His Shifting

Lucas uttered, silently but clearly, "Damn whipped."

I looked over at Jade as she entered the kitchen to get a drink. She is constantly catching my attention. Oh, dear.

I said, taking care not to be heard, "Shut the fvck up, both of you.”

Blanco continued to look at me with great amusement as Apollo laughed and shook his head. If he doesn't stop acting this way, I'm going to kill him, I swear.

Before glaring at them both, I jugged the remaining rum. I indicated them with a raised finger.

”Stop talking nonsense, both of you.”

Blanco defended himself, trying not to laugh.

I grimaced and said, "Stop throwing shades or else I'm going to fvcking slit your throat."

Blanco averted my eyes and even took hold of Apollo's arm, holding it like a child. I gritted my teeth in anger.

I scoffed at him and said, "And you, old man. Are you trying to play with me, huh? Can't you keep your sh!ts to yourself?"

He grinned. On his face, there were visible fine lines.

“Here, Spencer, I'm just trying to lay out the facts. I warned you the first time, and I won't stop warning you until you awake in this misery.”

I tried to maintain my hair-like patience by clicking my neck.

I said with a hard look before getting up to follow Jade, "I don't give a fvck about your opinion. It's not as if you knew what I was up to.”

“Apollo is correct; it appears that woman is an exception, eh?”

I was at a loss for words and glared at him. I'm worried I'll actually slit my subordinate's throat.

Blanco posed a serious question, "You know what danger you could give her, right?" Don't control your own destiny.

My expression grew more stern. I hesitated to speak further despite wanting to. Right now, I don't want to fight. Not when Jade’s present.

I told her before I left, "If you just shut your ass looking mouth, no danger will come to you.”

She was looking around Apollo's practice space, as I noticed. In our world, Apollo was formerly an oracle. Although he is not a member of our pack, he shares the same home planet as me. We both met because he decided to live a life outside of our reality.

I felt heavier looking at Jade's innocence. Of course, Apollo is correct and has a point. Even though I was aware that it was the full moon, I brought her here. as a result of my confidence and ability to control shifting

Long-term residence in this world—possibly because it revolves differently—made me adept at shifting. Magic and spells don't really hold my attention.

Because Blanco warned me that Xena, my supposed Luna, was pursuing me once more, I bought her here. This time, she was successful in locating my location. The wolf would go to any lengths to mate with me now that the moon is full.

Of course, I am aware of that idea's drawbacks. By bringing her here, I would be bringing her closer to my way of life. The entrances to our world are in this town. Humans cannot see our castle, but we wolves can clearly see it.

All I'm trying to do is outwit Xena and her apprentice. I would bring myself to the location she would least expect if she were desperately trying to find me. That's right here.

She questioned, "He hunts?"

We all, I answered. She was satisfied with my response, but it meant something else to me. Half of what I say is true, half is a lie.

We hunt. When we shift, we go hunting. We hunt anyone who occupies our territory. Of course, she wouldn't receive everything.

"What do you hunt? Girls?"

Her chuckles tickle me, ugh. I was unable to stop. My body was seeking satisfaction, so I gently brushed my lips against hers. Am I drunk? No. Maybe, but not because of the alcohol, but because of the presence of this woman.

"You’re frequent in this place?"

I almost missed every word she said as I blinked at her stunning face. I was only able to shake my head in response.

No, I didn't come. I have no justifications. But now that I've seen how much she enjoys this place, I want to move back with her, of course.

Black magic must be at work here. I'm even less sure of myself now. Never before have I felt this way. I frequently made an effort to evaluate myself. But when I wake up every morning, all I can think about is her. She occupies all of my thoughts, even when the day is over.

I had trouble focusing on my work. All I did was use my phone excessively, calling and texting her without getting anything in return. Since I arrived here, I have avoided clichés and romantic relationships, so I'm incredibly perplexed by what is taking place. I've been in this world for so long; am I now developing into a human?

Was it sex that caused it? However, I've come across better than that. Her innocence? Undoubtedly not. I simply know that I yearn for her presence and desire her for myself constantly. I want to confine myself to her and own her. I only want that. However…

My gaze landed on her neck. My thoughts were taken over by the comfortable itch and pressure under my skin. The sensation, which I no longer remember. Although I don't always experience this, I believe I have sufficient justifications for it. The moon is full today.

“Why?” she questioned.

I swallowed. "Nothing."

Nothing. Nothing entitles me to a neck sniff. I want to nibble on it and yell my name at you. I want to perform for you repeatedly.

I made an effort to restrain myself. Like I always do, though tonight it seems a little more difficult to control. For reasons I'm not sure of, I'm so screwed up.

Another thing is that I couldn't help but show her how I really felt. She'll tell me everything she needs, and I'll be on my knees to give it to her. We will reside here if she desires to do so. Anything she wants, I'll do.

That's not the case, though.

She conceitedly voiced out under the bright full moon night, "No way, don't tell me you like me now, Beau”

Naturally, that is the response to my inquiries. To say that I like this woman is an understatement. I'm losing my mind. I'm going crazy staring at her stunning face with long lashes and almond-shaped eyes, and how the wind gracefully messes with her hair.

I lied, "I don't like you."

She said I was denying it, and my weak response was, "I said I don't like you. “ Damn, you're right, lady. Therefore, would you please stop criticizing me?

She refers to her ultimatum that she gave me to like her, "I said, alright. It's not as if two weeks have gone by already."

Woman, I'm telling you. You smite me the moment I see you, so there's no need to wait weeks.

“Tell me, even for a moment, that you have no feelings for me.”

I realized I was screwed up the moment she desperately tried to lick my lips. There is no longer a way out. He awoke the dormant wolf inside of me. I was filled with the idea of biting and mating with the human form as it turned its back on me.

Like a magic spell, really. I can see in the moonlight that someone is watching, watching me give in to this woman right here.

What was she doing to me, I questioned her. I pushed her away even though I desperately wanted to bring her here, right now. She undoubtedly noticed how oddly I behaved. She stayed at my villa, which I took her to. Given that I was unable to control the wolf inside of me, I wouldn't spend the night with her.

Before turning away from her, I clenched my teeth one last time as I felt my fangs beginning to bare themselves. To prevent my claws from slicing, I clenched my fist. I ripped my clothes off as I racked my body with itchiness that I could not bear.

This is absurd. Why am I struggling to get through my shift?

I moved through the forest while experiencing the powerful sensation that was emanating from my body. I have thousands of thoughts racing through my head, but I can't stop thinking about Athena's face.

I screamed, "Arrgh!" as my skin and bones tore. I took a breath and turned to face the brilliant full moon.

I have to leave. Not too near her, please.

I sprinted and snatched everything in my path. I'm queasy. My gums are itching, and I feel the urge to bite something.

I noticed an apparition in the forest's center that was very bright. I'm not sure if my hallucinations are just a result of being out of my system.

There is no escape because she awoke the curse.

As my vision began to change into a fish's eye view, with hues of yellow, blue, and black, I heard a heavenly voice resounding in my ears.

My body began to tremble, and before I knew it, I was groaning in agony and under intense pressure.

I can't help you, Jade. Even if I really wanted you, there was nothing I could do.
