I sat beside Emma watching her sleep, her dreams of us calmed herself and her wolf a lot. I know she didn't mean to share her dreams with me but I appreciated it. It reminded me of what I was trying so hard to achieve - to create a great future for us.
Working alongside Landon, Damian, and Dimitri has been very beneficial to me. I learned of leadership and responsibility, everything to be a great king for my future.
Brushing back a brown curl from her tearstained cheek I smiled at the fact that she's my future. She's my everything. If I had to give up the position I now claim to give her life I would surely do it within a heartbeat. All that I put in place is for her.
"Hi" I heard her say. Her soft alluring voice tickled my senses, completely calming my worries.
Following her to the bathroom, I sat on the counter and waited for her to finish in the shower, it was nothing sexual that came to mind, I was appreciating the body of my mate, memorizing her walk, her little routine before the shower, the little songs she sang also. She amazes me every day. "Let's get you dressed then breakfast," I said to her as she came out from the shower.
Giving me a shy smile, she tiptoed and gave me a kiss, quickly I responded letting her set the pace. It was a gentle kiss, a kiss that stirred my heart, all her emotions were in that one kiss.
'I love you' she said to me softly. I stood there dumbfounded after the end of the kiss, lost in her eyes I brushed my thumb over her lips then to my mark, her body shuddered with pleasure, easily I enveloped her in my arms.

Watching her get dressed, my wolf became worried and a bit antsy.
'What's wrong?' I asked him pulling Emma to stand in front of me.
'Care for mate now. Keep her away from here. Send her to prince Caleb along with her brothers. something is coming,' He instructed me.
Feeling her fingers running through my hair, Zane and I got aroused instantly. I placed kisses along her waist then her stomach. As I inhaled her scent, it was slightly different just like last night but I paid it no attention. Zane was giddy in excitement, I ignored him and focused on the delectable petite body of my lovely she-wolf. 'You both are now the most powerful wolves. The goddess has spoken to me she gave you and your mate undeniable power to protect her children. Malcolm has rendered the help of the dark god. Emma and Caleb are not to be touched by him.' He said.
"The Dark God?!" I heard Emma said out loud.
"You heard him?" I asked.
"Yes. Caleb's wolf also. I guess how he's Alia's brother and you're my mate I can speak and hear them in my human form and wolf" she said.
I laughed, "My powerful mate," I said kissing her cheek.
We got dressed and decided to tell the others. Emma called out to Caleb in which she told me he was alright and would join us in Landon's war room.
"For him to get help from the Dark God he must be desperate. Doing so would make him as strong as when he was to claim the throne years ago. His powers would also be multiplied but all this would stay in his hold with a sacrifice." Landon said after I relayed to him what my wolf informed us.
"Emma and Caleb," Arabella said answering everyone's question they haven't spoken out loud.
My wolf was in turmoil his need to protect Emma was strong.
"Michael," I heard her shout before her arms went around my waist. "What is it baby," I said taking in her scent which was tangled with a hint of smoke?
I looked around and saw Damian and Avery opening the windows as Jonah and Noah were putting out a small fire on the sides of the bookshelf.
"I'm sorry. I had no intention of hurting any of you" I said holding Emma closer.
"We know this, son. Its okay" my father said.
"Your powers are stronger now so watch your emotions. With the slightest thought and less effort, your gift would take over. Same for you baby girl." Landon said going over to his map of the grounds.
"Ari please take the ladies to the northern wing and stay there your guards are already stationed at all exits" he continued his body was tense. Before she left, Arabella went to her mate who held her not wanting to let her go.
'Your Majesties. Rogues have been sighted' I heard one of our warriors said.
A growl was heard from Landon, my wolf was ready to shift in defense.
"My father is here" was all Caleb said.
