CHAPTER TWENTY -EIGHT

" welcome , come with me , I am so glad you could make it ." Philip said as he led the three people Isabella wanted to see to a waiting room " please kindly sit while we wait , I honestly understand how hard it is for you , but I must say , I am really grateful you honoured my request ." Ava , Andy and Logan walked behind Philip to sit has he continue to speak " officer please we are here to see miss Isabella Ryan , i am her lawyer, please kindly permit us to see her briefly ." Philip said to an officer quickly " i will bring her for you , you may have your seat and sign here ." the officer went in for Isabella immediately after Philip had signed on a book , he came back with Isabella shortly after . Isabella looked different with handcuffs on her hands, she was so pitiful , she sat down opposite to her visitors and then bow her head in shame trying to avoid eye contact " Bell , I am sure this are the people you requested to see you , tell them what you have to say so they might take their leave as soon as possible , you have limited time too , so I will advise you to begin , I will take my leave now ." Philip stood up and left the room quietly " I have not invited you here to pity me neither do I want you to forgive me after all I have done but i just want you to listen to what i have to say but at least hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me , because i know how much pain I inflicted on you , I was not expecting anyone to show up , I guess you are all interested in what I have to say , I won't give excuses for my crimes but I want you all to know I am sorry." Isabella broke into tears immediately " did you just say sorry ? hun . You killed my child and all you can say is sorry , you think I am here to listen to you tell me shits , I promise you , I will make sure you rot in here , and listen I will never forgive you ." Andy stood up angrily as she bangs the table between them moving closer to drag Isabella's hair " Andy please you need to calm down , I know how you feel but please calm down till she at least say everything she wants to say ." Ava sat down Andy quietly after pulling her hands off Isabella's hair " I am fine , you can do everything you want to me , beat me all you want and say every terrible words you can say to me . I don't deserve to be alive Andy , I even made you lost your child ." Isabella cried as she tried to hold Andy's hands " don't you dare touch me murderer, you murderer , I will make sure you rot in jail , you won't know peace Bell , I can assure you ." Andy slapped Isabella's hand off hers quickly " when I was at prison the first time I was arrested , I was scared and helpless , I was sad because I realised Dumbbell and Logan will be happily married even when I met them first , the same thought I had the first time before I kidnapped Ava , so I pretended to be sick at prison and escaped after disguising at the hospital , fortunately I got the information that Andy was coming back from a trip so I sent one of the masked men to her , and Logan your accident was all planned , I just could not bear to see you happy , I thought if someone died at least I won't have to go down alone , I am sorry about your baby Andy , I .. " Andy slapped her before she could finish her statement " really ? Sorry , did you just tell me sorry , so I should accept that when I am not okay , I remember that day very day and every time I do , I am heartbroken, now you want to act like the victim ." Andy jerks Ava's hand from her when she tried to stop her from talking " she needs to suffer Ava , she needs to know how cruel she was , as long as you are still living Bell I will never forgive you ,I will make sure you ever get to leave here anymore ." Andy sat as she began to cry " so what do you want Bell ? , I believe you want something else than forgiveness? " Ava asked quickly " I just want two things , I know I am selfish , but I really have to ask no matter what. Please take good care of Angel ,and please don't take out my evil ways on Angel , she should not suffer for my sins ." Isabella bowed her head in pain " I really don't know what to say Bell ." Logan said silently as he rubbed his forehead " you think i will do something evil to Angel , she is nothing like you and deserves to be happy . Ava please I need to get out of here now before I do something bad , I am so disgusted right now , how can this murderer be related to Angel , the more i think about it , the more i get infuriated . Ava I am out of here, I will wait inside the car ." Andy picked her bag and ran out in tears . " Do you have anything else to say Bell? , I am afraid I have to leave ." Ava stood up quickly tapping Logan to do the same " I am sorry , and thanks for coming, that's all I have to say ." Bell finished as she bowed her head " Logan we should go ." Phillip walked in immediately "thank you so much for coming ." Phillip ushered them out towards the door . Throughout the journey back home Andy was calm, she even slept at some point , Logan and Ava decided to stay a bit with her so she could calm down since dumbbell wasn't home , Dumbbell had invited them for a surprise birthday party he had planned for Andy .Dumbbell had begged them not to tell Andy about it . " Ava you knew how long it took me to carry that baby , for about four and half years now and she expects me to forgive her , just like that , I will never forgive Bell , she better rot in jail or provide my child and then she had the gut to talk about Angel ." Andy threw her hand bag on the couch and sat down quietly , Logan poured himself a cup of water while Ava moves towards Andy " do you care for ." Logan asked Andy and Ava if they needed to drink water , pointing the glass cup towards them " I am good Logan ." Ava responded while Andy waved him off with her hand . " I just need you to move on Andy , I know how hard this is , I know how hurt you are Andy , but you need to let it go , Bell is where is where she need be now .'' Ava pats Andy's back gently " when I married Dumbbell , I discovered I was not conceiving ,so I went to see the doctor , he told me I had slim chances of pregnancy ,I told Dumbbell and he said we should keep trying and when I finally had a chance , Bell stole it away , now Bell is going to make me wait probably for ten years Ava , and you want me to move on , you have kids Ava , I want mine too ." Andy cried more , she picked her handkerchief from her bag to clean tears from her eyes " Andy , I believe you know how much this hurts me , but I want you to believe all hope is not lost , who knows if you might be pregnant real quick. " Ava smiled at Andy happily " I just wish I can let it go , I should not have gone to see her ,now I am starting to remember my pains , I feel sorry for Angel , she deserves better ." Andy covered her face with her hand briefly trying to stop her tears " Andy you should be smiling now , I am sure something great will happen soon , as for Angel , she has you and I know how much you love her ." Ava said quietly walking towards the opening door . The door opened and Dumbbell came in smiling happily with a cake in his right hand and gift in the left hand " happy birthday Andy , I wanted to surprise you , I told Ava and Logan not to greet you first ." Dumbbell smiled happily has he handed over the cake cake to Andy , " happy birthday Andy , Dumbbell made me swear not to tell you , I brought you a gift , I hope you like it ." Ava hugged Andy who was standing in shock . Dumbbell walked up to her and kissed her too " I honestly forgot today , oh my God Dumbbell , why didn't you remind me ,I hate the fact that I look so bad right now ." Andy said as she hugged him happily " happy birthday Andy ." Logan hugged her briefly " you guys are something, honestly , I can not believe I forgot my birthday and you guys remember , I love you Dumbbell ." Andy smiled before she kissed Dumbbell again with so much happiness " I love you guys too , i will never forget this day ." Andy turned to Dumbbell and Ava too " actually I think this is the time we cut the birthday cake , I almost thought today was another bad day , I am so happy right now ." Andy picked up the knife getting ready to cut the cake " won't you make a wish , everyone makes a wish on their birthdays ." Ava said with a smile encouraging Andy to make a wish " okay then , here I go ." Andy closed her eyes briefly as she made her wish " I am done , can I cut this now ." Andy laughed happily as she pointed at the cake " yes go ahead Andy ." Logan replied quickly while Ava brought in plates and glass cups , Dumbbell unpacked the drinks he bought on the table " so I am going to spell Andy , A-N-D-Y , here we go , happy birthday Andy ." Ava spelt Andy's name and Andy cut the cake at the mention of the last letter of her name " I feel like tearing up , you guys are going to make me cry ." Andy said quickly hugging Dumbbell" after sometime of eating and laughing , Ava decided she needed too leave the couple alone " so what should we do now , I guess I will let you two be alone for sometime , Logan and I will drop our gifts and see you another time. Thanks for inviting us Dumbbell ".Ava picked her bag quickly walking towards the door while Logan followed suit " it a pleasure , see you two later ." Dumbbell replied before Ava could shut the door.
