Chapter 14

Athena's Point of View

Arius kissed me again when he found out that I was still a virgin. Although the pain in my sheath was still there, when he started moving and swaying his body, the pain had already faded away.

“I didn't expect this, Athena…"

Arius still kept on saying even now. He was still shunting his hips against mine. I never expected this kind of activity to happen. I never thought that I would give myself to a man like Arius.

He's a vampire king, while I am a hunter.

I killed vampires. He's one of my top missions, and now what am I doing?

I even let him kiss me and took my purity away from me. This vampire king would be the first one to take my virginity and worst, we didn't have a relationship at all.

But, as I mentioned earlier, I will never regret this. I won't ever regret that I gave myself to him because I also realized something. I like this. This is my first time. I am still a virgin woman and I never thought this to be good as hell.

“You are so tight, Athena.”

Arius couldn't also stop himself from moaning. I just felt my face keep on blushing. His gentle moves earlier became aggressive. I know and I felt something within. It seems like my body wanted to explode. I couldn't even explain the feeling until Arius spoke.

“I'm cumming, Athena!” He uttered.

After ten seconds, Arius pulled himself from me and then he collapsed next to me. I could feel my mouth widened because of the unexplainable feeling that I had felt in my entire life before. This is my first time and I never thought this could be so amazing.

Arius helped me get dressed. I couldn't even stare at him, especially in the eyes. It seems like when I looked at him, he would take all the strength in my body.

I felt so embarrassed because of what we did. I rushed to finish gathering myself to leave. Even though my inner part was aching, I still have a mission to do. This pain couldn't stop me. There are so many people waiting for my help and I won't disregard that.

“I… I have to go.”

Even though my voice was shaking, I still managed to inform Arius that I wanted to leave to do my mission. I was about to open the door when someone stopped me by holding my hand. I could feel the strands of my hair standing on both ends from what he did.

“You're not leaving, Athena…” He uttered, so I looked at him.

I stared at him and saw how serious he was from what he uttered. However, I won't listen to him. Arius couldn't stop me from what I wanted to do tonight.

“Look, Arius… You cannot stop me from what I want to do. What happened to us now wouldn't be the reason for you to dictate my life. It's just a sex and there's nothing special going on between the two of us.” I answered him and Arius looked devastated from my response.

He even let go of my hand, so I sigh.

“I just cared for you, Athena. I know you're—”

I never allowed him to continue what he wanted to say when I cut him. I don't want to hear his words. He's wasting my precious time.

“Please, stop. You can't change my decision, Arius and don't worry because I will still go back here. I just needed to save those people who will be victimized by the evil creatures. If I won't leave to save them… Who would protect them?” I inquired and Arius sighed.

“Just please be careful…”

Arius looked sincere to what he mentioned. I wanted to smile because of his sincere worries about me, but I won't ever be affected by that.

“I don't need your care, King of the vampires. I can handle myself, and please don't follow me. You will just be a hindrance to me when I was doing my mission.”

After I mentioned those words to him, I left with the weapons in my hands. Even though my inner part was still aching, it won't be the reason for me to not keep going. There are many people who are waiting for my protection. I must save all of them.

I still keep on going. I entered the woods to the nearest town to where the vampire's house was located. After a couple of minutes, I could already see the houses not far in my direction. I was also hoping that I could find Wanda and make the woman pay from what she did to me.

“You better pray that our path won't cross, Wanda because if I saw you… It will be the end of your life.”

I whispered to myself and kept on going. I narrowed my eyes through the place and didn't find anything. No evil creatures roaming here and it is maybe because I went too early. However, it wasn't the reason for me to go home. I just kept on walking until I passed a bar here in the town.

There are so many vehicles parked outside and I know for sure that many customers were there. I realized that the evil creatures didn't appear, so I had to drink at least one shot. I just wanted to wash the thought from earlier. I want to forget, but I know it won't happen.

“What drink do you want, Ma'am?”

The bartender inquired after I settled down, so I smiled at him.

“I want the strongest drink that you had here,” I answered, and his eyes widened.

“Are you sure about that?” He inquired, so I looked at him.

“Yes, and make it fast… Please.”

“Okay, noted, Madame. Your order will be in a moment.” He responded and he went back to his table to start mixing the drink that I wanted. While waiting for my drink, I narrowed my eyes through the surroundings and found out all the customers were enjoying themselves here. It's a little bit dark here which can be confusing.

It seemed like I smelled something different here.
