Chapter 10

I went to school the next day, completed the transfer process and was admitted to the glamorous Larry High. The first person I met was Kate who was already waiting for me outside the administrative office and we gave each other a big hug, finally reuniting with each other.

“Whoa!” I exclaimed as we stepped out to the open field and I looked around it with an enlarged pupil. “Everything about this school amazes me, Kate.” My mouth was wide open as I looked at the tall building in astonishment. This school looked like another world entirely.

“This school is very huge Kate, I don’t think I can see the end of it even before I graduate,” I told her and spin just to look around, I was like Alice in wonderland right now, the only difference was I wasn’t putting on a white dress, I was wearing a normal black jean and green top and my hair was tied backwards.

“I will show you around at the few places I know,” Kate told me with a smile and held my hands, just like she always does. Kate loves me so much and I love her two times the way she loves me. “Come on Ivana, just like old times, I am glad to be with you again.

“I am so excited too.” I often wish I and Kate were twins, but we had a different appearance. Kate was taller than me and she doesn’t have blue eyes like mine. She is also fatter and her face is round while mine is straight.

Kate has little curved legs while mine is straight, her ass is bigger than mine, I can’t even give detail on what my ass looks like and her boobs are bigger, mine is average and she has a great shape, but me, oh shit!

Kate has long dark brown hair with fringe. She always trims and styles, but my hair is blonde and depressing. I tried to dye my hair brown but it got uglier. To me, I was damn ugly.

Try to picture me, blonde hair, blue eyes, straight face, average height, the unknown shape of ass and average boobs, straight legs and no sense of style, they all sum up to ugly. The only thing I loved most about myself was the fact that I had a dimple.

“This must be the main hall.” I pointed towards a large hall with a glass door and open space, a chair in fours and a long roll to occupy more than fifty people.

“No, that is the cafeteria girl,” Kate corrected me and I looked at it in astonishment. In the school I attended in the villa, it was not as big as this and I was glad I had Kate to fill me in on all these. “During lunch break, most students come over here to eat and relax.”

“Whoa!” I exclaimed like a little girl who had only heard of birds but hadn’t seen one before. “At our old school, we had to go out to get lunch and eat in class.” I touched the finely made desk and smiled. Was this what it felt like to be in the city and a new famous school?

What about that place?” I pointed towards a direction that had caught my attention and then turned my eyes to Kate curiously waiting for her brief.

“It’s the practice room, though there are many other practice rooms for different instruments and art, also the ones for rankers,” she led me close to the hallway and pointed in a direction. “Here is the assembly hall, they all come over to perform at this place.”

“Cool,” I peered into the glass door and I could see a lot of decorations and motivating quotes hung on the wall and one caught my attention, it was a boy holding a guitar and seemed to be in a spotlight.

“Who is that Kate?” I asked her and she leaned close to the door.

“Oh, he graduated from this school of art and signed with the most famous music agents, have you heard of the BHDS group, he is the leader of that group now.” As Kate went on to explain I just stared at the picture and imagined myself also in the spotlight and a leader of a famous group.

I had to shake the thoughts off my head, I was not even up to that standard and to get there I have to start practising. “Kate, show me your guitar practice room.” I turned to her and for a while Kate was silent and I was curious at her sudden change of mood.

“Umm…” Kate touched her hair and stood up straight. “I am still new here and haven’t joined any yet.”

I was surprised to hear this, Kate has been in this school for over a week now and yet she hadn’t joined any, what was the sole aim of coming over here. “What are you waiting for?”

“Well… You, Perhaps.” Kate flashed me one of those cute smiles of hers and I rolled my eyes, knowing fully well she was lying.

“You can’t be serious.” I bug her for the truth, giving her the eye.

Kate shrugged and exhaled sharply as we walked slowly down the hall. “The students here are so proud of themselves one can’t just join a group.”

I furrowed my brows. “Then, why is it called a school of art?”

“You are here now, you will get to know me better.” I smiled, Kate never gives much away, she was my best friend anyway and I would make sure we do something about joining, like she had said, I was here now.

I am the f**king boss!

“We better go check the guidelines and ask questions.” I took her hands but she held my hand to stop me and I turned to look at her. “What is it?” To my surprise, a coy smile spread through Kate’s face and her eyes lit up in a smile and I raised my brow curiously.

“We will, but for now, would you love to see Hinn Carlos?” She blinks and a broad smile spreads through my face as I bite down my lower lips, for a while, I have forgotten I need to see my prince charming, I nod like I never did before.

“Hell yes! Show me where he is?” It doesn’t matter if I can’t talk to him, what matters is that I can see him whenever I want to.

“Come with me then.” Kate dragged me along with a smile and I can’t help thinking what colour of clothes Hinn would be wearing and if he is being crowded by girls or if he was playing the guitar at the moment, but there was just one way to find out.

All my expectations were cut off when Kate pointed at Hinn Carlos, my jaw dropped and I had to blink countless times to know if I was seeing the Hinn I do see on stage at the Villa or if I was seeing someone else…
