CHAPTER THIRTY

Ava sat quietly watching her mum and dad talk beside the Christmas tree , she wondered what they must be saying , she still wasn't sure why those two divorced but she was sure they loved each other , she was amazed by how much things have changed in her life ,everyone in this room matters so much to her . She looked from Dumbbell who was kissing Andy on the neck regardless of who might be staring at him and she knew those two were going to have more babies soon , then she turned around to see her brothers laughing happily , she was not expecting them at the party since they could not make it last year , she smiled as they drank happily laughing , Ava moved closer to Logan's mum who sat silently beside the bonfire , " Merry Christmas Mrs Rodriguez , anyway I still want to know your secret to long life , I am your great fan mother ." Ava sat quietly beside her " I was looking for you , I thought about you just now , I need to go to bed , can you walk me while I share you my secret ." Mrs Rodriguez requested humbly as she tries to get up " it's my pleasure ma'am ." Ava helped her up slowly as she entwined their hands together " I am not sure Logan told you I am not his birth mother , I am sure he did not , I was barren before I started working for the Rodriguez , I started with hardship at a very young age , I told myself I needed to survive , after Logan's mum passed away , I was left with Logan , it was difficult at first but later it became a reason for my happiness , I never imagined Logan will turn out so well like this , I was always so scared I would not meet up like his mother , but my love for Logan kept me going , so Ava I will say I have lived this long because of happiness ." Ava tucked Mrs Rodriguez in her bed carefully " I am sure Logan's mum will be so proud of you , I am so happy he has someone like you , he turned out well than a child with both parents , this or rare to achieve Mrs Rodriguez , I will let you rest well while I take the kids to bed , goodnight ." Ava switched off the light and walked out quietly , she walked down the stairs to see her kids and Andy's kids playing happily with some some other kids of the visitors they had invited . Emmaunuella was so cheerful now unlike before , in fact she led the other kids to play with sand and water . Ava turned to stare at Logan for a long time , he was chatting and drinking happily with his friends noisily . Ava walked up to Andy who was now alone " merry Christmas , where have you been Ava ? , have been looking everywhere for you ." Andy poured Ava a cup of wine as Ava sat beside her " I don't want to get drunk Andy , I want to remember this day forever , I won't forgive myself if I drink tonight. " Ava pushed the cup away quickly " so you just want to stare at everyone till daybreak Ava ? ." Andy asked as she crossed her legs drinking " I just want to be happy Andy , I want to live long for a long time too especially with my loved ones ." Ava responded quickly with a smile " you still have not told me something Ava ." Andy asked with a smile " what ." Ava asked with interest " how did you forgive Isabella so easily despite all she did , I was angry back then at you because I felt you were not supporting me , you looked so relaxed back then ." Andy sips her drink slowly " I just felt bad back then remembering the fact that she met Logan before I did , I felt bad for her , and when I heard her plead for forgiveness ,all my anger left me Andy ,I thought we all needed a chance Andy , she is doing well now , I spoke to her lawyer . that's all gone now let's talk about the future , let talk about us ." Ava responded quickly as she continue " so what should we talk about ." Ava asked to distract Andy from the previous discussion . Andy winked at someone behind Ava's back which made Ava turn around " what are you ladies talking about , I think its time you put the kids to bed Ava , so we can go to bed .'' Logan kissed Ava's neck from behind as he tried to touch her cleavage " Logan you are drunk , I should probably get you to bed first , Andy I will see you tomorrow . " Andy I need to borrow your friend , did you miss me Ava , I tried looking for you I did not see you ." Logan asked as he swept Ava off her feet " yes you can Logan , Dumbbell is here anyway." Andy replied quickly before they left her sight " Logan I need to take the kids to bed first , put me down for a minute please , oh my God ! You are so drunk Logan , please put me down ." Ava pleaded with a cute angrily as she fought him to put her down " just after you put them in bed Ava and mind you I am not drunk ." Logan followed her swiftly as she walked up to the kids " we are sleeping over Andy , Dumbbell is too drunk to drive , and its too late already. I hope you don't mind ?. " Andy shouted as she and dumbbell walked up the stairs " you are always welcome Andy ." Ava replied happily as she walked the kids to their room .

" Ava did I drink last night , I think I had so much to drink ." Logan snuggled closer to Ava smiling " I remember you told me you weren't drunk last night , but I am afraid after last night we might have another child to cater for ." Ava teased Logan jokingly " oh my God , did I rape you ? I must have drank so much . " Logan asked quickly " I remember you were all over me before I even got into the room , we almost made out in front of Andy , Logan we almost had sex in the elevator ." Ava laughed loudly as she pushed Logan's chest " I am sorry Ava , I don't think I get tired of you , I am never drinking again , forgive me Ava ." Logan pecked her neck quickly " I am happy Logan , I am so happy , I want to be happy forever no matter what happens to us , I love you Logan , I love how we have sex too ." Ava kissed him back happily . the doorbell rang which made Ava redraw from the kiss " I will be right back , that's probably Drake ." Ava stood up quickly as she wore one of Logan's shirt " I am coming please ." Andy shouted as she hurried towards the door "morning Andy , I will open it , it probably Drake ." Ava said quickly " I need to see him too , I have something to deliver to a client, probably he can help me send one of the guards ." they both walk to the door together quickly . Ava opened the door and right before them was the last person they ever imagined to see standing beside Drake " Bellllllll ." Ava and Andy chorused at once in shock .
