“ What will we do now brother ? “ asked Lion . 

He may hate Damon but he couldn’t deny his immense power and hold he held over every single member of the clans , from the strongest to the weakest . 

“ We can only hope that Leah doesn’t get chosen as Damon’s bride . “ said Lucifer with a worried expression . 

A week passed since Daphne had stared to work as his personal assistant . The workload had decreased a lot . The people who would always end up overworking at the offices , would get to leave on time and even have an hour break . Daphne’s way of organising Damon’s schedule and documents had lead to the needed documents for the  

‘ I can’t believe I have finished work on time and even have free time to do what I want . She is amazing . ‘ thought Damon leaning on his chair comfortable as he glanced at Daphne who was working on his next schedule . 

The peace and tranquility he was feeling goes away with Daria bursting in the office .  

“ Brother , I need cash . Lots and lots of cash . You can transfer it t my bank account . “ said Daria .  

“ Do you see me as your personal ATM ? “ said Damon dumbfounded . 

“ Yes ! “ said Daria .  

“ You troublemaker ! All you think about is spending money . I wish you could start to use money for business purposes . “ said Damon .  

“ This is business brother . Do you know how much my collection is worth now . If I were to resell it , I would even be able to get double because everything I have is limited edition . That’s why I need to buy these new Hermes limited edition bags . They are good investement in the future . “ said Daria with a serious tone .  

“ There’s no talking to you when you hear the word limited edition Hermes bag . “ said Damon helplessly and reluctantly transferring her the money she needed for shopping .  

“ Brother , don’t say that . I work a lot too . Who deals with the annoying work that you hate and delivers every matter to you in a golden plate ? Thanks to me you don’t even need to go argue with those people face to face and still get the contract of investment . “ said Daria with a proud tone as Damon sighed . 

Daphne looked at them and laughed a little . For the past days that she had observed them , She realised that they were really a pair of cute siblings , just like she and Daniel were . Daria realised the melancholic expression on her face immediately . 

“ Daphne , is everything alright ? “ said Daria . 

“ Looking at you two made me suddenly miss my little brother . “ said Daphne .  

Damon looked at her feeling slightly guilty as he was the reason that she wasn’t able to be with her family anymore .  

“ Do you miss them ? “ asked Daria .  

“ I miss them very much , every single day . I have never been so far away for so long from home before . I want to see them soon . “ said Daphne .  

“ Can’t you go visit them and come back ? “ asked Daria as she felt the dark aura of Damon suddenly filling the room . 

“ True but unfortunately for me , I am a person who is drowning in debt . Can’t afford the plane tickets . “ said Daphne .  

Daria felt even more sorry for Daphne . 

“ You know what will do you good . A shopping outing ! Come with me . “ said Daria .  

“ What ?! Daria , i appreciate a lot that you want to take me with you but I can’t even afford a plane ticket . Going shopping for expensive stuff like that is way out of my league . “ said Daphne .  

“ Out of your league….I never thought you would say that about yourself . “ said Damon .  

“ I live with the harsh reality boss , not a sweet lie . “ said Daphne .  

“ Daphne is an expert of luxury goods . She was able to tell what I was wearing just looking at it . “ said Daria .  

“ You are ? “ asked Damon surprised .  

“ Although I am poor , it doesn’t mean I am not allowed to have a hobby and browse online where information is for free . “ said Daphne with a smile .  

Daria couldn’t hold her laugh as Damon looked at her surprised .  

“ Sincere ! That’s why I like you a lot . Brother , let me get Daphne for today . “ said Daria . 

Damon looked at Daphne’s confused look . Ever since her classmates , especially Ana and Lion left , Daphne’s mood has been slightly off her usual self when they were here . 

‘ ….That bastard aside , she clearly misses her family as well . she has also worked a lot lately without having a proper break . ‘ thought Damon to himself . 

Damon sighed realising that she would continue to nag him if he didn’t do as she pleased .  

“ You two go enjoy the shopping . I also transferred the money to you . “ said Damon waving his hand telling them to go . 

Daria didn’t waste any second in grabbing Daphne’s arm , getting her up from her seat and headed to the door .  

“ But……I haven’t finished the weekly schedule . “ said Daphne holding the file in her hands . 

“ You worked hard this past week . Let Arnold take care of the rest . Now it’s time to have some fun . “ said Daria getting the file from Daphne’s hands and threw it at Damon .  

“ Here brother ! We are going now . “ said Daria disappearing from the door with Daphne as Damon slightly smiled while Arnold who was at the door looked at them confused .  

As soon as they went down , the car was ready for them . Daphne looked at the car surprised as she had never been inside such a luxurious car before , a black rolls Royce with orange coloured leather interior design . 

When they arrived at the mall , the guards at the door bowed their head respectfully . 

“ By the way , this is our mall . “ said Daria .  

Daphne opened her eyes wide in surprise as she raised her head to see how long the building was .  

‘ My neck hurts just by looking at it . ‘ thought Daphne ass she followed Daria inside .  

The mall inside screamed the word luxury will all the luxurious brands it . 

“ Oh my gosh !….It feels like I have stepped in another world . “ said Daphne .  

Daria smiled as she really liked Daphne’s honest reactions .  

“ Now ! Where should we go first ? “ said Daria . 

“ Depends on what you need most . “ said Daphne .  

Daria looked at Daphne with a smile , holding her shoulder . 

“ I am leaving it in your hand . If you manage to find the perfect combination that fits me and my taste , I will fulfil one wish of yours . “ said Daria .  

“ Are you a genie ? “ asked Daphne .

“ Just for today . Consider it a one in a lifetime opportunity to have one of your desires made reality . “ said Daria with a dramatic tone making Daphne laugh a little .  

“ Then……Can you make me stop working as your brother’s personal assistant ? Honestly ! I have to repay the debt but I would rather be your personal assistant . “ said Daphne .  

“ Pffft ! Ha ha ha ha ha ! “ laughed Daphne . 

“ What ? “ asked Daphne laughing a little .  

“ You are the first girl in centuries that has asked me to take you away from Damon’s side . Usually every girl would fight with her heart and soul just to get a glimpse from him . “ said Daria .  

“ Pfft ! Centuries ? You sure are funny . “ said Daphne laughing making Daria realise that she had  nearly spilled the beans . 

“ Even though I have a high position , I am afraid I can’t go against my brother . He is someone who no one dares to go against . “ said Daria .
