Chapter 43

**ARIA**

Austin finds his human form and he stands completely naked next to me.

"Think about your human body." He tells me softly.

I comply and quickly return to my human form.

"It seems like nothing was wrong with you." He tells me with a smirk.

He approaches me and takes my face in his hands.

"I missed you." He says to me before kissing me.

I melt completely against his body and his kiss, feeling his erection harden against my lower belly.I break the kiss and kneel in front of him, looking at him through my lashes. Before my rational thoughts take over again, I take the base of his cock in my hand and lick his length. He grunts as I take him fully into my mouth. I suck him for a few seconds before he grabs me under the armpits. His lips crash against mine and then he turns me over and against a tree. I press my hands against the tree to hold me in place and he enters me from behind with a sharp thrust. He pounds me quickly and without restraint, our moans and grunts echoing through the wood. We are soon cumming at the same time, his seed covering my inner walls.

"I missed you too." I tell him and he laughs.

We resume our wolf forms and walk to where we left our clothes. Once we are dressed, Austin takes my hand in his and we walk side by side.

"You actually saw me when I took my clothes off." I tell him and he gives me a smirk.

"Yes. I left very early, I wanted to get to you as soon as possible." He sighs. "It's strange to leave and not know when I'm going back. I've lived my whole life knowing I was going to take care of my pack and now... I don't know it's like... like I don't really have a purpose."

"You do." He looks at me with a frown. "Getting it back. I mean if that's what you want."

"Of course it's what I want, but it's not up to me... and that drives me crazy."

"I hear you. I had Riley on the phone this morning. She told me that David was meant to be beta and not alpha. That he did everything he could to get his dad to convince the others to vote for you."

"He already told me that and I believe him." He simply responds by looking straight ahead.

"I marked Adam." I tell him out of the blue. "I would have liked to score you but we weren't really in a position where that made it possible."

"Oh well in that case, I plan to get into a position where it's easier as soon as we get through the palace doors."

Without warning, he lifts me up in his arms and runs full speed towards the palace. We pass in front of the intrigued and amused looks of the people we pass.

**ADAM**

Our blood supply is dwindling and we still haven't had a delivery. I have asked the person who manages supply to investigate why we are no longer getting deliveries and it seems that our vans are being diverted.

"It must be a blow from the neighboring pack." Fares tells me sitting in a chair on the other side of my desk.

"Just because you have a problem with werewolves doesn't mean it's necessarily their fault." Sasha replies.

"If I had a problem with them I wouldn't be here."

"Please. We're not here to debate about that." I interrupt them. "We need a lot more than just guessing. We need evidence." I pause and look at them in turn. "Do you have any?"

They both shake their heads and Leila enters my office without knocking.

"Arthur, a young doctor, told me that three men, very tall and muscular, went to the clinic." She pauses dramatically. "They asked them to stop sending us blood because we were all unnatural." She takes a chair and puts it between Sasha and Fares. "Those three men had a wolf tattooed on their neck. So I'm pretty much with Fares in saying it was a werewolf thing. The vans leave well with blood but come back empty. He didn't know we weren't getting them."

"Fares, have some men go out and pick some up and let the clinic know we're coming by."

He nods and walks out of my office, leaving me with my brother and sister.

"Is mother back?" I ask them and they shake their heads. "Did you know we weren't the only hybrids?"

"What the fuck?" Leila asks me with a frown.

I tell them in detail what Aria read in the journals Rosalie gave her. And telling them that our mother's first name was mentioned in them.

"And you think that's true?" Sasha asks.

"Why wouldn't it be? She's wandering around who knows where for who knows how long and she's always vague about it. It's possible." Leila replies. "Do you think I can get Aria to lend me those journals?"

"Yes, she finished them. I don't think she'll mind." I reply and she gets up to leave the office.

"Why wouldn't she tell us?" Sasha asks me thoughtfully.

"No idea, but I intend to find out. We should talk to her when she gets back."

"Anyway that's a good sign, it means you might have kids with Aria." He pauses, giving me a smile. "It would be cool to have a mini you or a mini Aria running around the halls of the palace." He stands up and shakes his head slightly as he leaves the office.

He is right, this story is really the proof that I can conceive a child. I was so convinced of the contrary that with time I had ended up mourning fatherhood. When I met Aria, for the first time, I started to hope that it could be possible. And when Austin and I agreed that the three of us could go ahead with this, I told myself that even if I couldn't have a child of my own, if Aria and Austin had one, I would love it as my own.
It is at this moment that I really realize that until now I was not really living my life, I have a second life that starts since I met Aria and eternity will not be enough to thank the goddess of the Moon for giving me Aria as a companion.
She is with Austin, who arrived earlier than expected, I felt it right away, they made love for the second time today and she marked him, too. They both needed to get together, so I'm giving them some time, but I plan to join them soon.

There is a knock on the door and it opens before I can even allow the person in.

"I know who sent the message to Aria. You're going to want to see this." Alex says to me and I follow him.
