CHAPTER TEN

"Bells I don't want to repeat myself, I am asking you for the second time, what are you doing in my bed?" Logan asked with anger and irritation as he looked at Isabella with disgust. "Wow, are you really asking me that question, have you forgotten how badly you wanted me last night? You really need to stop acting like a herb Logan" Isabella walked seductively towards him and began to rub his chest with her hands. "Bells you really need to stop..." Logan was unable to finish his sentence as the door opened. "Logan why won't your guards let me..." Ava nearly fainted at the sight of the lady, she held herself and ran out immediately while Logan tried to run after her. " You are going nowhere Logan, not until you tell me what is going on here" Isabella said as she held on to him "I will advise you to put on something before I ask you out of the room right now" Logan said as he took her hands off him gently. "Logan you can not do this to me" Isabella ranted angrily as she stood up to face him while Logan stood up to wear his trousers "You are going no where Logan" Isabella said angrily pointing to his face. "Bells by the time I come back I want you gone, do you understand?" Logan said as he wore his shirt. "Or what Logan, what are you going to do if I do not, I am not going anywhere, I will be right here waiting till you get back" Isabella said as she began to dress up too. "What on earth was I suppose to do after apologising over and over again, you know what Logan, I will never let you go, I promise you that." Isabella picked her bag, walked out the door and slammed it loudly. Logan called Andrew in immediately "how on earth did Bells get on my bed and Ava get in so easily all without my consent?" Logan snapped angrily at Andrew as he poured himself a glass of water. Andrew who had his head bowed looked up quickly to plead "I am sorry sir" Andrew bowed his head lower "I demand an explanation right now and not an apology" Logan said as he poured himself another glass of water " Miss Ryan called you last night and you asked her to come over" Andrew stated quickly "I did what?" Logan asked as he smashed the glass cup on the table "You asked her to come over last night sir" Andrew repeated again. Logan picked his phone to see his call logs "Put me on a call to Ava immediately "Logan said as he sat on the bed "she is not picking her calls sir" Andrew said "Keep trying" Logan replied. "Her phone is switched off sir" Andrew said "You can leave now" Logan said as he walked towards the bathroom.
Ava walked pass her friend to her bedroom immediately "Ava is everything alright?" Andy said as she followed her "I don't want to talk about it Andy" Ava said as she packed some clothes "Now where are you going?" Andy turned Ava's face to hers "I just want to get out of here, everything here reminds me of Logan, I don't want to stay here" Ava said as she continue packing. "I thought you went to apologise, did he push you out or embarrass you?" Andy asked with so much interest "I saw another lady on Logan's bed, I was shocked, I never imagined he could move on so easily" Ava burst into hot tears immediately, she just could not hold it anymore. "I am so sorry Ava, I should have discouraged you from going to see him this morning" Andy said as she hugged her friend dearly "It is fine Andy, you only want me to be happy, I am glad I got to know the true Logan" Ava said as she continued packing her things "Don't you think he still needs to know about his baby?" Andy asked "Knowing or not knowing does not change anything Andy, I will rather raise my baby alone" Ava said as she continued packing her things with tears in her eyes and a swollen red cheek. "You are crying too much Ava, you need to calm down, I think you both need to sit and talk, it won't be fair to Logan if he later finds out the baby is his" Andy said. "I will be going somewhere for sometime, you can call me whenever something urgent happens and tell my mum nothing about this whole issue, she is pissed already about everything" Ava said as she carried the small bag she had arranged few of her clothings and other things she might need staying away from home. "Where are you going Ava?" Andy asked "I am going to a hotel for now, I will think of somewhere to go later but for now I just want to be left alone" Ava said as she pecked her friend "Ava we can talk about this please" Andy said quickly but Ava had already gone. She immediately picked up her phone and dialed Dumbbell's number "Hello Mr Williams, how are you doing?" Andy asked quickly "Miss Grant, you promised to keep in touch, I thought we had a wonderful night" Dumbbell asked jokingly. "Let's talk about that later Mr Williams, I just want to ask for a favour, I need you to give me Mr Rodriguez’s private number, it is very urgent sir" Andy asked "That's not a problem as long as you promise to meet me one more time, will you?" Dumbbell asked "I will meet with you, I need the number urgently please" Andy replied quickly "I have sent it" Dumbbell replied "Just make sure..." Andy had already hung up before he could finish his statement, she dialed Logan's number immediately "Hello, Miss Grant Andy on the line sir, am I speaking to Mr Logan Rodriguez please?" Andy asked as she made silent prayers in her heart hoping it was Logan "Yes please, how may I help you?" Logan asked "I am Ava's friend, we met at a dinner the last time with Mr Williams" Andy added quickly. "Yes I remember you, is everything alright?" “I will like to see you sir, I will not be able to discuss well on phone" Andy said quickly "No problem, I am in the office right now, would you come or I see you later" Logan said. "I will come over sir, I am closer to your company right now" Andy replied quickly and hung up . Logan called his secretary in immediately "Miss Roosevelt, I will be meeting with Miss Grant Andy today, send her in immediately she gets here." Logan said quickly and continued with his work "Okay sir" she bowed and left quickly. Logan adjusted his tie and continued to go through his files waiting patiently for Andy, after a few minutes he heard a knock "Come in" Logan said as he stood up and walked towards Andy to hug her. "Nice seeing you again, Mr Rodriguez, your company is a huge one I must confess" she said as she sat down on the chair he offered her. What would you like Miss Grant?" Logan asked "I am fine, I don't want to take too much of your time" Andy said. Logan sat right in front of her on his desk "I am not supposed to say this but I honestly don't want Ava to remain unhappy, she loves you a lot" Andy said as she looked at Logan "Your friend is carrying another man's child and you expect me to forgive her just like that?" Logan asked. "She is carrying your baby Mr Rodriguez, Ava did not have sex with Liam, it was just a misunderstanding." Andy said quickly “Ava told me everything herself, if you are here to defend her, I am sorry I don't have anything to say about that." Logan said as he bowed his head "I am telling you she is carrying your baby Mr Rodriguez, she came to your house to explain to you today and heaven knows what she saw that made her come back, I have met with Liam and he did not have sex with Ava I can assure you, you can even result to a DNA when she gives birth. "About what she saw today it was just a misunderstanding, I was not sleeping with Isabella, she got on my bed because I was drunk, I tried to explain to Ava but she did not give me a chance and how am I supposed to believe you about the baby" Logan asked with a baffled face. "You need to trust me Logan, Ava loves you, and the baby is yours that's all that matters anyway." Andy said. "She is not picking my calls too" Logan added quickly "She left to a hotel, I will let you know when I find her, I am sorry I have to go right now" Andy stood up quickly "Thanks Miss Grant, I really appreciate you, do not forget to call me please" Logan hugged Andy briefly as he opened the door for her. "No problem, I will keep you informed” Logan sat on his chair as he tried Ava's number again which was still not reachable. "I am going to be a father" Logan smiled as he murmured to himself.
