CHAPTER 44

AMETHYST'S POV

Wait, hold up.
Who is this child?
Why am I feeling this way now that I looked at her intently?
Why do I want to run towards her and hug her so tightly while kissing her face?

The young girl just turned her attention back to her doll toy.

She was just gently playing with it while she was sitting on the sofa when suddenly she's grabbing something from her behind.

I just stare at what she was doing.

After a while, she was already holding a pair of scissors.

Scissors?

I was about to stop her because it's dangerous for a child like her to hold a scissors but I just got stuck in my position by seeing at what she was doing with it.


That barbie's hair! She's cutting it!

When the doll was about to go bald, she next cut the dress of her barbie!

My jaw just drop and can't believe what I'm seeing when she was already cutting her barbie itself!

She's choping it up!

I think I got more thirsty at what I saw so I just swallowed one after another.

I'm thinking who are her parents?

She's just a kid but then again she was already brutal!

That's scary!

I was even startled when the girl just threw the scissors she was holding somewhere here. Darn! That is too dangerous!

The next thing she did was she must lean her back on the sofa and then she closed her eyes.

The woman just looked at her once and then immediately returned her attention to her phone.

What the huh?

That was just normal for her?

I just returned my eyes to the young girl and I just can't help it but to smiled when I saw her face.

She's just so cute! She's like an angel.

Her eyelashes were long! You can say that she may become one of the famous stars in the future!

You wouldn't think that she could do the thing she just did earlier by her lovely face.

I badly want to approach her to squeeze her cheeks as well as her lower lip because of its red color.

I returned my gaze to the woman and then stared at her intently.

I narrowed my eyes to search from my memory bank for who this girl was. She's very familiar and I know I already saw her one time.

My eyes widened when I remembered who she was.

She's one of those girls!

She's one of the girls I went with on Aivan with his friends' vacation!
In Tristen's town house!

I slowly covered my mouth when I remembered who was with her then!

She was with Tristen then!

If I'm not mistaken, her name is Arianna.

I already asked her before when we were there.

Even though it was almost seven years ago, I still remember her because there are times that my memory becoming sharp for people.

But, I'm wondering here what is she doing here?

I also asked a woman back then there, but sadly I already forgot what is her name was.
But one thing that I remembered about her was, she have a black beauty. As in, she is so beautiful. She's like a goddess with her brown foxy eyes. Those are things that I just remembered about that other girl then


Well, everyone is beautiful, tho. Some are just standing out from others but we are all beautiful.

I just cleared my throat first to get the attention of this woman.


"Hi! Y-you seem familiar," I said in a shy voice.

She looked up at me and just smiled at me a little.
"Wow, glad you still remember me," she just said.

I laughed awkwardly. You can feel tha her aura is so strong! Her resting face is like saying: Shoo, get lost here!

Although, right now her eyes are smiling--- just a little.

"A-Arianna, right?" I just asked here.

She just smiled a little again and then nodded twice.

"Glad to see you again, Amethyst," she greeted.

"Me too." I even laughed shyly and then we went silent again.

"Y-your daughter?" I asked here while slowly pointing at the young girl.

"Nope," she answered while shaking her head.

I just nodded my head because of this.
I don't want to ask if Tristen is still with her. That's awkward and inappropriate I think.

"W-what are you doing here?" I don't know where I got the courage to asked her about this. She just have something that you will feel unease!

"Her father asked me to look after her." She looked at the girl for just a moment whose eyes were now open.

My chest just got beating very fast like that when the young girl also stared at me.

It's just the way she looked at me. Those deep eyes of here. They also have no emotions like her lovely face.

How come that at that age she can already create an intimidating aura.

Impressive and also I don't know.

I even swallowed when she looked at me from head to toe.

"I can't believe it's you," she said sarcastically, which made my forehead to furrowed.

What is this kid saying?

But her tone earlier when she said that?
Oh my! I didn't like it!

I want to put her on a sack and beat her! She should not be like that!

That's not nice!

I just stared at her but I didn't get an answer.

After a few seconds, she got off the sofa and slowly walked towards me.

"I can't believe that I'm more beautiful than my mom," she said when she got a little closer to me.

"Jewel, I said respect your mom." It seemed like I was just got stuck from where I was standing when I heard who those words came from. That familiar voice from my past!

I swallowed hard before slowly turning on my back.

I just took a step back when I saw him.

Isaac?

He was standing by the door.

I turned to this young girl here again and she did only then roll her eyes.

She's really asfast!

I can really put her on a sack even though we just met! She will see!

But why did I hear that it was Aivan earlier?

Wait, what's going on?

What does that 'mom' mean?

Why did Isaac say that to the girl for me?

I'm so confused!

My eyes just shifting to my three persons I'm with right now.

They are all just stared at me intently, too.

After a few seconds, this Isaac just stepped closer to us.

He stopped when we were only a few steps away from each other.

He just stares at me intently.

I know there is nothing you can see on my face now but confusion.

What the freak is going on?!

This Isaac sighed a little before he held his masquerade.

Oh my! Oh my! I am going to see his whole face!

It seems that the surroundings got slow as he slowly removes his mask.

My lips just got parted slightly when his face was revealed to me.

W-why does he look like... Aivan?

"W-who are you really?" I just muttered weakly.

Then after a few more seconds, he just placed one of his hands on the front of his left eye.
Then, he also do the same on his right eye.

When he removed his hand from his face, his eyes were closed as he extended his hand to me.

I looked at what was in his palm and my mouth just dropped even more when I saw two contact lenses there.

I just swallowed before I looked up again.

I still couldn't see the color of his eyes because they were still closed.

I can really see Aivan in him.

After a while, he was slowly opening his eyes.

It seemed that I would be deafened by the fast and loud pounding of my chest when I caught those blue eyes.

I just backed off because of this.

It was really Aivan!

Wait? Aivan and Isaac are just the same?!

Everything now is a mess!

It was as if I was just pinned to where I was standing while those blue eyes stared at me without emotion.

I am feeling mixed emotions right now! But fear and annoyance dominate me!

I am afraid of the possible things that may happen! And I'm upset if something will really happen!

I'm also afraid that he may have found out about our child! And how she got kidnapped.

Our child?

Is it possible?!

I immediately looked at the girl we were with now.

She was just sitting on the sofa again.

She folded her arms while just staring intently at us.

When I looked back at Aivan, he gently nodded at me once.

"H-how did that happen?" my voice was full of confusion.

What if he's just lying?

What if he just wants me back with him?

"What do you mean?" he also asked me.

"Y-you know we have a child?"

"What do you think my money and power can do?" His jaw even got tightened.

I suddenly got nervous when I thought that he might be mad at me because I hid him from our daughter.

Why would he waste time and money on me when our deal was already over? This was what I had in my mind before. I didn't expect that he will sent someone to look after me.

"Wait, wait! I'm really confused! Give me a moment! Please explain everything!" I feel any moment now I will cry because of the confusion of what was happening.

He sighed first and then put his hands in his pockets.

"Where do you want me to start?" he asked immediately.

"Since the end of our deal," I answered.

"That would be a very long story. It will take some time." I just blew out an air by what he said.

I can't bear to see him for another minute and then he will morentell stories?!

But I still want to know the answer to my question.

I have so many questions in my mind right now.

And I want a clear answers for all my questions!

"Alright, uhm what." I stopped talking before swallowing.

This is really the important thing that I should know first.

"How can I be sure that she is my daughter? How come she is my daughter?"

"Our daughter," he corrected but I just turned my eyes to the child.

After a while, he just also turned to the child.

"Show the picture, Jewel," he just said.

The girl just reached for the small back pack next to her and then searched something in it.

When her hand came out of the bag, she was holding a paper that was facing her.

She just threw her bag next to her before walking towards me.

"You have a picture with our daughter when you gave birth to her, right?" I immediately opened my bag to search for my wallet.

My heart is beating so fast now.

I always carry a photo of my daughter and I everywhere. It's just in my wallet so I always have my wallet with me.

After I took out my wallet, I immediately opened it and then took the photo stuck in the front of my wallet.

When the girl got close to me, she immediately presented the photo she was holding.

I took it and shakily compared the photo I was holding to the photo from the child.

They are exactly the same!

My tears started to fall and I quickly knelt on the floor so that my daughter and I will be on the same level.

I hugged her tightly while kissing her hair and cheeks.

This kind of feeling.

It is so precious. All my longings have been answered. I feel relieved.

"Stop crying, you look stupid and weak," she said in the middle of our hugged so I just squeezed his arms a little.

I broke away from our embrace and immediately looked at her.

"I'm just so happy, honey. I'm so happy that I just started crying." I smiled at her sweetly but she just shook her head.

She just moaned when I lightly pinched her arm.

"I love you even though you're not that nice kid. But you need good manners in your body, honey." I smiled sweetly at her again but she just pouted her lips.

I can't accept her behavior like this.
Maybe I'll sack her by myself.

"We can do a DNA test if you still want to." I heard Aivan say.

Oh, yeah right, we have someone with us. I forgot about them when my daughter and I hugged.

But suddenly I felt angry.

"Why did you hide my daughter from me?!" I stood up and immediately rushed to him.

When I approached him, I immediately gave him a strong slap that made him tilt his head. I immediately felt Arianna's hands on my arm and pulled me away from Aivan.


"But, you're the first one who hides our daughter," he said calmly while he's holding his cheek that I slapped.

I just got quiet because of this.
But, after a while, I get engaged again.

"For only nine months! I was just pregnant then! But, you? You had her for years I don't know but why didn't you tell me?! Tell me! How many years have you had Jewel?! "

He looked down slightly before answering, "S-six years."

She found my daughter but she did not tell me?!
I'm ready to attack him again by what he said but Arianna just weaned me.

"See?! See?! You let me suffer from longing my daughter!" I even pointed him with my finger.

"If you only told me that you were pregnant then maybe that wouldn't happen!"

"There's no reason for you to know about my pregnancy! My child doesn't deserve you!"

"Yes, there's a reason and that is I am responsible for you!" I was just went silent when he said that.

"I should be the one who took care of you! We should be together taking care of our daughter!" I was just stunned by what Aivan said.

I simply looked at my daughter and saw her sitting on the sofa again. Her head is slightly bowed.

I couldn't see her face because it was covered by her hair.

"I'll text you an address later. Let's meet there if you want to talk to me." I looked again at Aivan but he had turned his back on us.

Jewel immediately got off the sofa and she ran to approach him.

Aivan picked her up when she got near him.

He kissed her on her forehead before putting her down again.

He whispered something here and the girl just slowly nodded.

After a while, Aivan walked away again.
He stopped when he opened the door.

"Have a good time with our daughter tonight. Introduce her to her mother's side," he said and left the room.

Jewel approached me crouching down and then reached out for my hand.

I just smiled because of this.

Nothing is important now than my daughter.

I'm so excited to introduce her to my family, our family.
