Everyone turned towards them , bowing their head respectfully as they walked inside and climbed the stairs around their thrones . Only when they sat down the guests raised their heads . The four leaders of the powerful clans stepped forwards bowing their head politely to Damon .  

“ We wish her highness a happy birthday ! May you live for thousands of years . “ said the three of them at the same time . 

“ Thank you clan leaders . “ said Daria .  

“ You may rise . “ said Damon . 

They raised their heads and presented the birthday gifts through their attendants . Each other the clans presented a rare magic stone with each clan’s aura magic colour . The werewolf clan , the Voklov clan presented a rare deep emerald green coloured magic stone of the highest purity that reserved only for the clan’s head’s family alone . The devil clan , the Morningstar clan presented a deep red magic stone . The Magic clan , the Astalieu clan , presented a purple magic stone . Being from the magic clan , the magic stone was the most powerful of all .  

“ Thank you for these precious magic stones , clan leaders . I appreciate them a lot . “ said Daria as Arnold personally collected them because normal vampires would find it hard to touch it due to the magic pressure they had .  

“ It is our pleasure that you like them your highness . My daughter personally found the gem . “ said Ian , the head of the Volkov clan .  

Daria was surprised when she saw the beautiful orange hair and blue eyes of his daughter . she had a wide chest and looked like a living nature in the blue dress she was wearing .   

“ This is my daughter , Freya Volkov . “ said head Ian .  

“ My cousin made sure the magic stone was polished and ready to use anytime your highness wishes . As you know , I have yet to have children your highness so the candidate position can only be filled by the first born female in the previous generation . My uncle’s daughter Leah Morningstar . “ said Lucifer with a smile .  

Leah’s black hair like the night and her light golden eyes and curvy hourglass body shape . Her black hair , fair skin and the slightly mystery made her quite intriguing . 

“ My daughter herself extracted the magic stone from its resting place your highness , just for you . “ said Clarissa , the head of the Astalieu clan . 

Everyone started to whisper among themselves because the more powerful the stone the harder and dangerous it was to extract it . With this move , the head showed just how capable and fit her daughter was .  

“ I present to you my daughter Chloe Astalieu . “ said Clarissa .  

Chloe bowed her head politely , her dark purple dress , fair skin and purple eyes were quite the sight . The dark colours made her look like a unique type of bat .  

‘ She sure went out of her way to catch Damon’s attention . My birthday party has literally turned into this guy’s blind date introduction . ‘ thought Daria to herself .  

Damon looked at the three of them trying to find something special and search to experience the same feeling he had with Daphne but none of them were giving him the vibes he was looking for .  

“ Thank you wall for your hard work ! After the party you will be staying at the castle to discuss the ceremony preparations . Today is my sister’s birthday . In this event where our four clans have gathered , let’s focus on enjoying it and leave the work related matters for tomorrow .  “ said Damon .  

Everyone nodded their head agreeing to his words as the musicians started to play the music for all the guest who soon filled the dance floor . 

“ Brother you had three beauties in front of you . An orange head with big boobs , a black head with an hourglass shape which is mostly preferred among men and the blond head with a seductive character . Big boobs , big but or seductive character……which one do you prefer ? “ asked Daria . 

“ Shut up you brat ! “ said Damon making Daria laugh a little .   

The door of the ball hall opened and Daphne came inside .  The moment she stepped inside , Damon noticed her immediately , her brown hair with slight blond nuance at the end , her white skin wrapped around the beautiful light purple dress adorned with butterflies on her chest and shoulder . A make up that displayed a light innocent our old colour and light pink lips , had captivated his attention . When Daria noticed it she stared at him confused .  

“ …Even if you don’t answer I can tell by your gaze . “ said Daria .  

“ Yeah , right ! “ said Damon sarcastically . 

“ Seems like your Cinderella has arrived . “ said Daria .  

Damon was amazed by how beautiful Daphne looked but at the same time couldn’t believe his sister’s words as she was the one who opposed his attraction to Daphne . 

“ What do you mean ? “ asked Damon .  

“ I know that you are forced by the curse into all of this…..That you are sacrificing being with someone you don’t want for our parents to come back but……I want you to do something you want so…Enjoy your time till midnight when the magic break and Cinderella returns to her original world leaving behind the tiny sweet memory . “ said Daria patting his shoulder and getting up from the throne , mixing with the crowd to meet Daphne .  

Daphne looked around confused until Daria appeared and held her hand .  

“ You are late . “ said Daria .  

“ I am very sorry for being late . I was distracted for a second and ended up getting separated from the maid that was showing me the way here . When I arrived , I told the guard outside to inform her that I had somehow arrived . “ said Daphne as she tried to catch her breath .  

“ I am proud that you were able to find the way on your own . He he he ! “ said Daria .

Daphne stared at Daria amazed at how beautiful she was .

“ You look like beyond beautiful . But…why the red eyes ? “ said Daphne a bit surprised . 

“ Oh contact lenses ! I forced Damon to wear red contact lenses as well so we wouldn’t differ .  I wanted to stand it a little and combine it with my wonderful dress . “ said Daria . 

“ Happy birthday Daria ! I prepared a present for you but due to the royal beauty treatment , I forgot it in my room . “ said Daphne with a helpless smile .  

“ No worries ! By the way , what did you think of the royal beauty treatment ? “ asked Daria .  

“ It’s good when you wish to relax but now when you have to prepare for a ball it is like a tiring day at a gym . “ said Daphne recalling all the treatments and preparations she had to go through in a short amount of time .  

“ I can feel you . I had the same thought when I prepared for my first ball . I wanted to run away every time a ball was to be organised because but my mom somehow made me change opinion and find the beauty in it , such as the excitement and hard work of the maids being represented with me looking beautiful . “ said Daria with a melancholic smile as she remembered her mother .  

Daphne knew from the records that Daria and Damon had lost their parents when they were young . She could see the sadness in her eyes but tonight was her birthday party and she wouldn’t let anything other than happiness to be reflected in those beautiful blue eyes . She held her hand tightly as if she was trying to give her strength . 

“ You are very beautiful tonight Daria and not only your appearance but your heart too is beyond beautiful . I am sure your mother is proudly watching from the sky the wonderful daughter she raised . “ said Daphne .  

Daria looked at her surprised as she felt a warm feeling inside her heart . A feeling she hadn’t felt in centuries .

“ Thank you Daphne ! You don’t know how much those words mean to me . “ said Daria .  

“ With your permission , I will head to grab some delicious expensive soufflés . “ said Daphne with a happy childish smile .  

Damon was about to go after her but Daria stopped him .
