Chapter 57.
"And when will it be an appropriate time to talk about what happened last night?"
Aidas asked as Lacey walked in and dropped her purse on the floor in shock. She had been out visiting her father and her aunt, who had been very worried about her. She managed to spend a huge chunk of the day with them and spun some lies about working late and working on a project that frequently took her out of the city. Her father was sceptical, but if he had any arguments against her he made none. He only warned her to be careful and to call him soon.
This made Lacey feel very guilty, she should have at least tried to reach out to him more. But she had been so careful trying not to rope her into the mess she was in. She would die if he got involved in the kind of shit she was in. And she wanted to keep him safe too, from herself and what she had become.
Lacey rolled her eyes as she took off her cardigan. Truth was she didn't know what to talk about, nor did she know how to talk about it.
How would she explain that she was in love with two men? Was it even fair to them to make such a claim?
No, it was selfish of her. But she couldn't help herself.
"Where have you been?"
She asked, ignoring his question.
Aidas shrugged.
"I'm a very busy man. I had quite a lot of things to do."
Lacey forced a nervous smile.
"I can imagine. Being the dark king of the underworld and infamous business man."
Aidas nodded appreciatively.
"I'm relieved you understand."
Understand? Lacey scoffed. He had been gone for three days! Three whole days!
She had been worried of course but she restrained herself from calling him, or even asking about him.
Hunt had been busy with work and the pack too but at least he made time to see her. And he always told her where he was and kept her in the loop.
"You're back!"
Hunt said from the room as he walked out.
Lacey smiled at him warmly.
She wasn't expecting him back so early.
"Back so early?"
She asked and he shrugged as he pulled her in for a hug.
"My brother Ruhn was more than happy to handle some stuff and I had to see Suna."
"Any luck?"
She asked and Hunt shook his head.
"Suna had been trying hard to find a way to eradicate the demons in the city, but even with the seasoned demon hunter Crispin Bjorn on her side and a ready coven of witches at her beck and call, it was proving harder than usual."
"Is there any way I can help?"
She asked and Hunt shrugged.
"She's working on seeing a specialist in Ark City. Hopefully she'll come back with some answers."
Lacey nodded. She caressed Hunt's arm.
"I hope so too."
"Ugh! Enough with such boring talk. Can we all stop pretending like we don't have something urgent to talk about?"
Aidas asked and Lacey sighed.
"What?! What do you want to talk about?"
"And why do you care so much about it?!"
Aidas stood up and moved closer to her.
"Because I can't get my mind off it! That's why!"
He snapped and Lacey narrowed her eyes at him.
He infuriated her so much! She had not heard from him for days and yet he came in asking questions she didn't have any answer to.
"That's your problem. What happened that night was a mistake."
"I don't know what I was thinking..."
She said as she started walking away. Hunt held unto her hand.
"You don't have to pretend... It's okay to feel that way..."
He answered softly.
"Feel like what Hunt? It's so selfish of me!"
"To want you both to myself..."
She answered with tears in her eyes. She didn't blink, so they wouldn't fall, but her eyes were already glassy with them already.
"And how is that a bad thing? I want you just as bad as you want me. Why should your feelings for Hunt stop that?"
Aidas voice was deep and husky and it threw Lacey off balance, how he was able to switch up like that... It was remarkable and incredibly sexy.
"And how? How do I get rid of this intense burning inside of me?"
She asked softly.
Aidas and Hunt glanced at each other.
There was mutual understanding between the two of them. They were Supernaturals. Mere mortals and human men would have frowned at the idea of sharing a woman but if it was what Lacey wanted, both of them would move heaven on earth just to be with her.
And if that meant sharing... Well, it wouldn't be the first.
The only difference this time was that it was with a woman they loved.
They just didn't fully know it yet.
"You know exactly how to get rid of it Lacey. You just need to say the word..."
Hunt muttered.
Lacey's chest started beating really fast, her lips went dry and she glanced at the two of them and slowly licked her lips. Aidas and Hunt's eyes were fixated on her. The tension in the air changed and she knew what was coming.
But was she ready to embrace it?
She asked herself as she felt a tightening in her groin.
"I don't want to lose you Lacey..."
Aidas whispered.
It was the truth, the raw truth, which was why he would do just about anything to keep her.
"I feel that way about you and Hunt. You know that. I just don’t want either of you to get hurt."
"Why don't you worry less about that... And just tell me what you want Lacey."
Every step Aidas took closer to her made her hot all over, her heart started beating fast and she let out a small gasp as he finally stood in front of her and caressed her cheeks.
His hands were cold against her skin and she shivered slightly.
"I'm sorry."
He whispered in her ear, his lips grazing her ear, tingling her senses.
She knew he was apologising for how cold he was, but she didn't care.
"Don't be."
She said slowly.
"Here... Let me."
Hunt replied from behind and gently placed his hands around her waist.
Slowly, she was engulfed in his warmth that served useful in the warm chilly air.
"What do you want?"
She asked, looking from one man to the other.
"You," Hunt replied.
"Only you."
His breath was in her ear. His left hand had slid from her waist to her hip. At first it felt like he was holding her, but then the message he was sending, with his hand slowly circling her hips and bottom, was clear.
Lacey tried to concentrate but she couldn't, Hunt’s voice was in her ear. His erection was pressing into the crack of her bum through their clothing, but it felt as if they were naked.
"You’re very distracting, Lacey. The way you swish around the apartment in nothing but shorts with your hips swinging ."
Not as distracting as Aidas's stance, the way he was right in front of her just watching her melting into Hunt's arms.
She felt her breathing quicken as Aidas raised his hand from his side and slid it along her neck and over her shoulder. He flicked her hair around to reveal her skin.
She felt his cold lips come to rest in the place he caressed a second before.
"I’ve tried to ignore it but I can’t. I keep seeing you naked. On the kitchen table."
"I don’t do it on purpose."
Lacey said softly.
"I think you know exactly what you’re doing. You’re making me want to fuck you because you think I won’t act on the desire."
Aidas said and Lacey almost scoffed. The night at the motel was still fresh in her memory and then he had acted on his desires, she remembered vividly well.
"I am? I do?"
"Yes."
Suddenly, Lacey felt free. She was no longer embarrassed by what was happening.
She wanted Aidas too. She wanted him inside of her. She had wanted it ever since she was Candy. She had dreamed of it and the things he and Hunt did to her ever since that night at the motel.
Aidas towered over her, pushing her into the edge of the desk.
His lips, so pink for a man, came closer to hers. Her mouth was open and she released a sigh as their lips danced around each other’s, almost touching but not quite. Teasing.
Then he kissed her. His mouth came down on hers, his lips part and his tongue was chasing hers.
She couldn't breathe. Her body felt so hot she wanted to rip her clothes off and let him have her any way he liked.
She didn't care about what they were.
She wanted to fuck Aidas into next week.
He released her mouth and she watch as he reached down to hitch her skirt above her hips. It was tight and she wiggled to help him, watching the smile form on his face as he sees her underwear. They were pink cotton boylegs but they were new and pristine and smooth against her skin.
His fingers ran the line of fabric between her navel and her crotch, his cold fingers further intensifying the feeling. His hands moved to her bottom and he slid them under, lifting her onto the kitchen table top. Then he spread her legs with his thighs. She saw him glance at Hunt as he teased her through the fabric of her knickers.
Hunt was watching, sucking slowly on his lip. Watching turned him on. She could see it.
Then Hunt moved in front of her, too.
He leaned between Aidas and her and kissed her. His weight was full against her chest and her arms strained, stretching behind to balance the three of them.
He smoothed a hand over her hair. He twisted it in his fingers and tugged it out of the way so he could bite her neck.
He sucked the skin along her collarbone and the veins that were beginning to pump wildly under her jaw.
His fingers traced the line of pulse that followed his kisses until he reached her mouth. Then, he rubbed his thumb over her lips and she opened her mouth to take his thumb in. His eyes watched the progress, intent.
"You sure, Lacey?" he whispered.
"It’s not too late."
Lacey nodded. She had never wanted something as much as she did in that moment.
