the moment in and enjoy it for however long it lasts. He tugs me forward and wraps his arms around me and I bury my face in his chest. A few deep breaths of his fresh scent calms me enough to push forward.

“Ready?” he asks when I step back.

“Yeah.”

He takes my hand again and holds it tight as we walk to the other side of the car where we see Alan with his arm around Abigail. They hear us and glance over their shoulders at us and begin walking toward the store with us following. I look at the giant store and feel a bit overwhelmed by how big it is. I can only imagine what it will look like inside. When we walk in, I stop and gape at it all. The level we’re on has the registers but there is a full warehouse behind them. There is also an escalator leading up to another floor. What more could be in here?

“Okay, so upstairs they have things set up in displays to give you some ideas and the numbers for each item. You take this paper and write the numbers down and when we head for check out, we grab everything.”

I guess that is convenient. She hands me the paper and a tiny pencil to write with. I follow her up the escalator and shocked again by the multitude of stuff. Like she said there are some sections that look like fully decorated rooms. The first one I look at is set up like an outdoor area with some wood-looking tiles on the floor, a grill and a table with a wall of fake leaves along the back and side of it.
“That’s pretty.” I say pointing at it.

Abigail looks it over for a second but doesn’t seem to like it. “It’s nice but a little plain. Also, your backyard is too big to make this work. It’s probably set up for small apartment backyards. Could you imagine all of those tiles?”

She cringes and moves on to the other side of the aisle to look at another display.

“Do you like it?” Artemis asks.

“Honestly, I don’t know. It’s not bad but I’m not exactly an expert on this so I’m not sure what to think.”

“We can come back to it if you end up liking it. Get anything you want.”

It’s always a little weird how Artemis doesn’t care about the price of anything. Does he really have so much money that he can literally buy anything he wants? I can’t seem to wrap my head around the idea of buying anything I can think of. I may never get used to it.

We move on and I look at several room set ups but nothing stands out to me. Then we reach the section where the children’s room displays are. They are so sweet and with all the baby talk with Artemis I can’t help but imagine our kids playing in rooms decorated like this. There are even ideas for older kids. Artemis looks at the baby room stuff and starts to write things down. I do the same but for older kids’ stuff. There are also art supplies, adorable storage and toys.

When Abigail sees us frantically writing things down, she laughs. “I guess we’re starting with the kids’ rooms.”

I smile at her and start to grab stuff.

“I’ll go grab a couple of carts.” Alan says.

“Grab four! One for each of us!” I yell to him.
We’ll need them.
