“ I had a great day today . “ said Daphne .  

“ Me too . “ said Lion .  

he hugged her and gently placed a kiss on her lips .  

“ See you tomorrow , my beautiful girlfriend . “ said Lion .

“ See you tomorrow Lion . “ said Daphne a bit shy when hearing him say that .

 these days of dating with Lion had been like the perfect fairytale that she had been waiting to experience whenever she saw a romantic movie on the tv . 

The moment she laid on the bed , tired from the whole days work and walk , she was reminded of Damon .  

‘ Why has he been in such a bad mood these days ? ‘ thighs Daphne to herself .   

She had even given her more work to do because of his bad temper . Daphne was reminded of the three beautifies that’s ere considered candidate brides for Damon .  

‘ Could he be under pressure to choose one of those three as his bride ? Is that why he has been in such a bad  mood lately ?……I really hope he chooses Leah . She is the nicest among the three of them…..I am stuck here for another two years . In the meantime , it would become hell if either that orange headed girl or that blond girl were to be chosen as his bride…..Whatever ! I better get some sleep tonight because tomorrow his royal majesty has decided to take a break which leaves me to finish all of his unfinished work . ‘ thought Daphne to herself as she closed her eyes and immediately fell asleep with her clothes on .  

While Daphne had fallen asleep , Daria and Damon were preparing for the ceremony .  

“ Did you ensure her security ? “ asked Damon checking his crown and necklace .  

“ I put Arnold in charge so that he can make sure she is protected throughout the night . “ said Daria smiling that he still asked about Daphne’s safety despite she now being in a relationship with Lion .  

“ ….I can’t wait to get this over with soon . “ said Damon .  

“ Me too ! Who do you think will be chose as your bride ? “ asked Daria .  

“ None of them . “ said Damon .  

“ Hey ! I know you don’t like the current situation but don’t curse it . We need for you to choose at least one .  “ said Daria .  

“ …I don’t feel like any of them will be a match . There’s just….nothing . “ said Damon .  

“ You will find out after the ceremony anyway . “ said Daria with a smile as she adjusted his royal coat .

She nodded her head , and the two of them headed to the secret room where the treasures were kept . When they arrived inside the girls were wearing simple white sleeping gowns and a white veil standing on top of each of the stones with the engravings and emblem of the clans . the clan leaders bowed their head as they waited for Damon to stand in the middle . 

“ Let the ceremony begin ! “ said Damon .  

“ Yes , our leader . “ said the three clan leaders and the ceiling opened , waiting or the full moon to be positioned at the centre of the ritual pentagram . 

While they were waiting for the moon to be positioned their mana was also filling the circle with energy .  

Meanwhile at Daphne’s room , Daphne was deep in her sleep as she heard a voice calling out to her .  

‘’’ Daphne ! Get up ! The ceremony has already begun .  You need to make it on time . ‘’’’

The mysterious voice made Daphne rub her ears as her consciousness was trapped in her dear . 

“ I have been seeing all kind of weird dreams lately but this is the weirdest among all of them . Where am I ? “ said Daphne as she looked around and could ugly see purple clods . 

‘’’’’ Daphne ! Hurry ! ‘’’’’’’ 

“ Who are you ? “ asked Daphne as the mysterious voice echoed everywhere .  

‘’’’’’ Daphne !’’’’’’’

The voice spoke again and Daphne got up from her bed walking out of her room with her eyes opened but in reality she had no control over her body , she was like a puppet that was being moved by someone else’s hands . When Arnold arrived at the room , he was shocked to see it empty . 

“ Oh , no ! Where is she ?! Damon and Daria will kill me if something happens to her ? Why did you have to wake up in the middle of the night tonight of all nights ?! She usually sleep soundly that's why I though she would be as sleeping and wouldn’t matter if I stepped away for a bit . Damn it ! “ said Arnold as he started to look frantically for her . 

In the meantime , Daphne had already arrived on the rooftop , flying in the air . With the moon reaching its ideal position the pentagram lightened up as the three candidate brides flew in the by the magic aura of their clan . Daria and Lucifer looked at each other hoping that Leah would not be chosen . Damon looked at the bride candidates waiting to feel that sparkle that , as written in ancient books would make him able to identity his destined partner right away .  

‘ Why am I still feeling nothing ? ‘ thought Damon to himself as he raised his head to look at the moon and ceiling . 

When he took another closer look , he saw someone standing on the rooftop . He was about to shout that there was someone there but the words simply wouldn’t come out of his mouth .  

‘’’’’ Daphne , It’s time !’’’’’ 

“ Time for what ? “ asked Daphne confused confused as he saw herself standing in front of the roof . 

‘ ..this is just a bad dream . Just a bad dream ! That’s all ! A bad dream ! ‘ thought Daphne to herself .  

the giggling of the voice echoes making Daphne even more annoyed as she felt that the mysterious voice was joking with her . 

‘’’’’’’’This is not a bad dream Daphne , this is your reality . Time for you to return where you belong . ‘’’’’’’’’’’

The mysterious voice acted on its own again throwing Daphne in the middle of the pentagram where Damon was .  

“ DAPHNE !!!! “ yelled Daria and Damon in shock when they realised it was her . 

If anyone apart from the chosen ones were to enter the circle , let alone a human would die immediately . Daria noticed that she was unconscious and tried to save her but a harried blocked her magic , surprising her . Daphne passed through the barrier and ended up falling in the middle of the circle where Damon was . As Damon held her in his arms , he looked at her worried . Looking at Daphne , Damon felt like a flush of electricity rushed over his body . 

“ Daphne…” mumbled Damon and immediately the pentagram started to shine . 

The star shape appeared on both of their wrists with the colour of each other magic aura essence . 

“ It’s you ! “ said Damon surprised with a smile .  

He couldn’t believe his eyes that she was standing right in front of him . It was her all along .  The feeling of attraction that he felt the moment he laid eyes on her 

“ He he he ! You are indeed mine . “ said Damon with a smirk on his face as he looked at Daphne smiling .  

Daria couldn’t believe her eyes , and neither could the clan members . Freya stared disappointed while Chloe glared at Daphne furiously while Lucifer sighed relieved for his cousin to have been freed successfully . 

“ Daphne….is your bride ? “ said Daria with a smile on her face . 

“ Yes , she is . “ said Damon still amazed .  

“ This isn’t right . What is going on ?! She isn’t even part of the three major clans , not to mention an heir . “ said Clarissa .  

“ She is…..a human . “ said Ian shocked . 

“ She was chosen by the circle so she is my bride . “ said Damon with a serious tone . 

Daphne rubbed her eye as and woke up . the veil on her eyes had been lifted and she could clearly see their forms . She could see the horns on Lucifer , the claws , tail and ears of Ian and the magic flames coming from Clarissa .  

“ Where am I ? What happen ? Who are these people ? “ asked Daphne terrified .  

“ Calm down Daphne ! You are chosen as my bride . You are my bride . “ said Damon with a smile . 

“ Bride ?…No ! I am not your bride . I am Lion’s girlfriend . How can I be your bride . This is insane……..Wait ! Your….your red eyes are real…..your teeth , your skin…You two are vampires ? “ said Daphne terrified as she hurried to get away from his hands . 

The stress made her faint again .
