Chapter 26
**ARIA**
Last night, when I heard them talking it was for me the signal to go for it. None of us could sleep, so on a whim, I took a chance. We didn’t go all the way but it was already a crazy experience and now I know that choosing only one of them would be impossible for me. I managed to get out of my bed by some mystery and as I was about to go down the stairs, I heard Cassius’ voice.
“You’re telling me she shares a room with two guys and you’re not saying anything. What the fuck... You should have left your room and slept on the couch, damn it.”
“You don’t talk to me like that.” My dad replies curtly. “And we both know it wouldn’t have made any difference. They’re only here for a few days and then they’re going back together.”
“So what? We just pretend this is normal and shut up?” I imagine him running her hands through his hair.
“We don’t know any better if they’re together...all three of them.”
“She was holding Adam’s hand yesterday and did you see the way Austin looks at her. He cares about her, that’s for sure.”
“Since when did you become a relationship expert?” My dad asks him mockingly.
I flinch when a hand touches my shoulder.
“Sorry.” Riley tells me. “I figured you’d stayed there when I heard the way their conversation was going.”
“Oh yeah I forgot...super hearing.”
She nods and wiggles her eyebrows. “Speaking of super hearing...”
“Oh shut up.” I cut her off with a chuckle.
She puts her under arm in mine and pulls me down the stairs.
Cassius’ whispers come to a screeching halt as my dad clears his throat and flashes us a smile.
“Good morning girls slept well?” He greets us.
“Like a baby.” Riley replies to him.
Cassius pours us each a cup of coffee and my dad places pancakes in front of us.
“You treat me too well, Sal. Be careful or I’ll never leave.” Riley teases him.
“Not a problem for me.” Cassius replies, winking at her as he takes a sip.
“But a problem for me.” David kisses Riley on the temple and sits down next to her.
He is followed by Austin and Adam. Despite the fact that they have certainly heard the conversation between my father and brother none of them seem uncomfortable.
We find ourselves more than the three of us in the house. David and Riley are spending the day sightseeing as lovers and my dad and brother went to the gym before we joined them for lunch.
We have spent so much time together that we are comfortable, once we are all ready, the boys ask to talk to me in the living room. I sit on the couch and they both sit across from me. I feel like a kid who has done something stupid and whose parents are going to ground them.
They exchange a serious look and Adam clears his throat.
“The situation the three of us are in isn’t perfect for anyone, so we’ve been thinking about the best way to figure this out. One that’s fair to everyone. We’ve talked about it together and none of us are ready to give up on you so we’ve turned to Rosalie for answers so she can help us.”
“I am a werewolf but also an alpha, the decisions I make must be consistent with my position and with respect for my pack.” Austin continues. “Adam is a hybrid and he holds a similar position to me and people are counting on him where he comes from.”
I nod to let him know that I am listening to them but my heart begins to palpitate as I am apprehensive about what he is going to do next.
“It’s not in either of our natures to share. And certainly not a mate.” Adam speaks again, running his hands through his hair. “For you we’re ready to do it so we went to Rosalie because we needed to have as much information as possible to talk to you about it.” He pauses. “If it’s okay with you we want to keep you both.”
I stand there, mouth agape, completely stunned because they just told me. They both want me, together and they’re okay with that.
“If I’m okay with that... Are you kidding me? It’s perfect!”
I stand up and take them both in my arms. I must be the luckiest girl in the world.
**ADAM**
Once the euphoria of the news subsides, she looks at us with her eyes wide open and I know she has a ton of questions in mind.
“I’m warning you we won’t have all the answers.” I tell her.
“Ok then can you both tag me?” She asks us.
“Yes but according to Rosalie we have to do it at the same time... so we’ll have to... well you know what... together, all three of us.” Austin answers her visibly uncomfortable.
“It’s just for mating. The three of us don’t have to have sex together every time.” I say to relax him, winking at Aria.
“Thank you goddess.” Austin mutters.
“But then what would I become? I mean Austin is a werewolf and you are a hybrid. Am I going to be a hybrid too or just a werewolf?” She asks me, as I suspected.
This was the first question we asked Rosalie as well. Austin was much more worried about this than I was. Not that he wanted to become a hybrid, but the fear of getting older and seeing us both still young and beautiful.
“We believe, as well as Rosalie, that you will become a werewolf. It’s not the same process as becoming a vampire.” I pause, trying to gauge her expression. “But if you want to, you could become one.”
“I thought that was something we all had to discuss. We said from now on we were a team.” Austin cuts me off.
“That’s exactly what I was going to say. If you hadn’t cut me off.” I reply annoyed.
