The next morning , the students gathered their bags and came downstairs where the black luxurious minivan was waiting to escort them to the airport .

“ Thank you very much for allowing us to stay here your highnesses .  “ said the professor bowing his head respectfully .

“ You’re all welcome professor . We thank you for your hard work . “ said Daria .

“ When you go back , I will send the letter of appointment at the imperial academy . “ said Damon .

“ Yes , your highness .  Thank you ! Let’s get in now everyone .  “ said the professor excited .

As everyone gathered to say goodbye , they were all informed of Daphne’s new position and that she wouldn’t be coming with them . Ana hugged Daphne tightly with teary eyes .

“ I will miss you bestie . I will miss you a lot . “ said Ana .

“ I will miss you too . I wish you could stay here with me . It would make me feel less lonely . “ said Daphne sad at the thought that she had to be separated from Ana .

Gerry and Lion came closer to them .

“ Gerry , I think I will even miss you a little . “ said Daphne .

“ Now you are making me feel bad . “ said Gerry with a cute grumpily sad face that made everyone laugh .

Damon smiled pleased as he watched Lion preparing to leave . Lion could see the pleasant expression on his farce , making him even more irritated .

‘ If it were not for my brother , I would have never gone back . since he says that there’s urgent business to attend to , it means that it is quite important . As soon as I take care f the situation , I’ll rush right back . I won’t give him any chance to be alone with her . ‘ thought Lion to himself .

Ana noticed the nervousness on his eyes and knew she was about to witness a confession .

“ I will excuse myself and admire from afar sis . “ said Ana winking , making Daphne bluish .

Lion smiled pleased as she left the two of the, alone .

“ Daphne… “ said Lion holding her hand .

Daphne felt her heart skip a beat from his sweet tone .

“ I…..will come back again soon , very soon . When I come back , I want to tell you something important . “ said Lion .

“ What is it Lion ? “ asked Daphne slightly confused .

He noticed Damon staring at them angrily and held Daphne’s cheek softly , placing a kiss which made her blush in surprise .

“ I think this is enough to give you a hint of what I am gonna say when I come . “ said Lion with a handsome smile .

Daphne blushed nodding her head with a shy smile . The fact that she liked Lion was way too obvious .

Daria sighed relieved when seeing that it was mutual while Damon glared at him . Arnold , who knew Damon very well , could tell that he was jealous of Lion .

‘ I doubt he even realises that he looks jealous . That is a feeling that he has never experienced before . ‘ thought Arnold to himself sighing without knowing what to do .

When Lion came towards the van , he saw Ana looking at him disappointed .

“ How lame ! I expected a live romantic confession to unfold . “ said Ana .

“ Don’t worry . You will witness it next time . “ said Lion .

“ Oh , so you have something big in mind ? “ said Ana .

“ Definitely ! “ said Lion .

Ana smiled as she entered with Lion in the minivan , waving at Daphne one last time before it parted .  As they drove away Daphne waved at them with a light sad look on her face .

“ Now that you have said your goodbyes , get back to work . “ said Damon annoyed .  

Daphne wondered what made him angry all of a sudden but didn’t pay too much attention to it and went ahead to finish her work . 

“ What’s with you ? “ asked Daria .  

“ Have you informed the lords for the ceremony ? “ asked Damon .  

“ Yes ! They will come the day of my birthday . “ said Daphne .

Damon smiled as he patted her head just as he did when they were kids making her smile .

“ Brother ! “ said Daria with a cute grumpy face .

Damon smirked as he went inside with Arnold following him from behind . Daphne walked ahead of them and wasn’t able to hear the last sentence . 

Meanwhile when they arrived , Lion bid goodbye to his classmates , waiting for the car to come and get him . After everyone left , a black limousine came . A man wearing a formal black suit came out , opened the door , bowing his head respectfully . 

“ Sir Lion , welcome ! “ said the man .  

Lion nodded his head and entered the car . The car took him to the castle of the Morningstar clan . The servants were waiting for Lion’s arrival at the entrance of the castle .  

“ Welcome back sir ! “ said the servants bowing their head in respect . 

“ Thank you ! Where is my brother ? “ asked Lion .  

“ He is waiting for you in his office . “ said the butler , helping him take his coat off . 

Lion nodded his head and went to his brother . He was frustrated that he had called him early but he knew that he would never call him urgently without no reason . The guard in front of the office opened the door and Lion entered inside , seeing his brother working .  

“ What was the urgent business that you needed me here for ? “ asked Lion as he entered the leader’s office .

His brother was sitting on his working desk with his butler beside him dealing with some documents .

“ You are finally here little brother . “ said the leader of the Morningstar clan .

Standing on his chair like a king sitting on his throne .

“ What was so important that you requested for me to come immediately ? “ asked Lion annoyed .

“ Is that the tone you use to talk to your big brother Lion ? “ said his brother staring at him with his scary golden eyes .

“ Lord Lucifer , the guards have found them . “ said the butler , bowing his head respectfully .

“ Lock them in Leah’s room . I will come there shortly . “ said Lucifer waving his hand , telling him to leave .

“ What is going on Lucifer ? “ asked Lion confused .

“ While you were enjoying your time in that human university , our dear cousin Leah did something stupid . “ said Lucifer .  

“ Leah is literally the sweetest girl ever and smart .  She won’t do stupid things . “ said Lion . 

“ That’s what I thought as well but it proved us wrong . “ said Lucifer annoyed .  

“ What do you mean ? “ asked Lion confused .  

Lucifer clenched his fists angrily as he turned the file and showed him a pregnancy report . When Lion read Leah’s name as the patient he froze .  

“ WHAT ?!!! “ said Lion with his mouth wide open in shock .  

The report said that Leah was three months pregnant . 

“ This…..this must be a mistake . “ said Lion .  

“ I had our doctor check her and it is true . She is indeed pregnant and is four months , meaning she can’t abroad otherwise she might lose her life . “ said Lucifer .  

“ If she is pregnant , who….who is the father ? “ asked Lion who still hadn’t gotten over the shock . 

“ What’s important now is how we are going to explain to King Damon . The ceremony of the Golden Moon is around the corner and all the leaders of the clans have been invited to the princess’s birthday party . “ said Lucifer showing him the invitation .  

Now they were in big trouble because all three female descendants of the clans needed to take part in the ceremony .

“ You know the rules .  The bride must be a virgin for the royal descendant to carry the pure blood .  I thought this would be the  perfect opportunity for us to increase our power if Leah were to have been chosen as Damon Nigrescent’s bride but she had to go fool around with some foolish noble . I can’t even disclose such a matter otherwise I would become labeled as an incompetent leader who can’t even watch after a young girl . “ said Lucifer .
