CHAPTER TWENTY - ONE

Ava felt something cold drench her body , she was blindfolded and unable to move too , " please help me " she screamed when she noticed her body was stiff " remove the blindfold " A familiar voice spoke ,it was Isabella , " Isabella what am I doing here , where is Andy ? What have you done to her you whore ? ." Isabella slapped Ava's right cheek with anger " do you think I am here to play with you , honey , For your information your friend is dead , I warned you but you failed to listen , anyway you are next .... " Ava cuts in quickly " you killed Andy ? What on earth does she have to do with you , I am the one you have issues with , why will you kill my friend ?." tears fell down Ava's cheek slowly " I see you do not like me hurting your loved ones , all I need you to do is cooperate with me , I will ask you some questions before I tell you what I want , your answers determine your survival and if you do what I want you safe your mother " Isabella said as she raised Ava's bowed head " I will not be a part of your dirty games Bell , you are shameless and a coward , just admit it already ." Ava said with tears in her eyes " beat her till she nearly faint guys ." Isabella commanded the men she had sent to do the job earlier, they flogged Ava with a wired cane , which made her cry painfully in pain " please stop ." Ava managed to speak as she could not hold the pain anymore " are you ready to play along ." Isabella raised Ava's head SSO she could see her eyes " just kill me already , I refuse to be a part of your game ." Ava replied tiredly " I need her kids dead before midnight " Isabella instructed quickly " Bell please don't involve my kids I beg you , they are still young please , I will do what you want , please take back your orders " Ava begged with tears in her eyes ,her eyes were big and swollen with bruises on her body too . " I won't take back my order till you do what I want , you lost your right to negotiation when you failed to accept the fist time , anyway let's get straight to questions ." Isabella smiled wickedly to Ava as she sat in her front " I will start with questions now , you guys once she fails to answer well , I want to hear her scream in pains ." Isabella laughed sarcastically before she began her questions " where are your kids " Ava shot her head up quickly when she heard the word 'kids' " stay away from my kids Bell and go to hell you whore ." a hot slap landed on her face , followed with flogging by the masked men on her legs and back " I can find your kids Ava , it won't take me an hour , remember you have a very small circle , it won't be difficult for me , anyway let move on to your next question ." Isabella cleared her throat quickly " will you marry Liam and go far way ? , this is not necessarily an option but a choice Ava , Liam you may come in now , she needs to see you so she knows we mean business ." Isabella instructed her guys to open the door for Liam who walked in majestically " Liam why are you doing this to me , You are a good person Liam , don't let her influence you , please Liam don't do what she wants ." Ava begged as she cried painfully bleeding almost in every part of her body " no one will find you here Ava , you don't have to answer the question too . I am taking you far away once Bell is done with you , we love each other Ava , Bell will take care of your kids here for you ." Liam raised her head carefully and dropped it back " you ruined a beauty Bell , I have a lot to do on your face when we get back Ava ." Liam whispered into her ears " finally I just need to do a recording in your voice , all you have to do is to confess killing Andy and running away , simple isn't it Ava ." Isabella asked as she got her phone ready " please let me go Isabella , I don't want to die like this ." Ava begged in tears " you have two seconds left to do what I asked for , or else you die and your kids die too , so make up your mind now ." Isabella said quietly " I will do it please , don't hurt my kids , don't kill me too . " Ava cried painfully " go ahead and do it in the best way you can , no tears Ava ." Isabella instructed and started recording " anyone listening now , I must have traveled because of my sins , don't bother to look for me , I killed Andy and left to a far away place .... " Isabella cuts in immediately " that should do , take her away Liam and you guys finish off her kids , I don't want to keep them ." Isabella instructed " you can not do this to me ." Ava jumped at Isabella immediately she was untied , one of the guys wearing a mask hit her head with a wooden stick which landed Ava on the floor " what the hell did you just do ? We did not agree to kill her ." Liam asked angrily " waste him too , I am sorry Liam , I leave no ends loose " Liam was shot on his head immediately " you guys should clean this mess up , I will send in your balance when I live here ." Isabella said as she hurried out while the masked men cleaned up the bodies .

" Andy are you okay " Mrs Miller asked Andy immediately she opened her eyes " where am I ? , where is Ava ?." Andy asked as tears fell from her eyes , the police walked in immediately " I need to inform the doctor you are awake Andy , I will be right back ." Mrs Miller stood up quickly " How are you doing Mrs Williams , we have some questions to ask you ." The officer asked " where is my friend officer ." Andy asked with worry ,as she tries to stand up . Logan and Dumbbell rushed in immediately " Andy are you alright " Dumbbell rushed to her side quickly " I don't want to see you Dumbbell , leave me alone ." Andy shouted angrily pushing him away " I am sorry but you need to step out as bit sir ." the doctor ushered Dumbbell out quietly " is everything alright Andy , what happened to Ava ." Logan asked " I woke up to drink water , so I heard the knock , I was scared so I tapped Ava but she did not wake up because we had so much to drink last night , I search for my phone to call anyone because I was no longer thinking straight but my phone was dead , so I picked Ava's phone to call anyone , Logan happened to pick , I had to hang up when the masked men forced their way in . I tried to run but I got shot in the process . I think they came for Ava's kids , that was all I knew before I passed out . I should not have encouraged drinking last night ." Andy said as tears fell down her eyes " you need to relax Andy , this is not your fault ." Logan put her back to bed quietly " so my daughter Ava was kidnapped , Andy you need to stop crying ." Mrs Miller wiped the tears that fell on her cheek quickly trying not to make Andy cry more . " Did you suspect anyone ? Or do you think Ava has been under any threat from anyone ." the officer asked " I am Ava's only friend , she does not have so much people around her , lately, Isabella came to visit her and Liam her ex fiance , she felt threatened by them from how she narrated her meetings with them , so I think they have something to do with this ."Andy held Mrs Miller's hand " you need to rest Andy , the doctor said you need to rest well ." Logan said quietly . The officer phone rang immediately ,after speaking with the caller he hung up quickly. " a dead man and unconscious lady body was found along Dince street , the ambulance will get here soon . I am sorry I have to be on my way , I will get back to you Mrs Williams ." the police hurried out with the doctor quickly " you need to rest Andy , I am sure Ava will be fine . " Logan repeated again when he saw Andy struggling to sit up . He brushed her hair off her face. " Logan , Ava is here ." Dumbbell rushed in to announce quickly . Logan and Mrs Miller rushed out quickly to see Ava .she was being carried on a stretcher , tears fell from Mrs Miller's eyes when she saw her daughter , Logan raced after the nurses trying to enter the emergency room with them " you need to wait outside sir ." a nurse instructed Logan before the door was shut . " the police have gone after the suspects , do you you think my daughter will be fine ." Mrs Miller asked in tears " she will be fine , you should get some rest , I will wait behind . " Logan phone picked his phone to see who was calling him " hello Andrew , is everything okay ." Logan asked quickly " Isabella is at the airport , I think she is travelling somewhere, what should I do sir ? ." Andrew replied quickly " Do all you can to make sure she does not leave the airport , call the police right now ." Logan dropped the call as he rubbed his forehead " is everything alright " Mrs Miller asked when she saw how harsh Logan's voice was on the call " I think Isabella suspected the police found out about her crime already , she is trying to leave the country ." Logan said quickly as he made Mrs Miller sit down " I will call my driver to take you home , you need to rest before Ava wakes up , I will wait till Ava wakes up ." Logan sat quietly beside Mrs Miller , he prayed quietly that Ava got well so he could tell her how sorry he was for letting Isabella hurt her like this . Few minutes later the doctor came out " is she okay ." Logan asked quickly " she is fine but , she needs to rest , make sure you do not wake her up for now ." the doctor replied quickly , Logan rushed into the room to see Ava ,tears dropped from his eyes uncontrollable " I am sorry Ava ." Logan murmured to himself when he saw how bruised she was ,he held her hands , pecked it and cried bitterly in silence till he slept off .
