CHAPTER 28

AMETHYST'S POV

"Where do you want to go?" Aivan asked me after we entered the mall.

I only told Aivan that we should just go here in Tagaytay, so here we are now.

As I looked around and my eyes noticed something.

Why is there no one except those who work here?
Is it too early yet?
What time does this mall open?
It is already past ten o'clock, huh?

"Just a second, I'll think first," I replied.

We are wearing the simplest outfit that we can. We even had shades, facemask and cap. This was for us to disguise.

Who knows someone will still know me here, right? Or Aivan has rival here.

Three of his men were also with us.


"Let's play in the arcade first," I said and he just lightly nodded.

I've been looking around the whole time but why I can't really see anyone other than those who work here?

Until we got on the elevator as well as when we got into the elevator itself, we were the only ones on board.

I hope my suspicion is not correct. I will be crazy when this is true.

Until we got out of the elevator and we reached the 4th floor there was really no one.

"Aivan, why is there no one here?" I no longer restrained myself from questioning him.

"I rent the whole mall." I just hit my forehead by what he said.

"Are you serious?!" I asked him confusedly. I can't believe this.

"Yes," he replied calmly.

"W-why?" I feel like I'm getting weak and can fall from where I stand at what he did.

"Why not? I don't like queuing and I hate too crowded places." He just shrugged.

"Then I hope we don't go! Oh crap, I don't want to ask how much you rented this and I might just pass out!" I said while I'm shaking my head.

"I just rented it for six hours though. Do you want me to rent it for the whole day?" I just scratched my head at what he said.

"First of all you shouldn't have rented this mall. What kind of reason is that! You're just... Argh! Worse!" I just let out an air from my mouth.

How can I calm down if this is happening to me?! Duhhh, it such huge cost!
If I only knew he will do this, then I only wish he go by himself.

"Can't you refund it?" I just asked here.

"I can't and I won't. Besides, I can't remember when was the last time I've been on a mall." I just sighed.

"You know what? No matter what your reason is, everywhere you look, it's a crazy idea that you did renting the whole mall!" I emphasized but he just seems like he don't care.

We just kept silent for a moment.

"So, if ever that we will take a rides it will be just really the two of us? Or even with your men just in case?" I just asked here.

"Yes," he sparingly replied.

"Even in eating at restos?" He nodded slowly at my question.

"Even the whole cinema?" He nodded slowly again so I just blew a wind again.

"So, that is why you agree that we were just wearing like this?"

"Yes, because I know that you won't like it if you will know that I rent the whole mall." I just firmly closed my eyes because of this.

"Argh! It's up to you! Let's just go! Looks like I can't do anything even if I scold you! You're insane!" I just enter the arcade before him.

In the arcade there is no one else but us and a few who work here.

We are soloing the whole arcade.

We played different games there. I also danced there. I even invited Aivan's to dance with me in 'Just Dance!' but he did not agree. Maybe he doesn't know how to dance.

He just watched me dance.

I also sang in the private videoke room there. But just like earlier, I was the only one who sing.

Aivan seems to enjoy watching me, well I am enjoying this more.

It's been a long time since I've been in an arcade!

After the doing that all at the arcade, we decided to ate first at a restaurant here.

Of course, expensive restaurant as I expected, only five of us were there except for those who work there.

I've eaten a bit a lot since I got tired earlier.

I just asked myself why I can get along with this brutal guy.

Just like what I've said, he's not that intimidating and scary now--- for me.

After we ate, we rested first for about twenty minutes.

After that, I invited him to ice skate and he agreed.

We were only there for twenty minutes because we really don't know how ice skate. Later, we might just get an accident.


Then I just invited him to ride the ferris wheel.

Nothing, the view was just beautiful when we were at the top.

"Let's go to the cinema," I said as we were getting off the ferris wheel.

"Okay," he replied sparingly when we got down completely.

I smiled at him and he was the first to walk to lead the way.

"What can be good to watch?" I just asked as we were looking at the available movies.

"You? You want to watch something?" I looked at him as I slowly ate the popcorn I was holding.

"You decide." My left eyebrow just slightly raised as response.

I just looked back at the movies to choose from.

"That one!" I said while pointing at a horror movie.

"I'm sure it will be beautiful!" I added.

I really love watching horror movies!

Bella and I always do binge watching horror movies way back in high school everytime we have no school and no school works.

"Are you sure?" he asked me. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Aivan.

"Yes, I am! Why? Are you scared?" I looked at him from head to stomach while grinning.

"Let's watch it then." He immediately walked into the cinema.

"What the? Hey, wait for me!" I chased him and I entered the cinema as well.

He was still at the entrance.

We sat in the middle at the same time.

We don't want to be in the front or in the back, so we just sit in the middle.

The movie started and I am enjoying it!

But it is more enjoyable when Aivan is flinching or getting surprise.

Who would have thought? A brutal man is afraid of ghosts!

"What the?! That's scary!" I secretly laughed when we were watching the very scary part.

I am now not watching the movie anymore because I more now enjoying watching Aivan.

I am enjoying his reactions more.

His eyebrows were met as he's watching while eating popcorn and then he was just flinching when he's getting startled.

I, on the other hand, secretly laughing.

I don't know if he knows that I'm now watching him instead of the movie. Given that we were the only two watching.

In the place where we stay, we only watch action movies there.

We don’t watch romances or tragics.

They were just really action movies with a little love story like that.

But the action is really more highlighted.

After the movie nothing seems to have happened to Aivan. He was just quiet again but his aura was not scary.

After the movie we ate again.

"Let's go home?" I asked here while we were here at the restaurant and we also finished eating.

"You already want?" he asked me, too.

"Well, yes. We will have about two hours of traveling due to traffic," I replied.

"Okay." He stood up then he offered his hands to me.
I just looked up at him.

I just sighed before I accepted his hand.

We were just quiet until we came out of the restaurant.

"Come with me," I said here in the middle of our walk heading out of the mall.

"Where?" he asked.

"I want chocolate. I'm craving it," I replied.

"When we just go back there,"

"Okay, thank you!" I just agreed.


UNTIL we are close to the hotel.
But Aivan just said to stop the car.

"Why did we stop?" I asked and I looked outside.

"Oh, okay." I nodded as we stopped at a chocolate stall.

It is the most popular brand of chocolate because of its taste and also it's bit expensive.

He was the first to come out and one of his men opened the door for me.

When we entered the store, Aivan and his two men immediately went to the cashier.

"Let's just wait here, Ms. Amy," one of Aivan's men told me.

"Why?"

"Boss Aivan doesn't want me to tell you the reason, ma'am," he replied so I just rolled my eyes.

"Maybe I can still look around for chocolates, right?" I pointed to the chocolates that were here and he nodded.

I took a walk and looked around at the chocolates while Aivan’s staff was behind me.

Actually, everything here is delicious because it is branded.

I pretended to glance at Aivan and saw that they had left with the cashier earlier and they went straight to a door nearby.

"What are they going to do?" I whispered.

"Can I already take what I like now? Like, can I get a basket?" I looked at Aivan's staff.

"Boss Aivan said that we will just wait for him," he said and shook his head one time so I just frowned.

"The time will just be wasted. Okay. Let's just go around again." I just walked first and looked at the chocolates available here.
For at least later I already know where I was going and what I was going to take later.

Later on, Aivan approached me with uniformed man by their side.

"Hello, Ms. Amethyst. I am Mr. Joshua Cruz, head manager of this store," the man with them said as he held out his hand to me.

Even though I'm confused, I still accepted his handshake.

"W-what is this?" I asked after we let go of each other's hands.

"We will do the legal agreement, ms. Amethyst." I just looked at him with full of confusion.

"Legal agreement? For what?"
What is this manager saying? I'm not going to apply, huh?

"Mr. Aivan Warren wants to buy this outlet of us. He already directly talked to our ceo and our ceo agreed to let mr. Aivan buy this branch." I just dropped my jaw at what he said.

He presented me with a document.

"All we need is your signature. Mr. Aivan will name this store after you. You will be the new owner of this outlet."

It's like if I'm going to fall from where I stand because of what Mr. Cruz stated.


What?! Is this crazy Aivan serious about this?

I only want five boxes of chocolate! Not an entire branch or stall!
