CHAPTER TWENTY - FIVE

Dumbbell was shaking beside the policeman when his phone rang " hello who is this ." Dumbbell asked with a trembling voice , he excused himself from the police quickly " I have you wife with me , I just need you to cooperate with me Dumbbell , I am sure you don't want to involve the police and lose your wife ." Isabella laughed sarcastically " please Bell don't hurt Andy , I will do everything it takes , I am begging you please ." Dumbbell begged Isabella in a gentle tone " I do not have time to joke around Dumbbell , I won't let you play me again , you think I was really going to go down alone like that , you must be kidding me, remember you made me like this ." Isabella laughed again as she pace round the room she was " Bell please give me a chance to explain things to you ,please let sort this out amicably , Andy has nothing to do with this whole issue , this is just between us I beg you , just tell me anything you want I will do it , name your price Bell , please I am begging you ." Dumbbell said as he was beginning to raise his voice " you want to pay me off , seriously, you think I am doing all this for stupid money ? be smart Dumbbell , be smart , I am trying to ruin your life and you think money will make me restrain , anyway I am yet to hurt your wife , Ava can tell you how well I go off balance when I don't get what I want , so Mr Williams you better cooperate so we can safe your lovely wife right here . I am sure you know what that means ...." Dumbbell cuts her off quickly " just tell me what you want already Bell , please ." Dumbbell begged again " okay fine , I want just a simple thing , what I wanted the last time and did not get , I already thought i ended Logan , all I have left to end is his kids , so Dumbbell do we have a deal ?. " Dumbbell phone almost fell from his hand when he heard what Isabella wanted " you want Logan's kids ?. we both know how tight Logan's security works , please Bell , tell me something else I can do , something that does not involve kidnapping ." Dumbbell asked quickly " I am sure you must have heard that Logan is at the hospital , I am little bit disappointed he did not die , I killed the driver immediately when I heard Logan was still alive, to show you how sad I was with the news , anyway here are two options for you .All I want you to do is to tell the police that you were the driver from earlier today that you tried to kill Logan , you have forty eight hours Dumbbell , do not mess with me or your wife dies ." tears fell from Dumbbell's eyes when he heard Andy cry at the background of the call " please stop hurting her ,how do I get to see Andy after I do what you want ." Dumbbell asked quickly " not so fast Dumbbell , you only get to see Andy after the court proceeding , or when Logan dies . so how fast depends on you Dumbbell , I am sure you want to hear Andy's opinion ." Isabella placed the phone beside Andy's ear " Dumbbell , don't do what she wants , you don't have to do anything please ." Andy begged quickly before Isabella took back the phone " I am sorry Andy , I promise to get you out of there as soon as possible ." Dumbbell replied quickly thinking he was still talking to Andy " sorry lover boy , this is Bell , mind you , your time starts now , so much time for something so simple honey , take your time , I will be waiting for your call and if you don't call back before your time elapses I will believe you signed your wife's death , bye ." Isabella hung up quickly " is everything alright Mr Williams ?." an officer walked up to him when he saw Dumbbell 's worried face " I am alright ,I will be back soon , I need to be somewhere ." Dumbbell said as he walked towards his car in a hurry . Dumbbell called Ava on his way to the hospital " hello Ava , how is Logan doing , I will join you soon ." Dumbbell said as he grunt in pain , he knew he should not hurt Logan but that seem like the best choice to him " have you found Andy , you don't have to worry about Logan , he is fine ." Ava said innocently " I am outside already , hang up your call , I will see you soon ." Ava hanged up quickly as she helped Logan adjust his pillow " who is that ? Do I know him .? " Logan asked with so much curiosity " he is your best friend , he has a child with Isabella but he is happily married to Andy , you really don't remember a thing Logan ." Dumbbell came in immediately , he walked towards Logan quietly " how are you doing Ava , Loan I am sorry a about your incident ." Dumbbell said quietly before he sat on a stool " how did you find out about Logan , I did not call you because I wanted you to worry about Andy for now , Logan has amnesia , don't mind his silence , he was trying to come see you when he heard about Andy ." Ava stood up quickly " I found out through the police , I am sure we will find Andy less than forty eight hours ." Dumbbell responded quickly having lied he found out about Logan through the police, . " can you stay a bit with Logan , I need to ask the doctor about his dosage , it almost time he use it ." Ava said quickly as she ran out to look for the doctor " did we date different Isabella ? , I also want to tell you thank you for coming ." Logan said quietly " yes we dated a different Isabella , you should rest now Logan , I will tell you everything you need to know when you leave here ." Dumbbell adjusted Logan's pillow for him quickly " thank you so much , I was starting to think i had no friend ." Logan said jokingly as he closed his eyes . Dumbbell picked a knife from Logan's plate and moved towards him , he made attempts many times but he could not bring himself to do it " thank you Dumbbell ,I am really glad you are still here ." A said as she walked back in . The knife in Logan's hand fell noisily on the floor " are you okay Dumbbell , you need to give yourself rest please , I am sure we will find Andy . " is everything alright Dumbbell , I mean is there something I should know ? ." the knife fell from his hand in fear " Ava I need to talk to you , someone is watching every move we take here , we need to be carefully , I won't talk much so listen carefully ." he drags a seat so she could sit comfortably " Isabella truly has Andy , she called me today , she gave me options to abduct your kids , kill Logan or report to the police I was the driver who hi Logan , I don't know what to do Ava , please tell me what to do , I am so confused ." Dumbbell cried painfully " so you came here to kill Logan , you could not have thought that way Dumbbell , Logan is like this because of Andy." She lowered her voice when she saw Logan move his body " she threatened to kill Andy in the next 48 hours if I don't do one of the options , I don't want Andy to die please ." Dumbbell wept quietly " okay fine Dumbbell , you need to stop crying , I think Bell might have people around watching , so I need you to stop making it obvious you are talking to me and no more tears , we will find Andy , thank you for not hurting my kids and Logan." Ava stood up to hug him quickly as she pats his back " everything will be fine , we just need to think of something within the hours we have left , Bell can be very tricky , she might stab you in the back even after you do what she wants ." Ava sat back quietly " nothing is coming to my head ." Dumbbell rubbed his head briefly " okay call call the officers , that you have some information , we can confide with the police , we inform them about your conversation with Bell , they can help us think of something , the police are smart people Dumbbell , we need to trust them at this crucial moment ." she held Dumbbell's hand trying to comfort him . Dumbbell picked his phone to call the police immediately , after about five minutes two officers came in " we received your call Mr Dumbbell , is everything alright " I know who kidnapped my wife , she called me earlier today , after she wanted me to do things I could not do ." Dumbbell narrated his discussion with Isabella to the officer quickly " thank you for the information, we have been able to get her location , we will move in after we leave here , for now Mrs Rodriguez make sure you look after Logan attentively and Mr Dumbbell make sure you don't listen to miss Ryan , we will find your wife , we will get going , see you later ." the officer said quickly and went out immediately. Dumbbell called Isabella number immediately " hello Bell , I just wanted to know if Andy is doing okay ." Dumbbell asked with worry " will you have me deal with her before you complete what I asked you to do , I really can not go down alone , I hope you did not involve the police once I sense the police around me , your wife goes down too ." Isabella burst into laughter immediately " Bell please let Andy go , I have decided to give in to the police ." Dumbbell reply quickly " don't lie to me scrap , you think you can lie to me , I know you are with Ava right now , don't try to give me any shit right now , I wm watching you , anyway keep up to your time ." Isabella switched off the phone quickly before Dumbbell could say anything else . He stood up and punch the wall , " oh my God , Dumbbell you need to calm down ." Ava stood up quickly to hold him " Ava I could not protect Andy , I am so hurt right now , I will never forgive myself if anything happen to Andy ." Dumbbell said quickly " you need to trust the police Dumbbell , you need to give yourself a break ." Ava pats his back gently " let's see what the police can do till tomorrow , if they don't have anything laid out , I have something in mind we can do ." Ava sat down quietly.
