68- The Date

Third Person

-Next Morning-

Waking up the next morning had been a complete and utter change for Isabella. Having been allowed to have breakfast with not only her mother, Angelica but with Sophia as well, an odd feeling yet satisfying as well. Lucus and the others each telling her that they had last minute details to address before their “Date” that afternoon, a feeling that left her both excited yet anxious for in the process.

While Enzo and Marco both appeared to be happy that each of their Bosses had finally shown an interest in a woman of their caliber, the other guards were only thoroughly confused by their latest discovery but knew better than to say anything unless you had wanted a bullet through your skull.

So here they were, with an hour and a half left to spare before their lunch date, did each of them decide on heading back to their individual rooms to begin getting ready, using that time to freshen up. Lucus giving strict orders to Enzo, Marco and Dominic to not disturb them for anything at all unless it was absolutely necessary for today was all about them and Isabella.

Meanwhile, back with Isabella, Isabella was currently back within the same lounge room as before, both Sophia and her mother currently present as they simply just talked. Isabella updating Sophia about what had been said during yesterday’s breakfast only for them to eventually shift their wonderful chatter into a friendly game of Gin Rummy or otherwise known as Whiskey Poker.

A habit that Isabella had soon come to find out as both Sophia and her mother, Angelica had both seemed to have a huge gambling addiction and while Isabella was sure that her father always overlooked her mothers strange addictions, they definitely didn’t go unnoticed by her there.

Yet shocked by the hefty price tag, Isabella can only imagine the kind of money that they both might be yielding to be able to throw down 200 dollars a hand. Money in which Isabella was no stranger too with being born the daughter of a once successful business man and of course small Mafia leader.

Although while, this friendly little game of Whiskey Poker continued on for about another hour or so, it was soon time for Isabella to begin getting ready for her date with the guys. Having asked both of the other women if they would like to accompany her back towards her room for this would be her very first date in the 25 years of being alive in this world and she currently needed all the help she could get to look the part.

With smiles gracing their lips do both slowly agree to help. “My baby is all grown up now” coo’s Angelica, her daughter blushing as they slowly approach her room.

“Mom… Stop it… You’ll embarrass me” laughs Isabella, only to pause when she sees four beautiful yet colorful wrapped boxes upon her bed. Her eyes now curious as to what was buried deep inside each box. Each of them decorated with a different color bow as well.

“Huh?” murmurs Isabella, her legs now carrying her over towards the bed while Sophia and Angelica both move to take a seat in one of the chairs that sat next to the side of her bed, their eyes just as curious as hers.

“Looks like someone might have helped you out their sweetheart” smiles Sophia, a knowing look on her face as she moves to watch Isabella carefully.

Suddenly nervous, Isabella moved to reach for the much larger box first. The box looking to be some kind of garment box as it sat neatly wrapped in a deep navy blue bow. A card carefully attached to the ribbon in Lucus’s handwriting.

Smiling again, does Isabella move to open the box. A beautiful A-line straight short satin dress with dainty straps in the color Ivory now laid before her. The dress flaring out just past the hips but stopping just short of the knee making it more of a mid-thigh than anything. A blush trying to make its way to her face at the imagine within her mind.

Shaking her thoughts away, Isabella moves to reach for the second box, the package a little smaller than the garment box which makes her instantly think of shoes. The box also wrapped in a deep forest green bow, as well as another hand written card, only this time from Tony. With excitement barely contained does she move to open up the box. Her hands moving to retrieve beautiful black heel pointed toe shoes with elegant pearl chains to wrap around her ankles.

“Beautiful” murmurs Isabella, shocked that both Lucus and Tony had given her such beautiful gifts.

Fighting back tears that threaten to fall does Isabella move onto the next box, the third box being even smaller than the first or second as it carefully sat wrapped within a deep red bow. Curious, Isabella moves to see what’s inside that box, her eyes landing on another hand written card but this time from Grant.

Biting her lip does she move to lift up the lid only to gasp, bright blue boxes sat neatly tucked away with the famous Tiffany and Co seal on top of each box her eyes darting to each one as she carefully moved to see what was inside each of them, her eyes taking in a beautiful diamond pendant necklace along with a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet as well as a pair of diamond earrings and a diamond cocktail ring.

Now feeling overwhelmed by the gifts, Isabella moved to look slowly at the last and final box, the last box even smaller than the previous three as it sat neatly tucked away beneath a deep purple bow. The last and final card being that from Alex.

Attempting to steady her shaky hands, Isabella moves to open the last and final box, only to see a beautiful Gabriela Hearst Callas Printed Leather Clutch bag. Her eyes finally taking in every piece of item from each of the boxes. Sophia and Angelica both moving to join her by the bed as they two move to see what was inside each of the boxes, Sophia smiling as she does.

Pride now blooming deep within her chest for while the dress, shoes and purse may have only cost only a few thousand dollars at most it wasn’t until your eyes landed on the Tiffany and Co jewelry that you instantly knew where the money was spent for between the necklace, bracelet, earrings and cocktail ring the total on that was a whopping 92,000 dollars in just diamonds alone as Tiffany was not a cheap store to shop at nor was she about to sit there and tell Isabella that the guys had just spent about 100,000 dollars on her gifts. Not wanting to give the poor girl a heart attack if she did.

Clearing her throat does Sophia move to lay a gentle hand upon her shoulder, Sophia finally speaking up as she did. “Come dear, let us help get you ready for your date, the boys will be here soon.”

Feeling butterflies now dancing within the pit of her stomach does Isabella nod, Sophia now helping her into her beautiful new dress while her mother worked on her heels and jewelry. Once those were on, did Sophia move to style her hair. Pinning her hair up just slightly with some added curls while Angelica worked her magic on the makeup until both were finally finished.

“There… Just like a Princess” whispers Sophia only to hear a knock at the door. Startled, Isabella moves to open her door only to lock eyes on her four devilishly handsome men that were supposed to be her fiances. Each of them dressed in black fancy suits minus their tie. The top two buttons open on each of them as they each move to show off their perfectly toned, perfectly sculpted chests. A blush making its way along her cheeks as she now stood before them, unsure of what to do until Lucus managed to speak up.

“Wow… Your..Your beautiful. No, your fucking gorgeous Agapi Mou (My Love).”

Blushing redder, Isabella moves to approach them slowly, her eyes now looking to that of Lucus and Alex, both of them now standing with their arms outstretched for her to take, in which she carefully accepts.

“You.. You each look devilishly handsome as well” whispers Isabella, smiles now gracing each of their faces as they slowly move to lead her down the hallway and to where their very first date would take place that afternoon.
