CHAPTER ELEVEN

It's been three weeks since Ava left New York to stay with her dad at Paris. She was getting used to the environment and trying not to brood about her unborn child. She folded herself on the couch with a duvet watching the TV as she fought hard not to doze off "Ava your brothers are joining us for dinner" Mr Troy Miller touched Ava's cheek as he sat beside her " that will be great, it been ages since I saw Davis and Jones" Ava said as she sat upright "and your pregnancy?" Mr Miller asked with a smile "it's fine dad, they will pass that" Ava said quietly "this will probably encourage them to settle down too, they do not seem to like the family thing" Mr miller said as he stood up and continue "I will start making dinner then" Ava stood up quickly "you still have your kitchen culture, must be nice cooking for us every time we get to meet" Ava sat with her leg crossed on the kitchen stool quietly. "Your mum never liked my cooking" Mr miller said with a smile as he chopped the vegetables. "I bet she does" Ava replied sharply. Her parents divorce was definitely one thing she will call a mystery. Her parents used to be so loving and caring and suddenly it changed overnight . "I will go get dressed dad " Ava said quickly as she ran up the stairs wishing the day could end immediately "take your time honey" Mr Miller said as he continued with the meal. About one hour later, Ava came running down the stairs happily "dad how do I look" Ava said as she smiled brightly looking at her dad's indifferent look "all I can see is a beauty" he said as he went over to Ava to hug her "I love you dad" she said quietly "I love you more" Mr Miller replied. "Your brothers are here go get the door" Mr Miller said quickly as he went ahead to start setting the table. "Ava" Davis exclaimed as he hugged his sister happily "I missed you", Ava said quietly. "I missed you more" Davis replied. "Where is Jones, don't tell me he won't make it" as Ava exclaimed "he is bringing a company and will join us soon" Davis said as he shut the door. "It nice seeing you again" Mr miller said as he hugs his son. Just then, the door bell rang again "that will be Jones
" Davis said as he sat on the dinning chair "I will get it" Ava said as she went to open the door. "Look who we have here" Ava dragged slowly "I miss you sis , everyone this is Vanessa Frank" Jones said quickly after hugging Ava. "Nice meeting you Vanessa, you can call me Ava " Ava hugged Vanessa gently "Jones talks about you a lot" Vanessa added with a smile. "Come to the table ladies, food is getting cold" Mr miller beckoned as he smiled at Ava and Vanessa. After Mr Miller said a little silent, as Ava serve everyone "is everyone okay" she asked as they all starts to eat. "Yes" they all chorused . "I proposed to Vanessa" Jones smiled as he broke the silence "Oy Vey! that's a very good news" Ava said as she smiled at Ava and Jones. "How long have you been together" Mr miller asked "two years" Vanessa replied shyly. "You two look good together" Davis commented. "I thought we were going to get married together" Jones said jokingly to Davis. "I am still more focused on business for now" Davis said smiling, "Ava what have you been up to " Davis turned to Ava. She coughs immediately not expecting that question "I am pregnant" she said boldly. "Wow, I had no idea I was going to become an uncle " Davis said quickly, "I am happy for you dear, why did you not bring him over for dinner" Jones asked. "He is sort of busy" she lied. "Okay everyone let's talk better after dinner" Ava quickly say to get away from that. After dinner Ava spoke ,laughed as she had fun with her brothers including Vanessa who had told her about meeting Jones at a pool party after he puked on her. Ava was not too happy when they had to leave. "I will see you again Vanessa" Ava said while they almost drove away "bye Ava" Vanessa said. Tears almost dropped from her eyes when she got back inside, her dad was waiting at the door "come here dear", immediately he saw Ava teary eyes, he hugged her and led her into the house. She told her dad goodnight as she closed her eyes as she said a quiet prayer wishing Logan would find her .

The next morning, Ava opened her eyes to see Andy sitting on her bed "oh my God, Andy how did you find me" Ava asked as she sat upright quickly. "Am I even a friend Ava?" Andy asked with a sad look as she continues "because I don't think you see me as one anymore". "I am very sorry Andy, I was scared and embarrassed, I disappointed everyone. I don't know how to face you anymore, I am very sorry Andy"  tears began to role spen eyes. "It's okay, come her" Andy said as he draws closer to hug her. "let's go somewhere fun for now, we will do the talking at night". Andy wiped Ava's tears as he encouraged her to get dressed. "I miss you Andy " Ava said as she struggled to get up. "Let's get going honey" Andy smiled quietly.

Logan had just gotten to his office when he heard noises outside his door , "what's going on here Mrs Roosevelt" Logan asked angrily as his eyes went straight to Isabella. "What are you doing here Bells?" he asked "you might want a private conversation Mr Rodriguez" Isabella said as she went inside the office without Logan's approval. Logan followed her inside immediately "Bell what on earth do you think you are doing",he shut the door immediately. "Honey you need to calm down, it a good news after all" Isabella said as she runs her hands on his body. "Bell whatever it is you want, I promise you, you won't get it. So leave while I am asking nicely". Logan threw her hands from his body angrily "Okay fine, I will make this snappy Logan, I am carrying your child" Isabella said quietly as she sat down. "You are joking right?" Logan asked quickly "I am pregnant Logan, you are the last man I slept with definitely it yours" Isabella said, "if you think I am going to accept someone else child so easily I am sorry to disappoint you that you are absolutely wrong and if you don't mind kindly use the door before I call the security on you". "Fine I will leave, just make sure you read the headlines of weekend paper or do you want me to spell it out for you". She stood up and continued "Billionaire Logan Rodriguez denies claim to actress Isabella William pregnancy that headline is probably too shallow. I am sure you don't want to see the worst of it, I will leave now" Isabella said as she stood up. "You will do no such thing Bell" Logan threatened "and if I do what happens? you think owning a broadcasting company does protects you from becoming a news, people will love you in the news my dear" Isabella grined wickedly. "Bell we need to talk" Logan said quickly "you know my house, don't you?" Isabella said as she walked out. "If I don't see you tomorrow I will consider the news" Isabella said with a smile "bye Honey" Isabella said as she shut the door. Logan was still in shock as he fell on his sit. For the first time he missed his mum, he took his phone and hurried out immediately. "Miss Roosevelt cancel all my appointment today I will see you tomorrow". Logan was full of thoughts inside the car that he could not hear Drake asking him a question "Mr Rodriguez we will like to know where you want to go" Drake asked the second time. "Take me to my mum's place" Logan said quickly. His mum was talking to a young man at her door when he got down from the car "look who we have here Dumbbell" Mrs Rodriguez said as she walks towards her son "I miss you honey" she hugged Logan as she continue "Dumbbell just got here too I am sure it was a coincidence" Mrs Rodriguez said with a smile. "I am so happy to see you Logan" as she happily wrapped her hands around her son. "What are you doing here Dumbbell" Logan asked immediately. Evelyn left them alone. "I had business to discuss with your mother, it nothing personal Logan" Dumbbell said quickly. "What's going on here?, are you guys alright? " Mrs Rodriguez asked as she came in. "Mum tell Dumbbell to leave right now" Logan responded quickly. "Logan you need to calm down, I thought you were friends" she said as she looked at Dumbbell. "I slept with his girlfriend" Dumbbell confessed "wow, now I see where this is coming from, but Logan you need to calm down" Mrs Rodriguez said as she touched his cheek. "You are not kids anymore, you two need to let bygone be bygone" Mrs Rodriguez said quickly "Logan does not give me a chance to apologize. No matter how I try, he just does not want to listen to me" Dumbbell explained quickly. "Seriously, if you think you are just going to end all this with an apology you must be joking" Logan said quickly. "Honey, you need to calm down I am sure Dumbbell has realized his mistake" Mrs Rodriguez said quietly as she pats his back. "Honestly I am sorry Logan, man liquor had the best of me that day, I will not blame it on alcohol anyway, I accept I was at fault" Dumbbell said quickly. "It is fine" Logan said quietly, "I will come back another time Mrs Rodriguez" Dumbbell said as he stood up. "No problem" Mrs Rodriguez hugged him before he reached for the door and went back to Logan. "You should get some sleep Logan you look pathetic". "I am fine mum, I need to talk to you about something later" Logan said as he stood up quickly. "Are you going somewhere?" Mrs Rodriguez asked with worry. "I will stay here for a while if you do not mind" Logan said quietly. "Yes my son, you know I always want you here" Mrs Rodriguez said quickly as she gazed at her Logan climbing up the stairs.
