“ Wait ! Please ! I can’t pay for this bag . It’s very expensive please . “ said the saleswoman , holding Daria’s hand and begging her . 

Daria pushed her away making her fall on the ground . 

“ You can insult pretty fine and being a saleswoman at Hermes you get paid well for your job . Manager , subtract the bag cost from her salary and make sure she is placed to work at the magazine and not at the front serving customers .  I wouldn’t want to receive a report that would make me close the store . “ said Daria .  

“ Don’t worry lady Daria . Everything will be as you wish . “ said the manager .

Daria smiled when she saw the terrified look of the saleswoman as they walked away .  When they went out Daphne was still in disbelief of the bag that she was holding in her hand .  

“ Daphne , is everything alright ? “ asked Daria .  

“ This bag……I am afraid to carry it . “ said Daphne .  

“ Don’t be silly and hold it with pride . Daphne you are a cool person but you seemed to shrunk yourself back there . Why ? “ said Daria .  

“ ….I am cool but at the same time….I am indeed poor . Someone drowning in debt won’t just be confident to  face such situations . I have no problem dealing with her but I just don’t want more trouble . “ said Daphne .  

Daria looked at Daphne feeling a little sad . She wanted to cheer her up so she took the bag from her hand and placed it around her shoulder .  

“ Keep it on cause it’s looks like it was made for you . Honestly , it looks so good on you . “ said Daria with a smirk .  

Daphne looked at herself in front of a big mirror that was on the next store and smiled .  

“ Indeed it looks like it was made for me . I do admit that it was amazing the way you dealt with her though . Won’t forget this for my whole life . “ said Daphne .  

“ He he he ! Thank you ! “ said Daria .  

The two of them started to shop in the different luxury stores one by one . When they arrived at the Dior store , Daphne looked at a gown and was literally amazed by it . 

“ This is perfect for you . “ said Daphne grabbing it and showing it to Daria .  

Daria wore it and looked at herself in the mirror speechless . 

“ You really have a good eye . I am very pleased with this gown . I will wear it at the party . “ said Daria .   

The white gown with red flowers looked so well on her .

“ You completed the challenge Daphne ! Now it’s time for you to shop along side me . “ said Daria .  

“ What ? “ asked Daphne confused .  

“ The prize is we will shop together and don’t worry . Just pick whatever you like , I will pay for it and before you say anything , I won’t take no for an answer . “ said Daria with a smile .

Daria noticed a light purple dress with butterflies placed on the chest , the shoulder and at the end of the dress . She made Daphne try it .  When she wore it , even the saleswomen at the store were amazed . Daphne couldn’t believe her eyes when she was looking at the mirror . 

“ Is this really me ? “ asked Daphne . 

“ Indeed ! with some make up and a nice pair of high heels , you will look stunning . “ said Daria .  

She smirked as she imagined the surprised look on her brother’s face . 

‘ I am pretty sure Damon won’t believe his eyes either . He he he he…. ‘ thought Daria to herself .  

When they arrived back at the castle , the guard got all the shopping bags out of the car , bringing them upstairs to Daria and Daphne’s room . Seeing how many bags they were carrying and went to get the rest as well . 

“ Is everything ready for the ball ? “ asked Daria . 

“ Yes , lady Daria . “ said Arnold .  

The guard standing at the entrance of the ball hall , bowed their head respectfully and opened the 

Daphne looked at the details amazed and the lion head up the ceiling where the two thrones were standing . The majestic site of the shining crystal chandelier , the expensive table wear of all the tables , the rare flowers that were placed around and the ball hall and the read carpet laid from the entrance door of the ball hall till the throne .

“ I like everything . Well done , Arnold . I never expected that you would be able to organise everything exactly as I wanted it . “ said Daria with a proud looking smile .  

Daphne smiled when she saw the happy look on Daria’s face .  She took the iPad and decided to go back to the office . 

“ Where are you going ? “ asked Daria . 

“ Well then , I am going to finish the documents for tomorrow . “ said Daphne .

“ What ? You have to get ready . Tonight is my birthday party . “ said Daria .  

“ I can finish the work before lunch and have at least a three hours to prepare myself . I will be ready on time . “ said Daphne . 

Daria looked at her in disbelief when she said that she would be able to ready in three hours . She looked at Damon passing by and stopped him .  

“ Brother give her the day off today . “ said Daria . 

“ Did you forget that she is my personal assistant , not yours ? “ said Damon annoyed .  

“ I won’t argue with you since it’s your birthday but don’t expect this privilege to be active tomorrow as well . “ said Damon .  

“ I know ! “ said Daria winking . 

Damon looked at Daphne and held the iPad from her hands .  

“ Make sure you don’t come looking like a kid . There will be alcohol served at the ball . I don’t want rumours of me giving alcohol to minors . “ said Damon with a devilish smirk as he enjoyed Daphne’s grumpy expression .  

He slammed the file on her head gently and in a jokingly way and walked away with Arnold following him .  

“ Now , let us receive the royal beauty treatment . “ said Daria . 

“ The royal beauty treatment ? “ asked Daphne confused .  

Daria smirked as she clapped her hands and the maids immediately grabbed Daphne . When the moment for the party came , Daria and Damon were waiting at the lounge next to the ball hall that was usually used by the nobles to relax but in this case , it was reserved for the royal family only . The luxurious cars parked outside filled the place as the guests came inside one by won wearing all the most expensive . 

The party was about to start and there was still no sign of Daphne . 

“ Where is she ? “ asked Damon .  

“ She must be coming any minute now . Why ?…Are you perhaps anxious to see her ? “ asked Daria with a devilish smirk .  

Seeing that troublemaker expression of her he sighed .  

“ What are you up to now ? “ asked Damon . 

“ Oh nothing much . Just a little surprise for you . “ said Daria .  

“ If that surprise is from you , it is definitely more of a shock . “ said Damon .  

“ Oh , I assure you , you will like this one . By the way , did you place the spell on Daphne so that they won’t know she is a human ? “ said Daria . 

“ Of course I did . “ said Damon .

“ Poor Daphne , she is coming to a party that is filled with monsters according to humans and doesn’t know anything . “ said Daria .  

Damon looked at the time and git up from the couch holding Daria’s hand . 

“ We have to enter now . “ said Damon .  

Daria wondered what was talking Daphne so long but when she thought of what she had to go through today , she giggled and held Damon’s hand . The guards opened the door and announced the arrival of Damon and Daria .  

“ His highness Damon Nigrescent and her highness Daphne Nigrescent ! “ said the announcer .
