"Please don't do this to me, Matthew. I am promising you I will definitely provide you with a baby soon. Just give me some time." I cry holding his leg trying to make him give me another chance. But he jerks his leg roughly making me hit the floor.
"You are a loser Aurora. You can not even get pregnant yet you are saying that I need to give you a chance. Just accept the fact that you are a barren woman and I don't want to be the one to call a barren woman's husband. So, get out of my house and also from my life." Matthew yells making me whimper in fear.
Still, I try to say something but a bundle of paper hit me on the face. With trembling hands, I pick up the papers and read the words written in them. I gasp in terror before looking at my husband to see if he is joking. But when I notice the anger and disgust in his eyes I lower my head understanding that this is not a joke at all.
"I want you to sign the divorce papers and leave my life for good. I am not going to give you a penny from my hard-earned money so don't think about asking for any alimony." Matthew says while I just nod my head in response because I don't want his money.
I sign the divorced paper in silence and walk out of the house without taking anything with me. I don't know where I am going because I don't have anyone who will help me. My own parents are also not going to let me live with them as they believe that Jesus is punishing me for the sins I have done by disappointing my husband.
Suddenly, I hear the sound of a car so I turn toward the left but before I can register what's going on everything turn black around me.
