Sanctity (Hybrid Coven)



"We must get rid of them now. Those bastards got my beta."

Bryan was in the worst mood ever, a little bit of satisfaction was felt when he heard on the report that two of the sentinels were dead but what he wanted was a massacre. "Really? Do you really care about that mix-breed being among those idiots? Or is it the fact that the prince is fucking the little half-ling you want back under your thumb?" Mendez watched carefully as his words worked up the hybrid's anger. To Alpha Mendez working with the hybrids would make it too easy to cop out when things get tough, their hatred for the royals went far back since Malcolm maybe even before that banished prince.

"Watch it, Mendez. Just remember where you at," he said sizing up to the alpha who simply raised his eyebrows to the filth before him.

"I know exactly where I am. I am now presently located at the once feared now washed up devious hybrids' so-called hideout who came running for help from a purebred wolf who can kill them in a snap of his fingers" Mendez said with a non-faltering smirk. Samuel and Bryan clenched their fists in anger for the truth was out, he was right without him they wouldn't have the manpower to search for Amelia nor execute their attack earlier. All they had to do was get Alpha Starkov stateside and that part was completed.

"Ah!!! Holding onto that anger I see. So proud of you two."

"We got them on the run now is the time to attack," Bryan said ignoring the jab the cocky alpha threw at them.

"I see the sense of revenge is clouding your thinking. Have you forgot who we are going after not some stupid humans. These are the fucking Royals, protection, and safety of the next bloodline to the throne is top priority......" Mendez began before he was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"What is it?" Samuel shouted in annoyance and began to pace the plush carpeted floor of his office.

In waltzed Mendez' beta, Dane who looked at the brothers in disdain. 'Report' the alpha said to his best friend over their link.

'The young princess was seen with them at the park. It seems that they are planning to leave according to the special envoy we saw leaving the hotel.' the beta reported.

'Did you keep track of the direction they used?'

'Yes, alpha. I have their current location now' Dane said with a smirk on his face.

Mendez turned to the hybrids, "Now will be the time to take notes as to how to get revenge in the most delightful way." he said before leaving the tacky office of Bryan.

"I hate that wolf," Bryan muttered under his breath as the door closed behind Dane.

"The same wolf who is getting Amelia back in your hold? Why do you want her anyway? You can have any bitch you want in a snap of a finger but you want a stupid wolf girl." Samuel growled into Bryan's ear. His little brother tensed up as he heard the underlying anger in his voice.

Bryan knew it was time to fess up, after all, they are going after Amelia and Nikolai who are tied to the most powerful royals of their time. It's suicide but its worth trying getting her back under his thumb. To Bryan, Amelia complimented him greatly; she was beautiful, submissive and now with the world knowing her as Alpha Nikolai's daughter it would open up a lot of different paths in getting back the top spot in the underworld. It was all of that including the shocking fact that came to him since the day he found her gone.

"I just want her, nothing more."







Royal Convoy



The cabin of the van they rode in was filled with silence, Angelo held the hand of his mate tightly. He felt her sadness and fear, all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms and cry along with her but he couldn't. He wanted to be strong for her. As a royal, he has to show his strength in any situation even the current one where he had to send away his mate for her safety.

They were all riding in separate unmarked vehicles in different directions towards the airstrip, Jonah returned to the house to meet his mate who looked strong on the outside but was breaking inside.
This was all new to Danielle being protected in such an extreme way and being loved my this strong wolf. All that was great but leaving him isn't what she wanted. Danielle begged her mate to come with her; Jonah wanted this so much but his fear took over, he couldn't lose her. She would be safe at home. "You will love it back at the castle," Jonah said with a forced smile on his face. Danielle simply nodded and looked out the window trying to make out the scenery as it rushed by. "My little sister will be so happy to meet you and my nephew Caiden. They are the reason why I was able to find you," he said breaking the silence.

"Find me?" she quietly asked, Danielle didn't study much about wolf history but she knew the basics of how they shifted, their weakness and always have a destined mate.

Kissing her knuckles he looked at her with sad eyes. "As kids, my brother and I knew our futures. Protectors of our little sister Emma. Protector - a champion for his or her ward, his life shall be dedicated to his ward and their future mate and family. No distractions should be made hence no mate. Noah and I accepted it but we paid it no mind until we saw how happy it made wolves, to have that one person who loves them unconditionally. Emma has and still been our main focus but we wanted what she had. Even she wanted us to have it. A few months ago both Emma and Caiden lifted the band. Did you know I had a mate and a kid before you? Fuck I didn't even fully know but my wolf confirmed it."

"What happened to them?" Danny asked not hurt of his revelation but curious. Where was this mate? And a child that part did hurt her she wanted that with him, a family with him though they just met everything felt right with Jonah. She saw a future with him and not being scared nor hiding. Jonah was it for her.

"They were murdered," he spat out. Danielle let out a shocked gasp and quickly held his hand to comfort him. "This is why I need you to leave, baby. I can't go through that again. You are my future happiness and no fucked up hybrid is going to take that away from me again." With his words, his grip got tighter on Danielle's hand his anger and determination evident in his grip. "Jonah" his mate cried out in pain that brought him out of his reverie. Danielle snatched her hand from his grip to massage out the pain,."Baby, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry," he repeated drawing her closer to him and burying his face in her neck taking in her scent.

"It's okay," she said truthfully wrapping her arms around him. Right there, she knew what she had to do. As the last pure-blood witch she had the power to help her mate and her new family. The Royal wolves were already blessed with gifts from the Moon Goddess to protect themselves but not her mate and the men who loyally serve him. "Protéger moncœur. Protéger mon amour. Protéger ma famille. Laissez ma magie parler vrai." With those words said, Danielle felt her magic flowing over Jonah and every single wolf linked to him. She couldn't let them face whatever threat alone after all they brought back Hakeem to her.

"The first convoy has arrived." a voice said over the private channel. "Our ETA is 10 minutes. What is the location on his majesty Prince Angelo?" Zhee responded.

"15 minutes away from the airstrip alongside Alpha Starkov's convoy." the other sentinel reported. Jonah held Danielle a bit longer hoping his anxiety would go away but it didn't.

"We have the delta. We are near the gates" Zhee said closing off their conversation. They drove through the gates of the private airstrip and parked near the vehicle which brought Becca and her mate. The two were already on the jet awaiting the others. Sentinels were on high alert for the last two convoys, Jonah and Danielle didn't leave the van after the sentinels who accompanied them left.

"What was it you said back there in french?" Jonah asked memorizing her face in the dim light of the van. Danny reached up and tucked his long dark hair behind his ear then leaned in to kiss him. Jonah responded quickly reveling in the pleasure of his mate's lips. Her lips were soft and delectable a moan was caught in his throat as her fingers made their way through his hair. He licked her lips then plunged it in her parted lips. Danny clutched onto her protector as the sensations of lust coursed through her body but what caused her to gasp in shock was the wonderful feeling of her heart bursting with love and joy. Jonah felt it too tears pricked behind his eyes as he felt his wolf submitting to this woman in his arms urging him to claim her right there right now.

He loved her and was happy that the goddess and Helen chose this beauty to be his other half. Pulling back slightly, resting his forehead against hers he waited till she caught her breath, "A protection spell" she breathed out.

"What?!" He completely forgot his question earlier.

"What I said in french. It was a protection spell for you. My heart. My love. And for my new family"

Jonah froze at her words her action confirmed everything. "Say it. Please." he croaked out.

Smiling at the exotic man in front of her she gave him a peck on his lips and said those words she wanted to tell him earlier today at the park, "I love you, Jonah". With a silly grin on his face, he crashed his lips against her in which she responded to quickly. 'Claim mate now. She's ours' his wolf urged on.

"I'm going to claim you now," Jonah said against her lips. Before she had time to ask what he meant and how is he going to do that, his canines sank into her neck causing her scream out in pain but it didn't last long as it soon turned into pleasure. Her blood was sweet as cherry nectar on his tongue with his mark on her he felt stronger, his eyes flew open as his wolf howled in ecstasy within him and begging to come out. If anyone saw the delta now they will see the change of his dark exotic eyes which were now an electric blue, Danielle's green eyes also turned to blue she was at her most powerful now. Jonah's claim on her awakened the powers of the white witch which some transferred to him, revealing him to be her other half. The one to carry on her bloodline. The low hum in her body made her feel euphoric, she never felt so strong in all her years of practicing magic.

Closing his mark on her neck and placing a gentle kiss on his pack symbol and his name, Jonah pulled away from her gently. "Now no one can hurt you," she said kissing his lips once more. Entranced by her eyes, he nodded in agreement, "W-Why are your eyes blue?" he asked.

"I will tell you more when you come back to me" she simply said turning to leave the van.

"I will. I promise."



"She is safe my friend. We are near the plane. Soon you and your daughter will be under Michael's protection. Little Angelo won't let that hybrid hurt our little luna" Alexei said to his friend who has been quiet the whole ride and constantly keeping track of Angelo's van on the GPS.

"I know. My thoughts are on this bond between hybrid and Mendez" Nikolai said. Alexei and the driver growled in distaste under their breaths at the mention of the alpha's name.

"Why is he still on the bad side of you? You did nothing wrong. It wasn't your fault."Alexei said in anger.

"Luna Mendez was in the wrong place at wrong time. I couldn't save Luna."

Alexei scoffed in disgust. "You refuse to see truth Niko."

Nikolai didn't want to believe their findings to be true not even Michael wanted to confirm them. Accusing a Luna of something so vile didn't sit well in his books. They knew of the alpha's purebred stance in the kingdom but his Luna being the one spearheading it all? She worked so close with other Lunas to provide shelter for hybrids, helping half-lings find their way into the wolf kingdom even sat on the council alongside Queen Rayne of the vampire kingdom.

"He must be stopped. I hope Michael has a plan." Nikolai voiced out loud. "Royals don't need plans. They are always ahead of people." Alexei said with a laugh.

Driving along the street, talking among themselves a loud explosion was heard. The driver began to lose control of the car. Nikolai's men ahead of him in a similar van was experiencing the same thing until they crashed into an oncoming vehicle head-on. The driver of Nikolai's van was swerving to avoid the pile-up, "Get the delta" Nikolai ordered bracing himself for any upcoming impact but none came, what came after had them on full defense mode. Someone was doing target practice on them and was doing a damn good job. The first shot came to Nikolai's window cause the driver to get distracted crashing into a pole but it didn't reach its target due to the bulletproof windows.

"Nikolai. What the fuck is that I'm hearing?" the sound of an angry delta came through the speakers.

"That my friend is the sound of being attacked. Again." Nikolai shouted.

"Ah shit. My men are on their way, I have your location. Alexei, can you see the point of attack?"

"It's pretty hard to do so when trying to not die," he answered getting in the back with his friend. The bullets were sounding like ping pong balls.

"Always a smart ass."

"Something he learned from you delta" Nikolai returned helping Alexei pull down the back seat for their emergency bag and the armory they had there. Quickly they donned their bulletproof vests and helmet gearing up with guns. Looking back at the first van that crashed, Alexei breathed a sigh of relief as he saw his four men coming out in their gears heading their way. They began to shoot at a building on their left then one ahead of them on the right. The screams of the humans on the street were nerve-racking they should never be in any supernatural fight.

"Nikolai stay put. Don't play the hero." Jonah shouted knowing what his friend is thinking.

"Its Mendez I know this. The humans can't die." Nikolai said looking out at them scampering to safety.

They heard Jonah growled loudly then the line went dead. "What we wanted to avoid has found us," Alexei said going out the door.

'Keep your wolves calm' Nikolai ordered to his men as he got into defense mode. Using the night vision goggles he spotted two men on the roof aiming at one, he heard the bullets hitting the ground around himself and his men. Not one bullet hit them even with the snipers having them in good view.

'Get rid of them.' Alpha Starkov simply said before they shot down every visible sniper, they dropped like flies from the buildings but that didn't stop the attack they had backups. The war began with them firing back at their attackers, hiding behind the van they saw them. Bryan and his brother standing behind their men as a shield with a smirk on each of their faces.

"You are making a mistake," Nikolai shouted.

"We don't think so dear alpha. This doesn't have to happen just come with us and everything will be fine," Samuel returned.

"Especially your daughter" Bryan added. Nikolai froze, a million things came rushing through his mind the vision that came frequently was her body lying in a pool of blood. He shook off his fears knowing that Angelo will keep her safe.

"Enough," he yelled returning fire. Bryan shrugged and threw something towards them before they analyzed what it was, the object exploded above their heads, his men began to cough violently, trying to get away from the contents but they weren't fast enough and fell to the ground unconscious. Nikolai didn't see his best friend shielding him until he heard a painful groan. "Don't..... breathe it in" Alexei gasped out covering his alpha's nose with his gloved hand. Silver dust coated the air it was enough to knock out any wolf but not kill them.

"Are you always this stubborn?" The voice of Bryan was heard closer to them, the clicking of a gun was heard then the shot rang out. Nikolai's eyes widen in fear that his friend was going to get killed because of him, Alexei kept his gaze on his alpha. It was aimed at the two but not at their person, the shooter shot beside them.

"See how easy it is to kill you but I need my girl first" Bryan sneered spraying silver dust over the alpha and his beta. Before he fell unconscious the last thing he saw was Bryan's cold eyes on him.





"Be on alert. Nikolai has been attacked."

Those were the last words Angelo heard from his uncle through the speakers before a car smashed into them from across the street. Bracing for the impact he tucked Amelia's head under his chin and brought her into his lap then created a shield for everyone in the van. It helped as the van rolled over twice crashing into a wall, though in the shield they were still banged up. Angelo's grip loosens on Amelia as he hit his head against the door. All was quiet when the van came to a stop, the shield was broken, harsh breathing and moans were heard, car alarms blaring around them, it was chaos.

"Amelia" Angelo called out weakly trying to stay awake with his blurred vision he saw her on the floor not moving at all. Movements at the front of the car let him know that his men were alright.

"Sir? Are you alright?" Zhee asked groaning in pain. "Amelia.... take her away... from here," he said focusing on the busted windscreen while going to his mate. Fear of her not making it cause his blood to run cold. "Yes, sir," Zhee said going towards her also. Angelo blew out the windscreen, the driver went out first looking around before focusing on the car that deliberately crashed into them. Three other vans pulled up and out came out armed men who began to shoot at the crashed vehicle and the accompanying vehicles to the prince.

"What the hell?" Angelo shouted grabbing Amelia urging her to wake up, without any effort he put back up the shield around him and his men outside.

"Your majesty we have to move now. They are getting closer" the sentinel said eyeing their attackers. He absentmindedly answered yes while trying to wake up his mate. "Baby please get up" Angelo begged while listening for her heartbeat, it was still strong in which he was relieved. Sending word to his men that they are coming out, he reduced the shield to himself, Amelia and his two men. Holding her close to his body they made it out the wreck.

"Good to see you again your majesty" a voice called out from the attacking line. Angelo paused and looked at each man till one that was taller than them stepped forward taking off his mask. A warning growl escaped the prince's lips as Mendez stepped forward who simply smirked.

Angelo attempted to stop him but it didn't work. He tried to push him away with his telepathic power but nothing happened. Shocked and confused Angelo steps faltered back, he tried the men beside Mendez.

Same result.

"It's not working," he said in disbelief.

"Exactly. Do you think I was coming unprepared to attack you? A simple wolf against a royal is suicide. But a simple wolf with moonstone against a royal is just too easy." Mendez said answering the prince's unasked question.

His parents have warned them of this, with moonstone on their enemies their gifts are useless rendering them to the level as a normal wolf. They won't be able to protect their people not even their mates.

"No. No." Angelo said not believing what was happening. Lykos was going crazy he wanted out but he had to protect his mate. He tried, again and again, the only thing he was able to hit was their cars.

"Your majesty" Zhee shouted as he saw how weak his prince got from using his gifts, he nearly fell with the princess but was lucky his men were there to help.

"Hand over the girl now," Mendez shouted.

"No," the sentinels responded for their prince taking a defensive stance in front of both royals.

"Look I have no time for this. I have another killing to do can we make this fast?" he said walking quickly towards them. Mendez raised his gun at the sentinels, ready to dispose of them any second now. Knowing how ruthless this alpha was, Angelo created a shield with whatever strength he had left. Lykos was begging to be let free to help his men and to keep Amelia safe. With the shield in place in which Mendez he fired his gun towards the sentinels, in a swift move, Angelo laid his mate on the ground and shifted. The bullet deflected against the shield hitting the alpha in the shoulder. With his injury as a distraction, Lykos pounced on the alpha but the alpha was quick on the draw and shifted into his own wolf.

The sentinels shifted in defense of their prince and princess. Zhee stayed with Amelia as the others attacked Mendez's men. It was survival of the fittest.

Lykos was in full control now as he showed no mercy on the alpha. He bit into the same shoulder that was previously with the silver bullet, the painful howl pierced through the night another was sounded out as Lykos slashed him across the face with his claws and bit into his jugular.

The sentinels were keeping an eye on their prince while getting rid of the hindrances which were the alpha's men. They were easily disposed of in mere minutes from not being trained well by their alpha.

Lykos had Mendez by the jugular once again after being thrown off when an explosion was heard. It was a small silver dust bomb. Mendez was pulled away by one of his men while Lykos was distracted. The sentinels were in the full blast area and inhaled a lot of silver which caused them to drop like flies. Lykos ran to Amelia who was stirring ready to wake up.

'No love. Stay down. Please.' Lykos and Angelo begged of their mate covering her with their wolf body and burying their nose in her neck.

'Lykos? Angie? What happened?' she asked weakly.

'Just don't breathe in the air.... please' He was getting weaker by the moment, the silver dust was coated in his fur, though it was dust it felt like bricks on his back. He knew he wouldn't make it. They will take her.

'Angie please stay awake. Please. I'm scared baby' she said to him pulling him closer to her.

'Be strong, baby. I....I...will come for you..' He tried to say.

"Come here, little princess. Daddy is waiting for ya," the disgusting voice of a man crawled his skin but the fear that radiated through their link from Amelia caused him to bark at the man above him.

"Calm down doggie. I will take real good care of her" he sneered kicking the prince while he was down.

In an instant Amelia was taken away from him, "Angelo" she screamed. The fear in her voice broke his heart, his body was like lead not able to get up to fight.

"Baby, get up" she cried louder thrashing around in her captive's arms. Amelia watched as Angelo's rapid breathing slowed as she was put in the van. "Baby. Get up." she whimpered.

'I love you, Amelia. Stay strong for us baby. We'll come for you.' His last words comforted her as they drove away giving in to her injuries Amelia succumbed to the darkness.
