CHAPTER 46

AMETHYST'S POV

When I was already near at Aivan's car, his staff stand up straightly.

One of them opened the passenger seat door and I just got inside without anyone telling me.

When I sat down, Aivan was just looking straight ahead.
He didn't look at me until I put on my seatbelt.

How is this now?

Where do I start our conversation?

I just gasped when he started the engine and started driving his car.

It will be just up to him where we will go. The important thing is that we can talk.

Also, I will think first how can I start our conversation.

I was just looking outside while the deafening silence enveloped us.

Only my weak clearing of throat and swallows break our silence but still no one wants to talk to break this silence that enveloped us for a long time now.

But I notice the way Aivan glances at me then his adam's apple will move and then he will looked like he's tensed.

I can also see in my peripheral vision the momentary tightening of his jaw.

What is his problem now to me?

Our trip did not take that long because after five minutes he already stopped his car.

I am not looking at my seat belt as I'm taking it off and when I took it off I just gasped. I was about to grab the door when it opened automatically.

I just quickly went down and stand up straight.

I was fixing my hair in my back but I just immediately hugged myself, too when I looked down.

I looked at all of Aivan's men and they were all bowing.

Oh my! I'm not still wearing a bra!

Then my twinkle and my star are even proud!

That's why Aivan was acting like that when we were on our trip?!

My hair was already on my back since our trip, I fixed it earlier because I feel hot. I didn't notice them when I was wearing a seat belt!

This Aivan! He should just told me! This is all his fault!

When Aivan came down, his eyes were sharp on his men who were bowing.

Fortunately, his car wasn't locked yet, so I was able to get into it and got in the back seat.

I immediately lowered my body and hid myself from them.

Except that his car was tinted, when I turned to them, they had their backs to the car of Aivan.

Darn really this Aivan! Why does he had a trip that he is just signing on bra! Is he does that to all his fans that asked for his autograph?

I haven't been able to wear my bra earlier because I forgot about it! There are just so many things happened!

I quickly opened my sling bag to get my bra.

I looked behind me before I took off my clothes.

When I already properly put it onto me, I quickly put on my clothes.

I just quickly leaned my back in the chair while I am catching my breath from embarrassment and nervousness.

Aivan seemed to be getting impatient so I let out a violent blow before I touched the door of his car.

When I came out, he was the only one who turned to me, his men still had their backs turned and it's look like they also had no intention of looking back at us.

Especially with Aivan who has a strong and dangerous aura now.

When Aivan and I were next to each other, I just looked at the place we went to.

My lips just got parted when I got familiarize this place.

This is one of Tristen's branches and it was their branch that we went first to back then!

Why did he bring me here? Why did he choose this place for us to go?

The night we spent here just then keeps coming back to me. I just swallowed at the thought that it might happen again.
But I don't think so, Aivan and I don't have a deal anymore. I won't let him control me again.

He can't manipulate me anymore!

We entered there quietly, but we were the only one who took the elevator.
His staff was just left in the lobby.

I was just behind him and I didn't see what floor he pressed. We were also quiet inside and it took a while before the elevator door opened.

I just looked down when it rang.

Aivan went out first and I just followed him.

I just wondered when I noticed that what we were stepping on was not smooth and shiny marble anymore but just smooth cement one.

When I looked up, my mouth dropped open when the sky opened up to me.

We are on the roof top!

The sun is about to set and its rays are already gone, the surroundings are about to get dark too because it was about to be evening, but there are lights on in the adjacent buildings and also right here on the roof top.

I looked at my wrist watch and it was already 6:30 pm.

When I looked at Aivan, he was also looking at me.

"Why did we come here?" I was just the first one who speak in us.

"Do you mind if we have some coffee together?" He even pointed in a direction that I followed with my gaze.

There was a wooden bench there and a small table in front of it.

It's not hot there anymorr because it's under a shed. Yet, it's also getting late.

But if we were here in the morning or afternoon, we probably wouldn't feel hot there, too.

Why is there something like this?

I just turned my eyes back to Aivan and nodded to him once.

I didn't wait for his reaction anymore and I just immediately walked towards the bench.

I felt Aivan's immediate following to me.

When I got there, I immediately sat down and looked at the sky.

A little later, Aivan was already also sat down next to me.

There was enough space separating us.

After a few more seconds, there are some people came.

They put down a cake that is already sliced, its flavor is black forest.

I just looked at the plates and utensils they put down.

They also immediately gave us each a slice of cake on each others plates.

After a while, my lips just got parted with the coffee they put down to us.

I don't know what it's called and I don't even know what kind of coffee was on under this icing.

Because its mug is covered with designs that are also edible!

This coffee looks more expensive than me because of its shiny edible designs.

They left us immediately after they finished serving us.

I just turned my eyes to the sky and then watched the birds there flying freely.

I just gasped while looking at them.

A deafening silence consumed us again for a while.

I let out a violent gasp before deciding to speak.

"So, why are you still following me after our deal?" I asked here while still looking at the sky.

"After our moments together? I'm pretty sure there's a result." I just shut my mouth when he said that.

After all it's all about her daughter with me of course. Why would he be interested with me?

"How about you? Why didn't you tell me that I got you pregnant?" he asked and I gasped slightly.

"I thought that you wouldn't care so. I know you know why I thought that way." I did not receive any reaction from him.

"Why didn't you still give it a try?" he asked.

"Why would I?" I asked back here.

We just got consumed by silence again.

"How did you find Jewel?" I just asked here.
I'm pretty sure that he found out that Jewel was kidnapped and he just saved her.
But I want to know how he saved her and what he did to those who kidnapped my daughter.

"I'm the one who did that." I immediately turned to him at his answer.

I just got stunned at what he revealed. I want to slap him! I want to beat him!

"I did that because you choose to hide your pregnancy to me,"

"But you should have said it anyway! Don't you know what I went through when Jewel disappeared from my side?! That was a terrible mental breakdown!" My tears begin to fall.

I was about to hit him but he caught my hand.

"You were the one who hid our daughter first, my plan is to hide her to you for only nine months as you did. But, you left. What you have said? Mental breakdown? That's what I also felt!" His foreign eyes were just staring at my eyes.

I see anger, sadness and resentment there.

I seemed to be softened by what he said so I just take back my hand from him.

I just wiped my tears while turning my eyes to the sky again.

"But, why you still didn't tell me after a year?"

"I don't know how to tell you." I just raised my eyebrows when I looked at him.

"How about three years ago when I took a vacation?"

"I thought you were already with someone new as I saw it with my two eyes. So, for our daughter not to get hurt, I still choose not to tell you." I just opened my mouth a little at what he said. Did he see me then?

"The guy that you were telling? We were only nothing but friends!"

"I didn't know that, tho,"

"But, is that why you decided to be with someone?" He also looked at me while his eyebrows met

"Someone?" I just rolled my eyes at his question as he's trying to be innocent here!

"I saw you with someone before," I just said.

"I never dated someone after you, Arianna is just always helping me with Jewel. Maybe she was the one that you saw." I was just got stunned by what he said. Never? As in never?

"Never? That's impossible. If you're also Isaac, then I know it's just easy for you to get women,"

"Well, I guess that's possible. Because, I didn't date someone even I was Isaac. I just focus with our daughter,"

"Then, how do you make yourself happy?" I immediately looked away from my question. What a crazy move, Amethyst!
I just heard Aivan's soft chuckle.

"I still have hands, I can take care of it." I don't know whether to pity or laugh at his answer.

"Even girls from a bar or anywhere, you didn't try?"

"No," he replied sparingly.

With his handsomeness, elegance, fragrance and wealth? I'm sure there were many who chased after him, didn't he really entertained too even the most sexy and beautiful who seduced him? I'm sure there is, tho.

"You followed us all the way to Batangas? You sent someone to look after us?" I just asked here.

He just slowly nodded.

"In fact, he even became your friend." I just stared at him with confusion because of what he said until I realized who he was talking about.

"Alexander was also one your men?! How?!"

"He is one of Tob's cousins." I just looked at him in disbelief. I just got too stunned.

So, I just choose to keep knowing nothing more about them after what he said.

"Then, why are you singing with your faces covered?"

"I waited for you. I know that we will look familiar to you if you saw our face,"

"S-so, one of the reasons why you formed a band is to help us?"

"Maybe? Not really, I think it's just coincidence. I just think that this will be the way too for you to know our daughter,"

"Can you stop using the term 'our daughter'? Use 'your daughter', 'my daughter' or Jewel, instead. I don't to hear the term 'our daughter' from you. I'm getting annoyed." I didn't help it but to frown.

"I'll try," he replied.

I just looked up at him in the eye again and I just swallowed because it seemed like they were drowning me again! This is just like what I felt before! His eyes can still drown me!

There are still things I want to know but I seem to have forgotten all of that because of his stares!

I just swallowed again when he slowly lick his bottom lip to make it wet.

"Daddy!" We turned around at the same time when we heard that voice of a familiar girl.

Aivan and I also stood up when we saw that it was Jewel and she was ranning to approach us.

Crystal and Aivan's five other men were behind her as if Jewel had tired them out.

We immediately approached her as well and she immediately hugged Aivan and I's legs when she got close to us.

A little while later, Aivan picked her up as Crystal approached us.

"Oh, what happened?" I immediately asked Crystal when she got close to me.

"Whew! She almost wanted to get violent and wild there, sister. At first she was fine with us. Eh, it seemed like she got bored so she started to looking for you guys. That's why, she keeps insisting on going to see you. She also almost become a Super Saiyan there at the hospital, sis, that's why that's it, we just sent her here. Sorry, sister, huh?" Crystal longly explained.

"It's just fine," I just said to her and held her by the shoulder.

"We even chased each other downstairs, huh." I just looked at Jewel because of this and saw that she was now huddled around her father's neck.

So, that is why Crystal seems to be panting.

"Hey, sister, how was your conversation with Isaac?" Crystal said to me in a whisper that made me laugh a little.

"There he is, oh." I pointed at Aivan with my muzzle.

"What?!" She backed away in shock and then stared at Aivan.

"How?!"

"I'll tell you the whole story when I get home. It's still even messy for right now, I still need to sink it in to my brain." Her lips just parted as she nodded.

"Ah, okay, sis. I guess this is a bonding time for you guys." I just winced at what Crystal said.

We looked at Aivan as he was putting Jewel down from his carrying.

"Uhm, brother-in-law, we are heading first, huh?" I lightly elbowed Crystal because of what she said, causing her to flinch.

"What are you talking about?" I said it weakly but with full emphasis.

"That is what will be also will happen in the future," she said softly.

"Shut up," I make sure that the others couldn't hear us.

"Alright, huh?" She just turned to Aivan again and Aivan just nodded just at her.

"Bye first, baby Jewel!" Jewel looked up at Crystal.

"Bye, aunt Crystal! Let's play next time and I'll cut your hair!" Jewel said as she's even giggling.

"Oh, don't be like that, baby!" But Jewel just grinned.

"Alright, sister, I'll go first,"

"Yes, okay, go ahead. Keep safe." I just nodded once and she then left with Aivan's men.

"Wow, there's cake!" Jewel ran to where Aivan and I were earlier, so we just immediately followed her.

Aivan even helped Jewel to sit properly in the middle of the seat before Aivan and I sat on each other side of her.

Since there are only two plates here, I just gave mine. I also don't feel like eating either.

I feel like I can't swallow yet because of what's happening right now.

I also looked around here there was no one here, we couldn't request to someone to get us something.

Because what we talked about earlier is confidential, tho.

A little while later, Aivan just called someone on the phone.

I was just lovingly watching Jewel while she enjoyed the cake.

"Hey, did you ordered juice?" I asked Aivan suddenly when I remembered that Jewel had nothing to drink.

"Yes, it's on its way," he answered so I just nodded.

"I love this! I hope that we can do more than this! More family time together!" Jewel even stretched out her hands because of great joy.

Aivan and I just both smiled sparingly at her because we knew what is my true feelings and thought.

This is also what I wanted to say to him earlier.
About how we will set up the child.

I know it is very hard to grow up with your parents being enemies or separated.

All adjustments are yours.

Back then, I never wanted that to happen to my future children because I knew it would hurt--- when I didn't know Aivan yet.

But I don't really love her father either, too.

How can I tell my daughter that I don't like his father? I even hated him so badly. That if it was only possible, we will forget about him.

That the wishes of her to have a whole family is a bit vague?

It's just going to be very difficult for me if ever that will he happen.
