CHAPTER NINE

Two weeks have passed since Logan traveled yet it seemed like years to Ava. At a point, he had encouraged her to come over which she declined, Logan had kept to his promise of calling everyday. Ava woke up very early with morning sickness and slept back, she was upset with the knock that woke her up from her sleep, she knew it was not Logan as he had already told her he was coming in another week. Andy will be at work at this hour of the day, she thought and her mum, that she could not say. She stood up quietly in her lacy nightie, wore her flipflop and hurried out to see who was knocking "Good morning Mr Raymond, you did not tell me you were coming , is everything alright" Ava said with a disgusted look. “This is almost nightfall Miss Miller, don't tell me you have been sleeping all day." Mr Raymond said as he made his way inside without waiting for her to invite him in. Ava looked up at the time, she did not realize she had slept for so long. “Mr Raymond I will appreciate it if you leave right now, coming to see me at this time of the day is really not appropriate." Ava closed the door and faced Raymond immediately “You need to calm down Ava, you do not pick my calls, I needed to be sure you are fine" Raymond said as he sat down on a sofa. “ I am dead ass Raymond, you need to leave right now, as you can see I am fine" Ava stood akimbo as she fumed with anger “Okay fine, I will leave now." Raymond said as he stood up while Ava opened the door wide for him to leave. After Raymond left she was about to sit when she heard a knock again, she swore as she stood up, thinking it was Raymond again but to her surprise, Logan was standing at the door looking so handsome. "Logan " she managed to say as she hugged him immediately with tears in her eyes “I missed you Logan" Ava said. Logan carried her in after closing the door "I missed you more" he said as he placed her on his laps after sitting comfortably on the sofa. Logan began to kiss Ava who gave in without restraint as she missed him so much , Ava reached for his shirt while he took off Ava's nightie hastily, "Logan I need to talk to you" Ava tried to stop Logan as he struggled with his belt “We can talk later Ava" Logan said as he laid flat on the sofa "Logan I can not, I can not do this please " Ava said as she pushed him away with all the strength left in her. “Why will you not let me touch you Ava, every time I try to touch you, it is usually this attitude" Logan said angrily as he began to adjust his trouser. “ Logan I am pregnant" Ava said quietly as she bowed her head in her hands “Did you just say pregnant Ava, are you are still sleeping around with your so called boyfriend ?" Logan laughed with surprise as he began to button his shirt “Why would you say something like that" Ava said looking straight at Logan “A day after our first night together, you slept with Liam Brown. I have every information about that night Ava" Logan said angrily. “Logan I can explain, this has nothing to do with my love for you" she said as she cried bitterly. “You expect me to believe that after trying to make me responsible for someone else child, Ava,you know what, I do not want to see you again" Logan said as he walked out of the door leaving Ava in tears. He was furious with her, he thought he could trust her not knowing she was still sleeping with Liam, he had done a background check on Liam after he found out about Liam and her. Logan asked Andrew to drive him home after drinking so much at a bar, he went straight to bed with no energy left in him.
Ava slept off on the cold floor of her living room, Andy knocked for hours without response, she tried to open the door only to find out Ava left it unlocked from the inside. She ran inside quickly to see Ava lying on the floor. “Ava wake up" Andy tapped Ava gently " Morning Andy, how did you come in?" Ava asked as she yawned and sat up "How are you comfortable sleeping on a hard and cold floor Ava, have you been thinking?" Andy asked with concern "I told Logan about the baby" Ava said almost in tears, "I came here to let you know I met with Liam ..." Ava cuts in before Andy could finish " you did what?" Ava asked again in disbelief. "I said I met with Liam, I told him you are carrying his baby and fortunately he denied having anything to do with you "Andy said quickly. "Are you saying he denied having sex with me?" Ava asked again "Yes Ava, he said he could not disrespect you like that since you kept calling another man's name while with him." Andy sat on the floor beside Ava quickly "But he left a note thanking me for last night, I thought it was probably sex plus I was naked" Ava stated. "From the look of things I think he just appreciated you for coming to see him and he said you puked on him, so he probably had to remove your clothes and clean you up." Andy concluded as she rubbed her friend back "Now that I think about it, I still had my pants on and I slept alone that night. At a point I even woke up to drink water, there was definitely no one with me that night , but I can not be so sure Liam is telling the truth , i should meet him myself." Ava bent her head quietly "You need to go to Logan right now and explain things to him" Andy said as she turned Ava's face to herself. "I will go change into something else immediately" Ava stood up quickly with so little hope and joy , now she can have her man back, she picked the first dress she saw and ran back out. "Ava you are not wearing that miserable dress, you look miserable already" Andy said as she snatched the cloth from Ava. "I will pick a dress for you " Andy said as she walks towards Ava's room. "You can wear this, it definitely is better" Andy handed Ava a blue body_con dress with a plaid blazers quickly and picked a shoe for Ava. "Anything is fine Andy, I just hope I just hope i do not regret doing this , call Taylor to come pick me up" Ava said as she dressed up in haste, she made her hair into a dough immediately. Andy spoke to Taylor for sometime and hung up "he will be here very soon". Andy smiled at Ava as she wore the left leg of her shoe in so much hurry "You need to calm down Ava. "I will see you later Andy" Ava said as she pecks her friend briefly before running out "I will be waiting" Andy said with a quick smile waving .
