CHAPTER EIGHT

Logan met Isabella waiting outside his office, so he asked her in. "Have your seat Bell", Logan said as he went to sit too. "I do not want to Logan , do I look like I came here to get a tat?” Isabella asked Logan who looked not a bit interested in her discussion as he stared at her. "Really, are you going to play dumb right now? You have not been coming home anymore ,you do not pick my calls , are you avoiding me Logan ?" She bangs her left hand on his desk angrily. “That reminds me Bell, you should stop coming over to my place henceforth, I will inform my security team about the development and I am sure you do not want to embarrass yourself, I will advise you cooperate." Logan smiled wickedly to Isabella who was fuming with anger. “If you do not have anything else to say, kindly use the door,I have a lot to do", Logan said as he began to sort out some documents ."You’ve really changed Logan and that's impressive", Isabella laughed loudly as she continued."Just so you know, I do not plan to give up on you, we are meant for each other Logan and if you try dating someone else, I promise you will regret it. See you later" She waited two seconds for a reply but he did not respond, she slammed the door as she went out. Logan picked up his phone immediately to call his Secretary who came in very fast "Make sure that young lady does not come into this premises anymore, be sure to inform every concerned department about this" Logan instructed her and continued with his work. “Yes Mr Rodriguez, I would also like to remind you about your trip", Mrs Roosevelt stood waiting for his reply. "I am aware, you can go back to work" Mrs Roosevelt bowed immediately and left the office while Logan continued his work with a distracted mind, he really missed Ava and he wanted to see her again ,he picked his phone to call her. He just hoped he could trust her, she confessed her feelings to him last night, he did not want to ruin the moments by asking her questions about her nights with another man. He just wanted to enjoy as much as possible time with her as time goes. " Hello Ava, how is your day going?" Logan asked. "I went to see Andy, you remember her right?” Ava asked "Yes I do ,is everything alright?" Logan asked. "I just missed her so much and I had to see her. I miss you more though, do you want me to come over?" Ava asked. "I would not mind” Logan replied with so much happiness in his voice. "Alright, I’ll be on my way" Ava replied and hung up. Logan called his secretary immediately to inform her about Ava’s visit. Ava came twenty minutes later, she accessed herself to be sure she was not looking poorly dressed, she adjusted her lipstick and her hair , the slit of her vintage dress kind of looked too revealing. She cautioned herself to be focused as she stepped out of the elevator leading to the reception, she wished she never told Logan she wanted to come, she was directed by the receptionist to meet Logan at the next floor. “This is tiring” she thought as she went into the elevator again until she got to the said floor, where she met Mrs Roosevelt “Good day ma, how may I help you? Do you have an appointment with Mr Rodriguez?” Mrs Roosevelt asked ready to dial Logan's office line "Yes, tell him Ava Miller is here to see him” Ohhh I am sorry,you may go in" she dropped the phone immediately as she ushered Ava in. "Thank you" Mrs Roosevelt left immediately, leaving Ava and Logan. "I missed you all day Ava" Logan said as he walked towards her. He headed for her lips and kissed her against the door "You are damn sexy Ava" Logan said as he kissed her tenderly, he began to raise her dress and put off her panties quickly. “This is an office Logan" Ava managed to say, “It is fine no one will barge in" he carried her towards his desk and bent her over ready to penetrate her. " Logan stop" Ava said as she pushed him away. Are you alright Ava" Logan asked with concern. "I feel dizzy all of a sudden, can I sit down for sometime” she drags up her pants and sat down while Logan adjusted his trouser and shirt. "I am sorry I lost control Ava" Logan apologized as he handed her a glass of water . Ava wished he never apologized, she wanted to have sex with him too, she just does not want to complicate issues between them. If she allows him have sex with her, he will never forgive her if it was someone else’s pregnancy, but then she could not avoid sex with him forever, she thought. "I am travelling on a business trip tomorrow Ava, do you want to come along?" Logan asked as he stood her up and sat her on his laps. "Do I look jobless to you Mr Rodriguez?" she said jokingly. "I do not want to miss you, I just want to see you every time Ava" Logan said as he played with her boobs. "I love your dress, you did not wear what I ordered ? " Logan asked. "I do not appreciate expensive gift Logan" Ava said with a smile. "Is it my eyes or your boobs are growing bigger" Logan asked. This was why she had refused to travel with him, spending a week or two with him will make him realize she was pregnant, Logan was definitely not a dull person. "That happens to every lady Logan”. He played with her breast for a long time,sucked it and kissed her too before he went back to continue his work while Ava sat on a sofa in his office staring at him till she fell asleep. He stared at her for a long time and continued with his work. Logan woke Ava up at six in the evening, she did not know she slept that long "Why did you not wake me Logan, I feel bad for sleeping while you worked "Ava said as Logan swept her of her feet. "At least I got to see a sleeping beauty” Logan said jokingly. "Let’s go home, I am so hungry" Logan said as he dropped her, Ava circled her hand around his waist as they walked out. "Drive me home" Logan instructed Andrew. Ava tugged closer to Logan and rested her head on his chest.
Few minutes later, Logan carried her to his bed while he ordered Mrs Bridget to prepare something for dinner. When Ava woke up Logan was eating already, "I am so hungry Logan" she said as she sat beside him. Logan served her food which she ate very hungrily "So how long before I get to see you again" Ava asked as she drank water. "It is just a week Ava, do not stress it” Logan said with a smile. "Do you bring women here often?" Ava punched jokingly "You are the first lady in my penthouse but here I can not say" Logan winked at her. " Hmmm I see, let’s watch a movie Logan" Ava said as she stood up to switch on the TV. "I want you Ava" Logan said as he dragged her back . "My period came yesterday, let's do everyother thing in your head except sex Logan" Ava lied to his face as she grabbed Logan's lips.
The next morning Logan kissed Ava on her forehead before he traveled, he left a note beside the table for her. Ava woke up happily to see the note beside her.

Ava smiled as she dropped the note, she felt so hungry. She took out one of Logan's shirts from his closet and wore it as she headed out only to meet Andrew waiting outside the door. "Hello morning Miss Miller, Mr Rodriguez wants me to attend to every of your needs" Andrew greeted Ava with a bow. "Morning, I was trying to find my way to the kitchen" Ava responded quickly. "I will let Mrs Bridget know about that, you don't have to worry. I will leave now" Andrew bowed and left before she could utter anything else. This was beginning to stress her, she did not deserve this care and all, she was beginning to think of what would happen if the press finds out about her issue with Logan. She will never know peace anymore, she returned to the room to bath so she could go down for breakfast, she wondered why Logan lived in so much luxury like this , his house was more or less a hotel to her, her phone began to ring, which broke into her thought. "Hello Logan " Ava sat on the bed smiling "I miss you already, Andrew said you have not had breakfast" Logan spoke with concern. "I woke up not long ago, I will eat after a bath " Ava replied quickly and continued "I will be going home for sometime, I do not feel comfortable staying alone in this big house." Ava scanned through the room with her eyes "I will try to run up things early here, Andrew will drive you home" Logan replied. “So do you miss me?" Logan asked. “I don't think so" Ava said jokingly as she laughed “You need to stop messing around Ava" Logan said jokingly "I will call you later, make sure you have breakfast early."
