CHAPTER 23

AMETHYST'S POV

"Hey guys, did you know?" Tristen said suddenly in the middle of our dinner meal.
We are eating now in the gazebo.
We looked at him but he was still chewing.

Darn this Aivan, we do triple rounds!
But, to be honest? That falls is weird.
"What?" two colored eyed, Oliver responded to Tristen.

When will we, their so-called women, talk to each other?
They are the one who's always talking to each other. It's like, we're not even here. I haven't even been close to any women we're with, to be honest.

"You know the falls? They say that it is magical." My chewing slowed down a bit because of what Tristen said.

"The heck?" Keenan laughed. The one with beautiful brown eyes.

The woman he was with who made a pretty scene when we came here is now just silent next to him.
Is she serious then or what?

"Dude, I'm serious," Tristen's voice was a bit serious.

"What do you mean by magical?" Hendrix asked.

"Okay let me tell you the story." He cleared his throat first and slightly adjusted his seat.

"Before, they only called that falls as Waterfall of Miracle,"

"Because there some people who miracle in there?" I almost choked on what Jairus said. Fortunately, I stopped myself from coughing with this ash's eyes said.

"Shut up, let me finish." Tristen gave Jairus a sharp look but Jairus just laughed and just shook his head.

"Ok let me continue." Tristen clears his throat again.

He's pretty talkative, huh? But at least his eloquence reduces the awkwardness a bit.

"They called that waterfall of miracles because yes. Those who had make love or would make love in there were the who will be destined to each other and could also have children."

What the?! I almost choked by that statement of Tristen.

I simply glanced at Aivan but the madman's face was blank. He's just listening but no reaction.

"That's hilarious!" Hendrix couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Hey! I'm serious! When my family bought this they renamed it. They now call that falls Aphronus falls," Tristen said.

"Aphronus falls? Where the darn did you get that?" Jairus asked as his face crumpled a bit as if the name of the falls was very weird for him.


"My grandmother. She said that she gets the name by one goddess but in two versions," he replied.

"What?" Jairus' forehead furrowed even more.
Actually, even me got confused even more. I'm invested at what Tristen's talking about.

"Aphronus comes from the goddess of love and beauty. Aphrodite, which is the goddess of sexual love and beauty in Greek mythology. Venus, also the goddess of love and beauty but in Roman mythology. Hope you get it. My grandmother combined the name of the same goddess in different version. " Tristen just shrugged then Jairus and Hendrix just nodded.

"Your grandma is lit," Hendrix said in amazement.

"How about the miracle thingy? Is that legit?" Jairus asked.

"I don't know. But, for me that will be blessing and a curse at the same time if ever." Tristen just shook his head.

I agree. It's just a story. That's not true.

If it was just Aivan that I'm destined to. I would say I'm auto pass. What will he teach to his children? Brutality?

"Hey, finally! The vacation you call is now over!" I whimpered as I arranged my belongings while I was under the bed.
But the floor is carpeted.
We will finally go home later.

During the seven nights we were here, we also did something in that seven nights in a row.
It was like as if Aivan did everything he wanted to do to me then!

We did it in the bathroom, in the bedroom, in the living room even as well as in his car!

I just gasped at my thoughts. I look like a prosti woman.

I feel like I can relate to them a bit.
The only difference is that, only one man touches me while them, they have shared bed with many different men.
Maybe there are different sausages that have already entered their unlocked gems but I know that they only have one favorite.
The one that they will bring food and money once they go back to their families.

"Do you have a bank account?" Aivan asked me while I was still arranging things.
Come on, I was just thinking about it.

He's not fixing his things anymore because his stuffs have already been done, so he's just pretty sitting while using his cellphone on the bed.

"Yes," I replied sparingly here.

"Good, I'll just send the money later." I just secretly sighed.

Silence engulfed us for a moment.

"Can't you just let me go? I don't have any fault here, tho," I couldn’t stop myself from asking this questions.

The madman just stopped using his phone for a moment but he didn't move so I just sighed again.

"I mean, I really don't have any fault here, right? Yet I won't report to the police. Because, I know the police can't do anything even if I report." I glanced at him but he was just really silent.
It's looks like I have no choice and chance.
I just looked down again and continued to fix my things.

Later on, he spoke, "If you want to be free immediately then die. Tell me if I will kill you."

I looked up at him but he still kept using on his cellphone.

"You're too much," I said in a hopeless voice.

It looks like I'll just really have to endure him.

Wait, their vacation is over. I no longer have a job. How about me now? What will now happen to me?

"How about me now?" I asked suddenly so he turned to me while his eyebrows met.

"I mean, when I come home later, I already don't have a job to go back to. Will I look for a new job?" I just asked again here.

"No, I will give you one day to be with your family," he replied which surprised me.

"Huh?"


"Okay. The day after tomorrow, you will be with me until our deal ends." My eyes widened because of this.

Does he want me to live with him for one month and two more weeks?!

That's scary!

"Our deal will end after one month and two weeks. Can our deal will end in just one month?" I ask here.

"Okay." Wow! Il shocked crazy! Yes!

"You will be like my personal maid. That means, as my maid I will pay you." Oh, he's really different. Talking about money again. But he's right somehow.

"After this deal, I don't want to see you again," I whispered softly before closing my bag because all my belongings were in order.

"Come on, I'm done." I got up from the carpet and went out first than him with my belongings. I don't need his help.

When we arrived at Aivan's house, I immediately told him that I was going home.

He told his men to deliver me and i just told them to sent me to the mall so that I could still ride a cab that will deliver me home.

This is also for me, to avoid gossip and issue.They might wonder why a van delivered me. Then there were four more uniformed men with me.

"Siiiis!" Crystal greeted me when I entered our house.

She immediately hugged me and I hugged her back.

"How are you?" I asked happily when we let go of the hug.

"I'm just okay. You, sister, how are you?" Her big smiles cause me to smile big, too.

“Tired but I'm just also fine.“ I shrugged here.

"Sis?" She examines my face.

"You seem to be fresher and you're from a relaxation?" I just laughed at her question.

"Oh, come on, it's just that we're really beautiful!" I answered her while shaking my head.

"Where is mom?" I just asked her because I can't find mama.

"She's with Uncle Arnaldo, sis," she replied and I just nodded.

"Did you already eat?" I asked here because it will be two o'clock in the afternoon.

"Yes, I'm done. How about you, did you already eat?" she also asked me.

"Yes, I'm also done before I come home. Wait, I'll give you something, give me a moment," I said and pulled out the money I had actually put in my pocket to give to her when I got home.

"Oh, even it's hot you can roam if you like." And then I handed her one thousand five hundred pesos.

"Wow, sister, thank you!" Her eyes were shining when she got the money. It makes me happy, to see them happy.

"Well, sister, do you have money? Isn't it's a bit expensive when planning to work abroad?" she asked me.

"I really set aside that for you. Don't think about it and maybe I'll take that back, do you want that?" I threatened her so she immediately pocketed the money.

"Sister, don't be silly! Alright, I'll just take a shower and then I'll leave," she said as we both entered our room.

"Alright, you'll take care of it because I'll sleep first because I missed this room." I dropped my body on our bed and I stretched.

"Sleep well, sis." Crystal just got something to wear before she left the room.

I took my phone first to text Bella.

"Hi twin, are you free later?" I texted her.

"Hi twin! How are you? Yes I'm free, why?" she immediately replied.

"I'm just okay. You? Alright, let's go out later. We'll meet about 8 pm maybe at the club. Are you G?" I texted her.

"I'm just okay, too. I'm G with that club, twin!"

"All right. I'll sleep first, huh? See you" I texted her again.

"Okie dokie. Sleep well! See you!"

I turned off my phone first and put it aside.

I closed my eyes and just drifted off in drowsiness and peace.
