“ I really don’t know why everyone is on edge when they are around your brother . “ said Daphne .

Daria looked at her surprised in disbelief .

“ Everyone is afraid of him . Daphne , are you really not afraid of my brother at all ? Do you not feel pressured at all while you have been working with him ? “ asked Daria .

“ Other than him being annoying , nothing else……He is a hardworking person and….sometimes he gives off this lonely feeling . As if he is bearing the world on his shoulders , yet surprisingly standing tall like a mountain , making that heavy load seem like nothing……I would say I admire him for that but…I also hate him for teasing and constantly annoying me annoying me . As for fear…..I only fear that he will charge me those expensive soufflés that I have been eating  “ said Daphne .

“ Ha ha ha ha ha !…No wonder he is intrigued by you . “ said Daria .

“ What ? “ asked Daphne again when seeing Daria stare at her .

“ So this is why you haven’t been eating any soufflés for the past week ? “ said Daria with a jokingly smirk .

“ Juts thinking about a soufflé gives me the chills . “ said Daphne shivering .

‘ My brother who makes even the strongest leaders shiver with a glance……..doesn't make her shiver but an expensive soufflé does ??!! She sure is an unusual funny human . ‘ thought Daria to herself as she pointed at the Hermes store .

“ Let’s go and see in what style you will dress me . “ said Daria .

“ The challenge is on . “ said Daphne with a smirk .

The moment they stepped inside , Daphne looked at the store amazed and slightly in disbelief because she had always seen the  luxury stores only online . When she saw a purple bag that caught her eyes , she checked the tag and immediately let go of it .

“ This bag is cute . Purple really looks good on you . “ said Daria .

“ Looking at the price tag is enough to give you a heart attack . I could buy myself a house with the price of this bag . When I pick your clothes , I won’t look at the price tags . “ said Daphne making Daria laugh again .

“ I will go get some champagne while you choose . Do you want some ? “ asked Daria .

“ Sure ! “ said Daphne with a smile .

While Daria left for a minute to get the champagne glass the saleswoman approached them and looked at Daphne , who was checking some clothes , with a displeased look on her face .

“ Miss , that purple bag is a limited edition . The clothes that you just touched are over three thousand dollars . Please be careful with your touch . “ said the saleswoman .

“ Excuse me ? “ said Daphne confused .

“ I saw how you immediately let go of the price tag the moment you saw the price written on it . “ said the saleswoman with a smirk , looking at Daphne with a displeased expression .  

“ I am checking these clothes for… “ said Daphne but the saleswoman thought that she was just trying to come up with excuses . 

“ In case you don’t know , Hermes is a luxury brand that only rich people can handle , not poor people . “ said the saleswoman . 

“ I know what this brand is . Also , you don’t have any sign saying that you don’t allow specific people . “ said Daphne .  

“ Well , isn’t it obvious ? “ said the saleswoman .  

“ What is obvious ? “ asked Daria coming and handing the glass of champagne to Daphne . 

“ It’s obvious that a person of this standard cannot afford to compensate our clothes if they damage them . “ said the saleswoman . 

“ What standard are you talking about ? Do you even know who I am ? “ said Daria angry . 

The saleswoman looked at Daria and could tell that she was wearing expensive clothes but when she glanced at Daphne .  

“ There’s no way a person dressed so poorly could work for you miss . I apologise for the inconvenience , disturbing your peaceful shopping time . “ said the saleswoman with a polite tone .  

“ The only one that is disturbing my peaceful shopping is you . “ said 

“ It’s alright Daria . “ said Daphne holding her hand .  

“ What ?!! No ! It’s not alright . How can a saleswoman disrespect you like that ?! “ said Daria angry .  

“ It’s not like she is lying . “ said Daphne with a helpless smile in a low tone .  

Daria could see the lack of confidence in Daphne and felt even more frustrated from the saleswoman behaviour .  She took out her phone and called a number .  

“ Get your butt right down at the store before I start the procedure to close the store . “ said Daria closing the call . 

The manager of the store came down from his office immediately and saw Daria was smiling in a scary way . 

“ Lady Daria , it’s our honour to have you here . May I ask what’s the problem ? “ asked the manager gulping nervously as he looked at them . 

“ Your saleswoman here has been very rude to my guest . I thought this Hermes store was the best because not only it offered quality but also a good client service where everyone was respected equally . Maybe I should reconsider the location of this store . The mall is filled with luxury brands that are much better and honestly , if a space would free up here , my desk would be filled with proposals from other luxury brands to join .  “ said Daphne .  

He looked at Daphne surprised , not expecting that a simple looking person like her was Daria’s guest . 

“ You look very like an incredible person lady . There’s simply no way you two are together . “ said the saleswoman .  

“ You not only are blind but also deaf . Haaaa…..You are really getting on my nerves . “ said Daria .  

“ How dare you be rude to lady Daria , the owner of this mall and her guest ?! I have trained my employers to be polite to all types of customers yet you dare behave so arrogantly , especially in the presence of lady Daria ! Apologise immediately you fool !!! “ said the manager with an angry look on his face .  

Seeing Daria’s angry expression , the manager gulped nervously .  

‘ If lady Daria’s anger doesn’t subsides and the store gets out of the mall , my career will be over .  This location is one of the locations with the most income . ‘ thought the manager stressed as he glared at the saleswoman .



“ I can even fire her if you wish . “ said the manager . 

“ I am very sorry lady Daria . Please don’t fire me . I need this job . “ said the saleswoman with a pale expression when noticing the manager glaring at her . 

“ I think you should compensate for your rude behaviour . “ said Daria .  

“ Compensate ?…..How can we compensate you miss ? “ asked the manager ready to do anything .  

Daria smirked as she stared at the saleswoman .  

“ You will not get fired . “ said Daria .  

“ Thank you ! Thank you very much lady Daria for forgiving my foolishness . “ said the saleswoman .  

“ Who said I have forgiven you ? “ said Daria .  

“ Didn’t you say that you will not get me fired ? “ asked the saleswoman confused .

“ I will not get you fired but you won’t get away with disrespecting my brother’ personal assistant . “ said Daria .  

The manager froze in place when he heard Daria with his face becoming even more pale than the saleswoman’s face . 

“ Your brother’s personal assistant ?!…..What the hell have you done !!! She is the most esteemed guest as she is the personal assistant of Duke Damon Nigrescent . “ said the manager .

Hearing the name , the saleswoman froze in her place as well from the fear .   

“ The bag that Daphne liked , the purple one . How much des it cost ? “ asked Daria . 

“ It…It costs 120,000$ . “ said the saleswoman with her hands shaking . 

“ Perfect ! Wrap it up and give it to Daphne . “ said Daria .  

The saleswoman hurried to warp it and gave it to Daphne then took the card scanner to complete the purchase .

“ Why are you giving me this ? “ asked Daria .

“ For the purchase… “ said the saleswoman nervously .   

“ Heh ! You will pay for it . This will be your compensation . “ said Daria . 

“ What ?!! Please no ! I can’t afford this bag . “ said the saleswoman . 

“ If you can’t afford it you shouldn’t have been rude in the first place . Let’s go look at more places . “ said Daria as she held Daphne’s arm as they left the Hermes store .
