Chapter 25

Two weeks had passed and Ivana seemed to have gotten so close to Hinn Carlos, she always came to the practice room and would play and practice with Hinn. She was foolish not to realize she was leading him on. I didn’t want to bother, I just loved being entertained by her stupidity.

Katherine was always on my tail, she didn’t want to give up, her words were always, I get whatever I want, but I will only watch her cry at the end, love was not my thing.

I sang at the daily bar and grasped many attention and admirers, the whole school almost knew my name and it was just a headache for me to deal with tons of ladies trying to get my attention, not a day goes by that I didn’t receive love letters from one lady or another.

I had just opened my locker and a letter fell from it, I didn’t bother to read it, I tore it and tossed it into the trash can, took my notebook, and walked down the hallway heading over to the practice room which happens to be the only place I find peaceful since the garden I once love had been discovered by students who won’t stop coming over until they make me fall in love with them.

As I approached the practice room door I saw Hinn Carlos and Ivana smiling at each other like two love birds, they must be at it again. This time the practice room was empty and I couldn’t see Nicholas or Lukas, which meant they were the only people there and alone.

I turned the doorknob to go in when I heard Hinn say something to Ivana and I halted. “I love something special, I should anticipate it,” Hinn said as he stared into Ivana’s eyes and the idiot just flashed him her cute smile.

“Yeah, you should.” Ivana smiled.

Hinn moved close to her and her eyes dilated as he kissed her lips, I clenched the doorknob staring at them with dagger eyes, Ivana was still like a statue and wasn’t pushing Hinn off her, she must be mesmerized by him, she had always said how Hinn was better and I have also noticed how she stare at him like a fu*king idiot.

“You are pretty,” Hinn told her as he leaned back with a smile on his lips. “Let’s date Ivana.” He beams with a glint in his eyes. I glanced over at Ivana who also had a twinkle in her eyes.

I scoffed, closed the door as I walked away, not wanting to hear her responses, Hinn has an interest in her and she does for him, it was obvious what her answer would be, she is a damn idiot.

I returned to the practice room after giving Hinn and Ivana their privacy, who knows how much they have made out in this practice room. I picked up my guitar since it was time for us to practice, Nicholas and Lukas were also there as we started playing.

I was absentminded, I tried to brush off what I had witnessed from my memory, but the more I looked at Hinn Carlos the angrier I became. I was playing my guitar but to me, I was making noise instead of melodies.

Hinn Carlos on the other hand looked absent-minded, he must be happy that his interest in Ivana had yielded result, congratulations to both of them, they were now the new couples on campus, now there would be no more secret giggling or making out, Hinn had asked her out and she must have accepted.

“Hinn Carlos, Robin Hiesten. What is wrong with the both of you huh?!” Nicholas shouted and we both paused and I glanced over to Lukas, he had stopped playing the drum and was staring at me and Hinn.

“I thought I was the only one who noticed it.” Lukas leans back to his chair. “You both are playing nonsense today.” He pointed his drum stick at me and Hinn and I dropped my guitar. I was not even in the mood to play anything today.

“I messed up today,” Hinn said, dropping his guitar.

“Yes, you did,” I spoke without hesitation in a loud voice and they all looked at me.

“How did you know?” Hinn, who had his eyes down, looked up at me.

“Huh!” I had blunted earlier regarding him kissing Ivana today, but right now I was speechless on what made me say that. “Umm…” I looked around the room, seeing that they were all waiting for me to say something.

I pinched the corner of my nose as I thought fast about what to say. “Well, we were all following your lead and this is where it landed us in.” I spread my hands in a demonstration. “We ended up playing nonsense.”

Hinn exhaled sharply as he looked down, his expression changed drastically. “That is not what I was talking about.” He scratched the back of his hair as he glanced at us. “I messed everything up with Ivana.” He muttered.

I scoffed, he should be happy since that idiot has him in his heart right now, what then is he saying about messing things up, are they not couples now?

“How?” Lukas, who was the most curious in the group, asked leaning close to hear more.

“I kissed her,” Hinn said softly and I watched Lukas and Nicholas beam.

“Whoa! Did you kiss her? How do her lips taste?” Nicholas went on and on with his gross questions.

“Then, how did you mess up?” Lukas asked reasonably.

Hinn was silent for a while making us all curious. “She rejected me after I confessed my love to her.” I raised my brow and a part of me seemed happy but another part felt so angry.

“She did?” I asked with a smirk on my lips.

“Yes.” He said softly. Then Ivana is an idiot for rejecting him. “She only sees me as a friend and nothing else.”

“Then you should stay as a friend to her,” I said quickly again without thinking which brought suspicious eyes to me and I shrugged.

Lukas gazed at me intensely, touching his chin suspiciously. “Robin Hiesten, you only contribute in a conversation that involves Ivana Kimbuersy.” Lukas folded his hands and raised the corner of his brows. “Do you love her?”

I glanced at the three boys that were in the room staring at me with wide eyes, they all look like zombies right now. I scoffed and got up from my chair. “I have an appointment right now so I will leave first.” I grabbed my bag and walked out of the practice room.

Ivana Kimbuersy dares to reject Robin after speaking so fond of him and acting like a stupid moron around him, she was not fu*king kidding me. I got into my car and drove out of the school heading home.
