CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

" Logan ." Ava touched Logan's head which he placed on her right hand " Logan wake up , I am awake ." she tapped him , Logan rubbed his eyes and looked up at Ava with surprise " oh my God ,Ava you are awake , I thought I was going to lost you ." Logan stood up from his seat and hugged her " I missed you Logan , I am sorry for hurting you ,I should have listened to you , I was just so worried about myself , I tried calling you many times , but I just don't know what to say ,forgive me Logan ,I love you and I am hoping you give me another chance ." Ava held Logan's face with her two hands ready to listen to him " after you left , it was hard for me to move on , I thought I could hold unto Bell , but I could not especially when I found out her child was not mine , I was pissed at you , despite that I tried calling you , I sent texts countless times , I even went to your parents , I am happy you are back now , I am never letting you off my sight again." Ava kissed him quickly with so much joy radiating in her , she missed him so much , she has been wanting to do this so much that she forgot she was in the hospital . The door opened and they drifted apart quickly , it was her mum and the doctor " Ava , I am so happy you are awake ." Mrs miller said happily as she ran to hug Ava " how are you feeling , the police have some questions to ask you . " the doctor examined her briefly and wrote something down in her case file " I am fine doctor , you can ask them in ." Ava replied as she held Logan's hand tightly " mum where are my kids , are they alright ?, I miss them so much ? Logan needs to meet them too . " Ava sat up holding Logan's hand " They are with my mum , I needed closure with them , so your mum agreed to let them stay with me . Emmanuella talks a lot Ava , Emmanuel reminds me so much of myself , I am so proud to be the father of those wonderful kids , they miss you Ava , especially Emmanuel ." Logan said as he smiled at her " Emmanuella hardly talks to me at all , I am surprised you said she talks a lot , I am glad you love them , Emmanuella never seem to like me , I doubt she misses me a bit ." Ava smiled as she joked . The police walked in " how are you doing miss Ava , we are sorry about the incident , we sincerely apologise for not been there when you needed us , we wish you a fast recovery . " the female officer smile cutely at Ava " it is no ones fault , I am happy to be alive , thank you so much ." Ava smiled back at her " we have some questions to ask you if you don't mind ." the officer asks quickly " go ahead , I am good ." Ava sat comfortably still holding on to Logan " we have arrested miss Isabella Ryan , we just want to know if she was truly your abductor , there is currently no evidence but only your testimony can clear issues , so was miss Isabella Ryan your abductor ." the officer asked with a straight face " she planned it all with Liam , but she killed him after , after I fell to the ground , I heard her tell one of the masked man to shoot him too , she made me do a recording , to tell everyone I killed Andy and that , I left the country , when I refused she made them beat me so hard and threatened to kill my kids , I was so scared . I am sure her phone has this evidence of the recording . " tears fell down her face when she remembered how her legs suffered from beatings " I will make sure we look into that , we are very sorry to disturb you miss Ava , we will get back to you after the whole investigation . " the officer bowed and walked out quickly " how is Andy mom ? , is she alright ?. " Ava asked as she laid down on the bed " she is resting , the doctor said she was two months pregnant , I am sure she was not aware , poor Andy, I will leave you two , I need to check up on Andy ." Mrs miller replied silently as she walked out " you need to rest Ava , the doctor said you need it and I think you really do ." Logan adjusted her pillow , placed her heads properly on it " there is so much going on in my head right now Logan , I want to f**k you here but I am just not strong enough , I want to really do a lot right now , I never knew a day like this will happen ." Ava rubbed his hand playfully " are you always this blunt miss Ava because I love it , once you leave here , I am going to make sure the only reason you come back here is to deliver babies ." Logan tied up her hair properly " where did you learn to do that . " Ava asked with surprise " Emmanuella has been my tutor , she tells me everything I don't know about kids ." Logan laughed happily " I am surprise , she hardly talks to me ." Ava said with a smile " is Dumbbell here , he should talk to Andy ,She need not be alone now ." Ava said as dragged Logan closer for a kiss " we are not doing this here Ava , you are barely okay ." Logan said as he drift away " but I want to Logan , I am fine , I just need to heal quickly or do you want me to force you ? ,you don't want to make a patient shout , do you? ." Ava responded jokingly as she dragged Logan closer again and kissed him " I missed this ." Logan whispered to her ears " what did you say , I did not hear you." Ava laughed loudly than she ever did before " I said I wanted more , you heard me didn't you ." Logan rubbed her hands and kissed her again .

" Andy please give him a chance to talk to you , he has been waiting out there since you were hospitalized , I am sure he has something to say to you , please just give him a minute at least ." Mr Miller begged on behalf of Dumbbell having seen him pace around the hospital " he hurt me mum , Dumbbell lied to me , he did this to us , I can not even look at him right now , I feel so much pain in my heart , I could not believe ..... " Andy burst into tears immediately " I really don't want to see him , I wish I was not pregnant with his child , as much as I wanted my own baby I so much wished it did not happen ." Andy cried painfully when she saw him outside the glass door waiting outside " look at him Andy ,I am sure he I sorry and disappointed in himself , men have their ups and downs , they really like to bite from every pie , Ava's dad cheated on me more than once too , I forgave him every time , in fact I got use to it , I only stopped because he never apologized nor did he feel sorry about it , so here is Dumbbell trying to make amends , I am sure he wants another chance , please hear him out honey ." Mrs miller wiped Andy's tears with a handkerchief " I am sorry about that , Ava never talked about it ." Andy said politely " because I never told her about it , I avoid the issue , I don't want her to judge her dad over something not worth judging , so keep our little secret Andy ." Mrs Miller replied quickly " can you please ask him in ." Andy requested politely " yes sure , I will see you later ." Mrs Miller stood up and walked out immediately , Andy saw how she whispered something to Dumbbell , Andy smiled briefly before Dumbbell could see her " I heard you have something to tell me , I don't have time so make it brief ." Andy sat up quickly as he folded her hands on her chest " Andy I am sorry I cheated on you , the other day I came back from work , I wanted to tell you when I got back , you said we could talk till the next morning , when I woke up , you did not give me a chance either . I am sorry I cheated on you , I should have told you the truth about my child , but I wanted you to have your own child first before I did , I love you Andy , I don't want to lose you , I should not have let Bell blackmailed me into having sex ,I am sorry Andy, please give me another chance to love you , I promise I will never hurt you again ." Dumbbell held her hand quietly " is there anything else you have been hiding from me . " Ava asked with a serious face " nothing except that I really love you Andy , It only you and I want you to know that ." Dumbbell sat closer to Andy waiting for her response " i have a secret too , the doctor said I was two weeks pregnant ." Andy said as she smiled happily " oh my God , are you kidding me , this is a great news ." Dumbbell hugged her quickly " finally we are going to have a baby ." Dumbbell said happily " can I keep Angel too , I guess Bell will be in jail for a long time ." Andy traced her fingers along his hair " I will do everything you want Andy , we should get out of here as soon as possible ,I need to celebrate this good news ." Dumbbell said with so much joy " I can not wait to see Ava and break the news to her , she will be so happy for me , Logan must be with her right now ." Andy smiled broadly opening her arms for Dumbbell to hug her " she is fine , I have not seen her since she woke up , I wanted to see you first , she will just need a wheel chair for sometimes just like you do ." Dumbbell smiled as he realised himself from the hug " doctor said I was lucky to survive , I would have been amputated , I can not wait to see Ava when we both walk on the wheelchairs ." Andy laughed loudly and Dumbbell joined her laughing too " you look so happy right now , I wish this moment was forever ." Dumbbell said as he smiled at Andy " I am with the love of my life and I am about to become a mother , I am more than happy right now , what if I get to have twins too Dumbbell? that was a joke ." Andy burst into laughter again " let have more twins after this set comes ." Dumbbell held her left hand and pecked it " let go see Ava , can you put me in my ride ." Andy stretched her two hands to Dumbbell so he could carry her on the wheelchair " yes Mrs Williams , I will do just that ." he smiled and carried her carefully on the chair as the walked to Ava's room , Ava was surprised to see Andy " you got a free ride too , I thought I was the only one ." Ava said playfully as she pointed at Andy's wheelchair " I missed you Andy , I am going to be a mother ." Andy held Ava's hand quickly as they both burst into laughter " we are here ladies ." Dumbbell interrupted " congrats Dumbbell , I am happy for you and Andy ." Logan shakes Dumbbell happily " we need to get out of here as soon as possible , so I can start buying my baby stuffs ,do you think I am too fast Ava ." Andy laughed at her joke happily " we need to get out of wheelchairs first Andy ." the two women burst into laughter while the two men watched on with admiration.
