CHAPTER 48

AMETHYST'S POV

I just swallowed one after another when we finally entered the gate of Aivan's mansion.

After a while, his car stopped in front of the door of this such a huge house.

Before I even touched the door, it opened automatically because of one of Aivan's staff, so I just immediately went out.

When I got down, I immediately looked up and was just looking at this Aivan's big house from the outside.

I even looked around at the surroundings.

Nothing much has changed a lot here except that there are more plants and trees now than beforr.

Because of this, it's now fresh to the eye.

I just looked down when I felt a little palms held on my hand, it was Jewel.

Shw was just smiling sweetly from ear to ear at me while her eyes seemed to be twinkling with happiness so I just also smiled at her. How lovely she is.

She is just so excited that we will be finally living under the same roof by now.

After a while, the door opened and three women dressed as maids walked out and stopped in front of us.

I just looked at them intently.
One of them is familiar to me.

It's Manang Sally!
In fairness, her teeth are finally fine now.

I support her. I am happy for her.

The other two women are also quite old, I think they are in their mid forties. They are not familiar to me. For sure they were just new here or already been working here for years.

"Nanny Sally!" Jewel greeted enthusiastically and let go of my hand to get closer to the lady.

When she came here, she do the 'mano' to her so I just smiled.

It's good that Aivan still taught this Jewel to be respectful.

Well, I don't know if he was the one who taught her, tho.
If it wasn't him, then for sure it was Manang Sally.

"How are you?" Manang Sally asked Jewel.

"I'm pretty fine, nanny!" The lady just laughed a little because of this.

When Manang Sally's eyes fell on me, she was a little surprised.

I just shyly smiled because of this before greeting her, "H-hello, Manang Sally."

I didn't receive any response from her so I just simply looked at the other two maids and they were already busy putting my things inside the house.

I just looked around to look for Aivan and saw him not that far from us while talking to someone on his phone. As I can see that his phone was on his ear.

When I looked back at manang Sally, she still had the same reaction, her mouth was slightly open.

I just them smiled awkwardly a little.

Do I look like a ghost?

I'm pretty sure I'm not, huh!

I know that I'm so beautiful!

I'm even sexier now, to be honest!

Besides, I'm sure that Manang Sally knows that I'm Jewel's mom, maybe she just didn't expect to see me again.

Maybe Aivan did not inform them that I'm coming back with them.

"Hija," she said softly so I just swallowed a little.

But why does her gazes become awe-inspiring suddenly?

Oh, come on, I already know that Manang Sally's see me as a more beautiful lady now.

"Y-yes, W-what's that, Manang?" I even adjusted my posture and fixed my hair because I knew that manang would praise me.

"It's like," she stopped from talking.

I forced myself to remain calm and presentable.

"It's like you seemed more now." She even scaned my face very well.

Come on, Manang Sally! Tell me already!

"It's like you seemed more uglier now?" Then that's it, I just can't help it I just flick Manang Sally using my fingers on her chin.

She made me thrilled, tho!

In almost two weeks of staying here at Aivan's house, everything was just going fine.

He's not seducing me or anything because he knows I won't hit him. And I also he know I will be just mad.

And one more thing, Jewel is always on my side or on his side so she can't find time where I am just alone.

It was just also because of Jewel's request that why I went with them today because they said that Aivan's bad will going to an event.

We're on the back stage right now I just only found out just by now that the band will going to have a mini concert.

We are here in a room where the five members of the Love In Lust band are all here.

Their motto is pretty crazy, tho: Feel the love and lust in us at the same time.

They seem to have their own world now even though we were just in a same room.

Draco or Drake Jairus is busy with the two women next to him. Wow, he did not changed.
Of course he can easily get anyone with his gray eyes.

Kent or Keenan just closed his eyes at the one side of this room while strumming softly his guitar. That's why I couldn't see those beautiful brown eyes of him. I can also hear his humming because he was not that far from me.

Onyx or Oliver Hendrix was just sipping wine by himself at the bar counter while he seemed to be deep in thought. The guy that has two colors in his eyes.

Tristen or Tim is a bit far from us because he is talking to someone on his phone. I bet it was Arianna. If not so, then not.

Yes, they are just also members of the said ban. I did not expect that this kind of circle of friends will build their own band.

They also just used screen name except that their faces are covered when they perform.

But that will change now and that will last forever.

Because they will going to remove their masks later and in their next performances, people will see their whole faces. And also the true color of their eyes.

I didn't ask for an autograph from three of them but they just gave me stuff, instead.

Drake gave me an expensive rolex.

Keenan gave me a deep blue sea cap. When I looked at its price on the internet, I feel like I'm going to be weak at its price!

One hundred fifty to two hundred thousand dollars!

Yes dollars! And even thousands!
Then he just gave it to me!

Then Oliver gave me the white gap hoodie he was wearing when I asked him for an autograph.

They even the one who apologized to me because they said they didn't really do autographs so they just gave me things.

I also didn't ask them all at the same time so they didn't know that I asked them all.

It's just a matter of timing who I will see from them that soloing, tho? Is there any wrong?

As for Tristen, appreciation. Because he really gave me an autograph.

I didn't have their CD with me when I met him in the corridor, fortunately Oliver had just given me his hoodie so I just had Tristen sign it.

Now I'm just sitting on the single sofa while in front of me was Aivan.
He is on the sofa bed while he was sleeping.

He has his arms folded and even though he is asleep now, you can feel that his presence is very strong.

His dangerous aura says that you are not allowed to move him or wake him up because otherwise you will be really dead.

Jewel was just next to me while she was just watching random videos on her phone.

After a while we heard three knocks from the door.
After a while, someone spoke from behind, "Ten minutes and we will start."

We all just looked at the door. "Okay, thank you!" Tristen was the only one to respond at the guy who reminded them behind the door.

When I looked at Aivan, he was already sitting and he was just staring at me intently.

I just noticed Drake's two girls leaving the room.

"See you later, babies!" Drake even told after them and the two women just faced him to grin and wink at him once before they totally left the room.

Crystal's idol is like this?

My sister doesn't know that this guy who she idolizes is a still have thorn when it comes to women as I ever met him for the first time before.

"Come on, guys. Let's get ready," Tristen said as he approached their things.

His companions followed him and just get their respective masks on the table.

The four went out first while Aivan was just looking at us.

"Good luck, daddy!" Jewel said to him and Aivan just nodded slightly.

Maybe he was still sleepy.

He just then looked at me.

"We'll just follow." I gave him a small smile and he just also nodded slightly before turning his back on us and walking out of the room.

It's only two minutes and Aivan and his band's mini concert is about to start, but Jewel and I are just on our way to our seats.

We didn't watch anymore the band's guest artists that preformed earlier,
because we were on the back stage.

We didn't have any trouble getting there and someone even assisted us so we could sit in our VIP seats.

When I looked up, I also looked around.

It's just their mini concert but the arena was very full. I can't see a seat without a person on it!

As in there was too many people!

Even outside, people are sure to be crowded!

Well, yeah indeed. Who would miss this unforgettable moment?
Who would miss seeing them take off their masks in person?

After a few more moments, the surrounding lights went out and only the stage was bright.

Soon the people around were shouting, screaming and clapping when the logo of Aivan's band appeared on the screen.

It was a blue skull with two red swords on it with musical instruments that they were using around it.

The screams around got even louder when Aivan and his band mates was shown walking towards the center of the big stage.

The noise around them subsided when they were already got into their position.

"Tonight is the night!" Because of Tristen's shouting, the people also screamed louder than him.

Even the actors and actresses next to me are also shouting and shrieking very loudly.

When they touched their masks the crowd went even wilder.

It got even wilder when they slowly removed their masks all together at the same time.

It got wilder and wilder as time went on.

It became even more loud here as if everyone around became the wildest they could be when they completely removed their masks and revealed their own handsomeness to everyone.

The floor starts to seemed to be shaking from the noise and jumping of the people here.

The camera keeps moving to show them one by one on the big screen in front.

Everyone can now see what are the color of their eyes really are.

There was no moment when the surrounding was not noisy. It's just too loud and wild here! Everyone here becoming crazy--- well, I guess except me, Jewel and Arianna.

When Aivan raised his hand, the surrounding noise subsided a bit.

"We decided to do this because I already found her," he said causing the surrounding to be filled with murmurs at the same time as they were shocked.

Wait, what did he just said?

I already found her?

Is it possible that he is referring to me?

Is that serious?

"She already knew who we are so we are going to show everyone who we are." Aivan nodded slightly, causing the audience to make wild noise again.

They set up the stage a little more before it got a little quieter around.

The lights on the stage went out and soon Drake created a sound with his drumsticks.

They just sang what they sang before at the party.

Oh yeah, I suddenly remembered, they didn't released on social media that party because that was just a private show.

Exclusively live at the party only.

Just like what he did when they were singing at the party, Aivan was glancing at my seat for some time.

After they performed five song covers, they sang five of their original songs that were all just about love and asking for forgiveness.

Aivan's voice is really beautiful, I won't deny it.

He was just used to praised me vwcuaee of my singing back then and then it turned out that he sings well.

I'm not a professional singer like him.
I'm just good at videoke.

After Drake's last hit on the drums, the crowd screamed and become wild again.

The show is about to end.

Suddenly everyone became silent when Aivan raised his hand again.
See how powerful he is? He can control too many people.

"We also have an important announcement," he said before taking a deep breath.

"I already have a daughter. In fact, she's already six years old." Everyone reacted to what Aivan said.

Even me was got speechless when he said that, I admitted it.

"But, that's not really the announcement. Also, I won't show you my daughter." The fans are complaining because Aivan doesn't want to show Jewel.

I simply looked at Jewel and she was just smiling sweetly while looking up at her daddy. How supportive she is.

"We are going to be on a hiatus." Everyone was shocked by what Aivan said.

Are they serious? I hope he was just joking around.


"We will still not do that now. There's a concert of a famous international singer going to be held here in the Philippines, and we will be guesting there. So stay tuned. Then, after that concert, we are going to be on a hiatus for one or more year." The fans didn't know how to react to what Aivan said.

Glad to see they are that disappointed.

Even I was surprised by what Aivan said.
Because I didn't know that they were planning to go on hiatus. Who am I got told by them even though I was with them these past few days?

"We just need a break. We also have our personal life problems so just bear with us," he said before looking at his band mates.

After a while, his band mates walked towards him.

Aivan grabbed the mic again.

"But, before we end this show tonight, we have something for you guys, we hope this will do to at least ease your madness at us at what we have just announced," he even said the last thing in a deep voice.

They set up a spot and soon the people started to get loud and wild again. These peoples are just super energetic.

Why the crowd would not be wild?

They all took off their shirts!
Now, everyone can see their beautiful bodies! Especially their eight pack abs!

After a while they all had mics in their hands.

"Thanks to all of you and have a good night!" they said together before the stage lights went out.

After a few moment, the lights started to be turned on here but it was still dark on the stage.

When everything became clear, Aivan's band was no longer on stage.

Why did they think of going on hiatus?

When their fans become more and more?

Our set up felt like were on live in status at Aivan's house.

I've been already staying here for three months and I'm almost the only one who they follows here.

Too bad Bella doesn't know this yet.

But she once informed me that she is now already pregnant and that she and Trev are only getting married next year.

We have bonded many times just the three of us.

We go out sometimes, just me, Jewel and Aivan.

Then my family has been with this Aivan on literal outings for three times.
Aivan is taking us out of the country!

We couldn't refuse because Jewel invited us.

Also because of the teasing of my daughter and Aivan's friends between the two of us, something seems to be forming inside of me.

Even mom is getting happy whenever she see the three of us happily bonding together.

It seems that Aivan has really changed. Although, his aura is still strong in front of his staff.

I'm surprised that despite the name they made, he still haven't let go of their family business.

Well I guess, it looks like it's an inheritance from his father.

Speaking of, when can I meet Aivan's parents?

What is the matter if they meet their granddaughter's mother, right?

I was on the veranda of Aivan's house as I hugged myself because of the cold wind blowing tonight.

I'm wearing a blue cardigan sweater but it doesn't seem like it's has nothing to do by the cold wind blowing tonight.

I was just staring intently at the huge, large and beautiful moon together with stars.

The sky is just so beautiful tonight, thousands of stars are shining in the sky because it is not cloudy tonight. It's just so calming and beautiful in my eyes.


I'm also really thinking about what I really feel for Aivan.

Because , there are times that I will just suddenly remember the things we used to do together.

Especially in the falls.
At the Aphronus falls.
Is Tristen's story about here is true?

I just did not have a chance to answer my question in my mind when suddenly I felt a warm hand grab my arm.

I even startled a little when Aivan finally hugged me from behind.

I know it's him because of the smell of his perfume which is very masculine and also smells so expensive.

I can smell it and it seems like it's sticking to my nose more now because he's so close to me right now.

I pushed him a little but his hug only got tighter which made me feel a strange warmth.

It feels like I felt safe and I just need to calm myself down.

"Jewel is asleep," he whispered in my ear that made my hair from all of my body to stand up.

"Thank you," I just said here.

After a while, I could barely breathe when he buried his head to my neck.

I badly want to stop him but my body seemed don't want to do even a single move.

"Can you give me a chance?" I feel his breath on my neck causing me to swallow slowly.

"What chance?" I just asked here.

"Let me court you." I was just silent when he said that.

His voice is very calm and gentle.

"May I court you? Let me prove that I do love you." I just shut my mouth when he said that to me.

How is it now?

I already want to scream and shriek here but there is a part of my brain that says I am still mad at him so I should think about this carefully.

"Can I court you, Ms. Amethyst?" he repeated his question to me.

"Yes," I answered and I could feel that he smile.

You're so very nice, Amethyst.

Looks like I am going to eat everything I said before.

What is the matter if I will give him at least one chance, right?

What's wrong if I let an Aivan Warren Flair or better known as Isaac Wesley, the lead vocalist of the famous band Love In Lust will going to court me, right?

Who knows we will be a happy family.

This is also for Jewel if ever.

But it may be also not and I will just going to apologize to Jewel if her father can't pass me and will fail to get my heart.
