26.

Angelo sat in the chair furthest away from his uncles and parents as they were having a heated argument over the news of the hunter being Rosaline's father. He tuned them out and thought of reasons as to why after all this time he was looking for her and how did he find out that she was mated to a wolf. The wolf prince to be exact, no one knew of Caiden finding his mate only his family and sentinels. Could it be we have a traitor in our midst Angelo thought turning to look out the window, don't they know what loyalty means? It's the one thing that his father and grandfather have stressed on was being loyal to your people and they would in return do the same for you. That didn't seem to follow as what happened with his mother was probably happening with his brother.

Someone wants to stop their bloodline.

Angelo thought hard of potential enemies, that's if they had any, no one came to mind as he scoffed to think how stupid it was to believe his brother has enemies. Caiden was the kindest and compassionate one of them all. He was always the one willing to help them in any situation they found themselves in. Even when his little brother was being irrational at the moment, he sighed and rubbed his face in frustration and left the room unnoticed.

Making his way to see Rosaline he felt guilty of allowing his uncles to reveal to her the truth of who her father was. The man was freaking hysterical in the prison, ranting of how the wolves were the devil's brood and will be taking his daughter away after killing every last one of them. Micah and Angelo were interrogating him while Michael stood afar and observed their approach to the hunter. When he mentioned Rosaline and Caiden all three were on alert their wolves wanted to rip the man apart but knew deep down the little princess would want to meet her father.

He stood before her door trying his best to calm his wolf, 'Caiden isn't here for her. We need to show her that she's one of us now. She's our sister now' Angelo said to his wolf.

'I know this, Angelo but that piece of shit doesn't deserve to call her his daughter,' He snapped at his human. They both were on edge at the moment they all were, everyone awaited to know the outcome of Rosaline's decision. Would she go to the father who abandoned her all those years ago or stay by her mate's side? Does she even love their prince? Releasing a heavy sigh he gently opened the door to her room and immediately looked to the bed. She was still asleep with the help of a ventilator the pack doctor brought up. He gave to her as a precaution depending on how she woke up after the news but overall she was fine.

Eva was sitting on a chair beside her asleep as she stayed by her charge's side all night and day not wanting to leave her side. She felt guilty of not being by her side when the news of her father was told, even though she was busy with training and learning the ways of a protector she still thought her presence should always be with Rosa.

Angelo sat beside her and took her hand in his. "I'm sorry, princess. I didn't know it would affect you so bad" he said softly. He took in how pale her skin was and made sure her breathing was at a normal rate before he kissed her cheek. "I'll get Caiden back. I won't allow you to suffer as I did" he said in her ear before silently leaving her room.

His next stop was his brother's, the guards stood tall and proud outside their prince's room vigilant of any threat that may come to him. They stood at ease as they saw Prince Angelo approaching them, "Good evening your majesty. Princess Rebecca is visiting at the moment" one said as they both kept their head bowed.

"Thank you" he replied under his breath and rushed in the room. The room was dark apart from the blazing fire in the fireplace and soft light beside Caiden's bed. Rebecca was seated on the bed holding her elder brother's hand as silent tears rolled down her cheek.

"Why is my beautiful sister crying? Cay is right here" Angelo said kissing her head.

"Are we cursed? Why is it that every bad thing happening to you and Cay. I found my mate and nothing threatened us. What happened to you...." Rebecca started to say but stopped when she saw how tense her brother got, he withdrew himself from her and went towards the fire.

The memories of what happened those few years ago were still fresh in her mind every day from seeing how sad Angelo was on a daily. No one should go through that at such a young age.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to," she said quietly as she approached him; he sat in front of the fire staring at it blankly.

"I never thanked you and Caiden for being there for me. For keeping it away from our parents and hiding it from everyone in the kingdom." He told her smiling sadly.

"You would do the same for any of us. That's what family is for" she returned sitting on the floor beside him resting her head on his knee.

*Five Years Ago*

"Dad again tell me why we are going to this... What did you call it again?" Angelo asked his father as they made their way to the royal detail that consisted of four blacked-out Lincoln navigator.

"Monthly Review, angel" Emma said brushing away a loose lock from her seventeen-year-old son's face. Caiden then nineteen watched in amusement as their mother fussed over his little brother.

"Mama please not in front of the guards" Angelo grumbling while lightly brushing away her hands. He wasn't truly embarrassed about her motherly ways but he had to act as any bratty teenager. The kids always like it when their parents fuss over them it was somewhat comforting to know the most powerful and feared King and Queen of the werewolf kind were normal loving parents also. Emma huffed and turned away from him, "Fine not my fault you got your father's wild hair." She called over her shoulder while slipping in the car. Michael rolled his eyes and smiled lovingly at his mate as she disappeared in the car.

"Also I want you boys to get a hang of this. Cay would be taking over soon and Angelo you also need to know the role as Alpha." Michael said gesturing for him to get in his car. He shrugged it off and went in to join his brother, "You don't have to meet with the pack's alpha only dad and I, you can be on your own till I call you back" Caiden said focusing on his phone.

"Thanks, bro," Angelo said taking off his crown. Caiden shook his head at his brother's actions knowing that he didn't want anyone to treat him any differently.

After an hour's drive, they made their way to the territory of a secluded pack which was large in size and strong Silver Moon pack. Angelo's wolf perked up as they made it past the gates, he was antsy which made Angelo a bit uneasy.

'Calm down dude.' He snapped at his wolf.

'Just get out of this damn car and get moving' he returned in irritation.

His parents introduced him to the alpha and luna of the pack, their son who was the same age seventeen watched them closely with assessing eyes before a girl slightly identical to him pushed him away and came bounding to both him and Caiden. "Hi I'm Leila the alpha's daughter," she said standing too close to them, her voice was too shrill to Angelo's ears that he winced in slight pain.

'Is she on helium? Goddammit,' he said to his brother.

'I bet you can hear her miles away' Caiden replied smiling politely to the girl.

"I'm Prince Caiden and this is my brother Prince Angelo, a pleasure to meet you both," he said out loud shaking their hands. As the princes greeted the alpha's children their mother subtly looked for any sign that her daughter was one of their mates but was disappointed when no such thing happened. "Have your sons found their mates yet?" she coolly asked the queen. Emma looked across to her sons and smiled like the luckiest woman in the world. "No, they haven't. I don't even think they are focused on that at the moment" she replied as Caiden and Angelo left the brother and sister to go play soccer with the younger pups.

"Shouldn't they? Especially prince Caiden, after all, he is going to be king soon?" the luna remarked in disapproval. Emma bristled at the woman's tone pertaining to her sons. "One cannot force their life on their kids. I won't push them to find their mates because of a position, it would be natural as possible." She replied calmly before turning towards Michael. He heard the conversation and shook his head subtly before kissing his mate's temple. "Boys," he called out. His sons stopped and smiled sheepishly at their parents as they were somewhat caught arguing with a nine-year-old as to who scored the last goal.

'We will be in a meeting for the next hour or so. You can roam about if you please. No use of your gifts.' Michael told them through their link.

'Yes dad,' they both answered and turned back to their argument.

"What a sore loser. I scored the winning goal ain't my fault you couldn't make a pass" the boisterous pup yelled at Caiden.

"Oh says the guy who wasn't good at defending his side when I took the ball," Caiden said calm but was highly amused at the little runt.

Angelo was trying hard to hold back his laughter as the kid stormed off mumbling about big kids and lack of skills. 'Mate is near,' his wolf suddenly said to him.

'What? Where?' Angelo asked him sniffing the air. His body tensed as the most intoxicating scent reached his senses – a mixture of strawberry and lilies.

'I sensed her a few moments ago. She's really near. Follow her scent' he excitedly told his human. "Cay I'm going to take a quick look around," Angelo said distractedly before making his way past the packhouse and a couple of family houses. The excitement surged through his body as the scent got stronger at a gym. Inside it was overbearing as he started into a jog to the doors of an indoor basketball court. The sounds of running feet and dunking of the ball were nearly deafening but comforting, easily he opened the door to be hit by the intoxicating scent and beauty of his mate. She wasn't dressed in the skimpy clothes normally worn by the girls who threw themselves to himself and his brother nor does it looked like she was worried about getting down and dirty.

The petite blonde was dressed in a sports bra and matching basketball shorts, her long hair was in a ponytail with strands coming out of its hold short bangs were matted against her forehead with sweat as she dribbled down the court the third time he was standing at the door.

Angelo was literally dumbstruck at her flawless beauty, unconsciously he began to walk towards her itching to brush away those loose strands from her face, his wolf was going wild as they both watched her body moved so gracefully as she jumped to make a slam dunk. She heard his footsteps against the court as she completed her fake championship slam dunk.

"Uh. Hi," she called out watching him intently. That was the moment Angelo for once in his seventeen years of life was tongue-tied as her deep blue eyes held his green. His heart seemed to soar as a slight smile formed on her lovely small pink lips.

"H-Hi. H-How are you?" he stuttered. His mate giggled at his nervousness but failed miserably to hide it by covering her mouth.

He released an exasperated sigh turning his eye upwards as he tried to get a hold of his nervousness plus trying very hard not to kiss her with all the pent up love he had to give.

'Wait. Doesn't she recognize us?' he asked his wolf.

'Her wolf hasn't surfaced yet but her feelings towards us should be very strong' his wolf responded taking in his fill of their beautiful mate.

"I'm fine, Prince Angelo and what do I owe this visit, your majesty," she said while giving a fake curtsy. Angelo couldn't help but laugh at her silliness and wasn't offended by her mockery. "You know who I am but I don't know who you are," he stated smiling at her. He heard how fast her heart began to race as he stepped a bit closer to be enveloped in her scent. "It's Elise. You still haven't answered my question" she breathed out.

He ignored her but decided to be lost in her beauty, "How old are you, my angel?" he asked brushing away the blonde strand away from her cheek.

"I'll be sixteen in two weeks" she answered.

"Good." He said under his breath before he crashed his lips onto her beckoning ones, reveling in its softness and strawberry taste. Elise was in shock that their kingdom's youngest prince was kissing her, her body melted into his hold as she surrendered into her guilty pleasure. Can this feel any more right? His kisses were filled with so much passion and want that it set her body on fire. His tongue sought entrance and she hesitantly complied, her fingers went on their own accord and found their way in those black locks every girl swoon over, she was in bliss as his lips matched hers perfectly.

Angelo pulled her body closer to his, his wolf growled in satisfaction as they heard her moan, without asking permission he lifted her on to his hips as he trailed his kisses lightly across her jaw down to her neck where she would soon wear his mark. Where everyone would know that she was his, their princess.

"Your majesty... " she breathed out which led to lengthy moan as his fingers brushed her bareback.

"Its Angelo, my love. Say it. Say my name. I want to hear it from your sweet lips" he said softly, his breath brushed against her neck causing shivers running down her spine.

"Angelo," she said biting gently on his ear, she never knew she can be so bold with a stranger much more the prince of their kind. His kiss, his touch, the strong overwhelming attraction she had for him; her mind was reeling with all of that information and played them against what she learned from her parents and school it was what the handsome green-eyed prince said next had her heart beating ten times faster.

"You're mine as I am yours" he whispered into her ear, Elise gasped at his revelation, quickly she scrambled off him and looked at him wide eye taking in his toned body.

"Your mate? I-I am your mate" she squeaked.

Angelo smiled lovingly at her, wanting to kiss her again and again, and again, he wanted her to come back to the palace with him but he knew he couldn't until her wolf has surfaced. If he's in close proximity with her before her birthday he won't be able to hold back on claiming her so many things can happen to her good and bad if he did without her wolf's permission.

"Yes you are" he answered pulling her back into his arms.

"Wow. I thought my mate would be another omega or warrior but a prince" she said into his chest. The thought of any other male having her didn't settle well with him, a low growl escaped his lips "Mine," he said lowly. Elise laughed at his possessiveness "Yes my prince, yours" she said staring into his emerald green eyes. They stayed in a comfortable silence gently touching each other memorizing each other's face, no words were needed they had the rest of their lives to learn stuff about each other. They both decided not to tell anyone till her birthday it would be hard to be away from each other but it would be worth it in the end. When it was time to leave, Angelo gave his mate one last kiss, it was filled with so much love and gentleness that it brought tears to Elise's eyes. "Till then my love," he said against her lips.

"I don't want you to leave" she whimpered clutching on to his jacket.

"Neither do I but I will be back to take you home on your birthday. Back for my beautiful princess." Elise looked at this man who was known as one of the most powerful wolves show all his emotions that can be considered weak to her, his mate, she was truly a lucky girl to have him as hers.

After two weeks of constant calls, text, and video chats the day finally came for the two young wolves to meet again. Angelo told his brother about Elise who promised not to let their parents know until she's back at the castle, he wanted to surprise them, he knew the whole family would love her.

"Would it hurt?" Elise asked her mate an hour before her shift.

"I won't lie to you baby but it does but your wolf takes away most of the pain. She will guide you along. I wish I was there with you" he said wistfully.

"In a few hours, you will. For my party. I kind of already packed my bags to go back with you" the last part was said quietly with a hint of shyness.

Angelo laughed out by her silliness, "Well aren't we excited" he teased. Elise blushed on the other end looking at her netbook wallpaper, it was a snapshot of her and Angelo during a Skype call, his smile that showed his dimples was just for her.

"I am. I can't wait to be with you Angelo" she confided him with tears in her eyes. He felt her sadness and wished he was really there. "Soon Just a few more hours." He said comfortingly.

Caiden drove a nervous Angelo to Silver Moon Pack clutching a small blue gift bag as he muttered to himself. "Nervous?" he asked his kid brother, Caiden was proud that Angelo found his mate he changed over the two weeks, shown interest in college and maybe continuing their father's business.

"What if her wolf doesn't like my wolf. Elder Liselle said it can happen remember?" he rambled as they passed the gate of the pack. "Yes I remember but that won't happen to you. Trust me" Caiden said to him as they pulled up outside a simple two-story home with music blasting from inside. Angelo was by the front door before Caiden himself can walk up the stairs, he didn't even have to knock before it was flung open to reveal a beaming Elise. Angelo's wolf was alert as he sensed his mate's wolf, they both sense her approval of them and that was the green light for him to claim his mate's pink lips. She moaned in ecstasy as his tongue trailed her bottom lip, nothing else mattered around them only each other, the passion and love were evident within that kiss and evident to anyone who was witnessing the scene on the front step. Someone cleared their throat behind them, Angelo growled at their intruder and held Elise closer to him. The person gasped as he looked behind his mate. "Your majesty. Welcome. My daughter didn't mention that you were coming. I didn't know she knew you per....." the person started to say before taking in the scene.

Elise's mother squealed and took them into a bear hug. "Welcome to the family," she said pinching his cheeks.

After introductions were made to everyone who was shell shocked that both Caiden and Angelo were at Elise's birthday party, Elise took him out in her back yard for some alone time after all the questions as to why Angelo was here and the shock expressions when they revealed they were mates.

"Happy Birthday love," Angelo said against her lips before he stole a kiss giving her the gift.

Opening it she revealed a white gold necklace with a diamond crusted A and E in a heart as a pendant.

"You're my world, Elise. I promise to love you for the rest of my life. Make you happy. Put your needs before my own" he said to her with all the honesty from his heart while putting on her gift.

"I know you will Angelo" she returned kissing him showing him how much he meant to her.

Their time alone and moment of love were interrupted with the warning alarm all packs has. Elise's body stiffens as she heard the alarm, Angelo protective instincts came into play as he carried her inside the house.

His brother rushed to his side. "Rogues are at the border, they have taken down the patrol guards and heading in. We need to help." He said in his alpha tone.

Angelo nodded and looked to his mate, "You need to go to the safe house, okay baby? I'll come get you when its all over then we would go home. I-I love you, Elise." He said to her kissing her gently.

"You promise?" she asked fear evident in her eyes.

"Won't let my baby down" he said reassuringly. She nodded and reluctantly followed the she-wolves and pups to the safe house.

The young princes didn't need to ask where the rogues were they followed the sounds of painful howls and defensive growls. They seemed to be attacking in some sort of formation, one group was attacking the warriors while another were spreading themselves around the territory. Caiden didn't waste any time as he stepped forward halting any rogue that was about to attack the pack wolves by thinking it. Angelo sent the few that were headed to the safe house back across the border. The loud cracks of bones were heard as they fell to the ground. "Fall back now" Caiden ordered as Angelo came to his side. The pack wolves stood in awe as Caiden pushed back the wolves he frozen in mid-step away from the pack.

"NOW" they both shouted as another group came out more feral than the others for this they shifted into their large dark wolves. The pack wolves immediately submitted as the princes snarled viciously at the rogues who stopped as they felt the power overwhelming them when the black wolves stealthily made towards them. Few tucked their tails between their legs and ran while the others pounced forward ready to attack not caring who they were. Angelo didn't hold back as he tore into the first wolf who dared attack a royal.

The brothers had to agree the rogues were brave enough to come against them but it was an easy fight for they were well trained to fight.

Sending another wolf to a bloody grave Angelo felt a sharp pain to his heart causing him to falter, not wanting his wolf to be distracted he shifted back to human form mid-fight and immediately pushing away the rogue. The pain came again causing him to fall to his knees, it felt as if someone was cutting his heart into pieces slowly, he couldn't move a muscle what he could move were his lips as he screams in pain. Caiden was by his brother's side trying to find out what was wrong.

'Mate. Get to our mate' Angelo's wolf whimpered while urging his human to allow him a free reign.

Angelo agreed immediately and shifted back, his wolf struggled with the pain as he ran in search of his mate. What he found brought his world crashing down, the scent of blood was overpowering when he took the path to the safe houses but he brushed it off as the dead rogues but not what he saw in front of him young she-wolves and pups were bloody messes as their loved ones cried over their bodies.

The warriors that they sent back were able to get rid of the rogues that created this tragedy, he whimpered as he walked through the dead searching for the one person he wanted. Angelo and his wolf tried to discern her scent from the others but got frustrated that they couldn't find her, he shifted into his human form and began calling out to her.

"Elise!!!" he shouted looking around tears running down his face. His wolf was whimpering in pain. His steps were getting weaker as the pain got stronger in the path he took.

A low whimper reached his ears that sent his heart racing, Angelo didn't know how but he ran to the sound, he found it but it wasn't what he expected. Elise's mother was on the ground holding a honey brown wolf close to her as she cried into its neck. "He's here baby. Just hold on please" she cried.

"Baby?" Angelo croaked. His voice was filled in pain as he made that last step to his mate. His beautiful princess.

"My Elise" he cried falling to his knees clutching onto her bloody paw.

"They wanted to see you one last time" her mother cried as she watched as the pain and heartache shown in the young prince's eyes.

"No. No. Baby, you can't leave yet. Remember your promise that we both would be going home and you would be my princess forever and I would be your prince charming. Elise, please hold on. Caiden can help. He's coming." He cried harder.

The brown wolf's eyes were glazed with sadness as she looked at her mate, she knew that they won't survive to run side by side with him nor travel the world together as they planned. She knew she won't be alive to proudly wear his mark as his one and only.

Elise shifted back into her human form, Angelo quickly pulled her into his arms and pressing his warm lips against hers, even though her response was weak he still felt the love she wanted to show.

"I was telling the truth when I said that I love you. I don't give a shit that it has been two weeks just know that I do love you. Forever." He said against her lips.

Elise smiled weakly and focused on his green eyes fear and love was what she saw, "My Angelo... I love you" was all she was able to get out.

"Yours. Only Yours. I promise." He cried as he buried his face in her neck taking in her scent.

Caiden finally made an appearance beside his brother, he quickly knelt beside Elise and bit into his wrist making sure his blood was flowing. "Baby sis you need to drink. Come on open up" Caiden said pressing his wrist against her lips. Her eyes were closed, her face held a serene look as Caiden pushed her to drink his blood, her lips were moving but were barely opening.

"Elise? Sweetheart?" her mother called out. "Baby, Cay can help you, please drink his blood" Angelo pleaded, forcing her mouth to open, her eyes slowly opened to look at Angelo once last time she was using her last strength to do as he asked but it was too late.

Angelo, Caiden, and her mother watched as the light in her eyes faded away, immediately the pain of his mate's death attacked the prince hard.

He held her tightly against his chest and let out all his pain, his screams were deafening, his telekinetic power were getting unstable and unpredictable as he let out all his pain and anger because of losing the one person that was destined for him. Without warning, Angelo pushed away his brother and Elise's mother a few feet away and created a shield around them, he didn't want anyone near her.

"Wake up" he pleaded with her rocking her body to and fro. "Elise stop playing baby. You're scaring me. Come on wake up. I know Caiden's blood is in you. Just WAKE UP!" He looked down at her pale face hoping to see a teasing smile on her lips but they were none. He softly trailed kisses down her jawline while keeping her in his arms. "I should have taken you home when I found you. I should have given into you. I was so stupid. " The tears flowed harder down his cheeks, his sobs were uncontrollable as he buried his face into her hair. No one made a move to take away Elise's body from the prince. He wasn't letting anyone in not even Caiden.

Angelo took a chance and looked out from his shield and saw the pitiful faces on everyone's face looking in on him. This is what his life would look like from now on everyone pitying him because of her death.

He lifted his shield and looked at his brother who simply brought a thick blanket and a pair of shorts for him. Elise's mother came after and he reluctantly gave her over, he looked at the chain around her neck and took it. "Forever my Elise" he whispered kissing her cold lips before standing up and aimlessly walking away.

*********

Caiden and Micah sat outside the door of their little brother's room hearing his painful screams as he dreamed of her again. It has been a month since his mate's death. A month of covering up her death from anyone outside the pack, Angelo wanted his privacy and hated the fact of being pitied. Even his parents didn't know what their son was going through. The boys were currently at one of their holiday homes helping Angelo through his grief.

"I- I can't stand to hear him hurt as this" Micah said solemnly. The crashing and breaking of furniture were heard in the room next then loud sobs with her name coming out repeatedly between them. Rebecca made her way up to them after being woken up with her elder brother's screams, it was too much to ignore. She curled up in Caiden's lap while he held her tightly, silent tears rolling down their faces as they listened to Angelo blaming himself for her death.

The room got quiet which got them on high alert, fear took over them as they thought of the worst, thinking that he did something bad. They rushed in looking around the room for their brother; torn curtains, broken tables and windows, clothes thrown all over the ground it was an utter mess.

"I couldn't reach her again. Why couldn't I reach her?" a rough voice asked in the corner.

No one answered. "Every night she was in reach. All I had to do was grab her by her hand, to save her." The voice said again. "Angie..." Rebecca started then stopped. Not knowing what to say.

They all stayed quiet, not knowing what to tell him. "I need to see her," He said firmly.

"What? You want to go back home now?" Caiden asked.

"No. I want you to show me her." He said again this time walking out of the shadows. Before them was no longer the strapping, playful Angelo they once knew now, here stood in front of them was a lean, sullen-looking prince. His eyes were dull and lifeless on the verge of being cold as he watched them intently.

"Bro. I don't think that's a good idea" Caiden said cautiously.

"I don't care what you think. I need to see my Elise," he growled taking a threatening step forward. "Its okay Cay we can do this. He needs closure just one last time with her," Rebecca said trying to avoid her brothers fighting again. Caiden looked at her still unsure in allowing Angelo to dwell in a made-up world.

"Do it, Cay," Micah said agreeing with Rebecca. He sighed and nodded an 'okay' to his brother.

"Ready?" He asked of his little sister as she focused on Angelo. "Yes"

Caiden sent images of Elise hours before her death, the way she smiled at Angelo, touched him lovingly even watching him adoringly, even her laugh which he knew his brother loved the most.

After getting enough memories of Elise, Rebecca created the best illusion she thought that can help Angelo.

Angelo stood, watching as his destroyed room turned in the garden back at the castle, he was sitting on the bench looking around waiting for her, it didn't take long for him to see her running towards him with her blonde hair flowing behind her, her smile was just as lovely he remembered.

"Love" he breathed out as she came and sat next to him. She looked up at him with love evident in her eyes. "I miss you so much."

"I dreamed of that night again, I'm sorry I couldn't save you. If you're mad that I didn't I would understand" Elise touched his cheek but it was light as a feather. "Remember what you told me in my last dream, 'Be the man you know me to be' How can I do that when you made me that man even for that short time?" The conversation was one-sided but it was helping Angelo.

"I can never be that man but I can try. For you. Just know that I am still yours and will always be yours... Even in death. No one can ever replace you. You will always be my mate. My princess" his voice broke as he said those last words. Elise stood and kissed his head and slowly began to walk away.

"No one. Do you hear me? NO ONE" he shouted after her before he gave into the tears. The illusion faded away but Angelo didn't care.

No one said a word all they did were showed their support for him. After an hour of silence, Angelo broke it by saying the last words they would ever hear him say. "Let's go home."

His eyes were cold as he looked at them, his decision of solitude may be drastic but it was something he chose. Being alone would help him find himself once again, learn of the world around him and also be closer to her. He was living for her.

"You must fight for her Cay. Don't let this darkness take you away from her. She's worth it. Our mates are always worth it," Angelo said to his brother before he left the room.
