CHAPTER 29

AMETHYST'S POV

When I woke up, it was as usual that Aivan was no longer beside me.

That's why I just did my normal routine here.

I get up and get ready to eat.

After I ate, I just put away the dishes and washed them.

I went to the living room and then I looked for a movie to watch.

"Dang this, there is nothing good to watch here," I said annoyingly while searching for movie recommendations on the internet.
I just blew out a wind.

"Why would I search for a movie if a series can also do?" I think I'm going crazy here.

I just chose to watch the anime series Fairy Tail.

I searched more about it and it turned out that this has 328 all in all episodes.

Nineteen to twenty one minutes long per episode.

So, during my stay here with Aivan, I might have a few more anime.

I remembered that this was one of my favorite when I was a kid.
I didn't expect to be able to watch the whole thing someday.

But honestly, I don’t know what should I feel.
Will I be happy because I look like a queen now but, I can't get out or do anything, tho.
I really want to take a break before, but not this kind of break, plus this is so long. I really miss my family.

I just gasped in the middle of my watching.

It doesn't matter, it's only more than two weeks and I'll be free from Aivan.

I picked up the remote next to me and then I paused what I was watching.

"I'll call Bella first," I said as I am dialing her number on my cell phone.
I put my phone on my ear when it rang.

"Hey, twin, how are you? How come you called?" Bella immediately greeted me from the other line.

"I'm just pretty fine. How about you?" I replied here.

"I'm just okay, too,"

"Are you busy?" I just asked her immediately.

"Well, later. It's our break time right now. Why?" she answered.

"I just need someone to talk to," I said and took a deep breath.

"Is popsie hottie there?"
I didn’t answer because I thought I wasn’t the one she was asking.

"Twin, hey!" she screamed a bit from the other line so I put away my phone slightly from my ear.

"Who's that popsie hottie you're talking about?" I just asked her.

"Haler, you're trying to be a fool, huh. Probably it is him, what is his name again?"

"Aivan?"

"Yes! Yes, it's Aivan." I even heard her snapped her fingers from the other line.

"The madman is at work," I simply answered her question.

"What a handsome and hot madman he is, twin,"

"I don't know about you, twin!" I just heard her laughter from the other line.
She really enjoys when she bullies me.

"What are you doing now?" she just asked me after her laughter vanished.

"Talking to you now,"

"Fix your answer or I'll hang you up, you wiyatch." I was the one who laughed because she got annoyed at me.

"Nothing, I'm not doing anything here. I'm just binge watching. But I work out every afternoon,"

"Oh wow. Hope all is queen like you,"

"Crazy, I didn't know that I'll be bored here. I want to be with my family," I said with a sigh.

"Oh yeah,"

"Oh, twin, I have to tell you something," I just said here.

"Oh, really? Great! Spill the tea!" suddenly her tone became more alive.

“There you are, as long as it is a gossip you becomes more active,” I pretend that I'm being sarcastic.

"Hey, no, huh! I just know that when you have a gossip it has a sense so I'm getting interested," she defended.

"Okay. So, this is it." I cleared my throat first.

"Oh, what's that?"

"This was mind blowing, twin! This can make you crazy as in!" I frowned even she can't see it.

"What really is it? You better hurry, you silly,"

"Yesterday Aivan and I go out,"

" A date?" I looked up because of her question.

"Likely? Maybe? Somewhat? I don't know! I consider it as not, tho," I replied here.

"Okay, okay, I get it. Oh, what happened?" she asked me.

"We went to a mall. The shocking part? He rented the whole mall! As in!"

"Woah! Why you didn't invited me?!"

"I didn't know he will rent it! We even disguised ourselves! As in! People working there, Aivan's three staff and the only two of us were in the mall!"

"Shops, cinemas, arcades, rides, restaurants and as in everything! We are the only customers!" I added.

"Woah, so Aivan was really that powerful and rich. It's indeed scary if you messed up with him. Even if I spend the rest of my life saving money to do what he did, I still can't do it." I could feel Bella's long snout because of the tone of her speech.

"Me too. But there is a part two, twin,"

"Luh, what? He rented a city?"

"Silly!" I heard her laughter so I just laughed, too.

"Oh, what it is?" she asked as her laughter subsided.

"I just wanted to buy some boxes of chocolates. You know what he did? He wanted to buy a whole shop for me?!"

"Wooow! You accepted? You can now give me chocolates for free!"

"Silly, of course I didn't accept it. Maybe then Aivan will chase something from me? I really want to get rid of him, I know you know that,"

"Oh yeah, you're right," she said softly.

"And then what's that? He's my instant sugar daddy?" She laughed at what I said.

"Why don't you thank him?" I frowned at her question.

"Thank him? How? Come on, he can afford anything and get all what he wants anytime," I replied.

"Why? Can he buy you? As in property like there are paper contracts? There has nothing, right?" Huh, what? What she said is confusing.

"What do you mean?" I frowned in confusion.

"Make him happy like that." My eyes widened because of what she said.

"Twin! What kind of suggestion is that!"

"Of course it's just a joke. If you don't have anything to buy or exchange for him, then there's nothing. Maybe Aivan isn't asking for a exchange, tho." I just leaned on the sofa and sighed.

"Or try cook for him like that," she added.

"That's like a wifey thingy, twin,"

"Oh, wow. We're a bit high, sis, huh?"

"You're crazy. You know what I mean. Don't you? He might think that I'm okay with him like that,"

"Oh, not yet?"

"Hey, twin!"

"'No, just kidding. You, huh! Why you're hot tempered, huh?"

"Eh, you acted like a crazy!"

"Just a joke. Why did you act like I'm others for you, huh? Anyways, I know you're stressed right now and you might need a different smell like that." She has changed our topic.


"What do you mean?" I even tilted my head even though she couldn't see it.

"Nice fragrance like that." I just rolled my eyes. I already know what she means.

"Tell me what product is that?"

"Scented candles like that." I knew it.

"Is it effective?" I assured here.

"Of course! Choose the ones that look like for meditation. They also have different flavors." I just nodded at what she said.
I know she's just a concern friend.

"When are you using it?" I just asked here.

"In bed time like that," she replied.

"Alright I'll try to find one tomorrow. Thanks,"

"You're welcome! Anyways, twin, I'm sorry I have to go. Our break time is about to end,"

"All right, all right. Thank you! I'm sorry too and I disturbed you,"

"You're crazy! How many times should I tell you that you're not a disturbance to me!" I just laughed and smiled at what she said.

"Alright. Thank you again. I'll treat you next time,"

"Okay! Okay! I like what you said!" I just combed my hair with my fingers


"All right, bal. Thank you again. Bye!"

"Byeee!" She was the one who hang up our call.

I then put my phone beside me and get the remote control.

I just pressed the play button and watched anime again.

I was still lazy to buy what Bella have said. I'll just buy it next time.

When Aivan came back in the evening, after we ate, I just invited him to watch the Fairy Tail I'm watching and he agreed.

Before I went to sleep, something went through my mind.

I think tomorrow will be a pik pak boom boom day. Every three days isn't it?

Hey, wait? Why do I look like I'm getting ready? Like you know? Am I really used to what Aivan is doing to me?

THE next day the same thing still happened to me.

I just watched anime the whole day!

I stop watching at six pm.

But, I was still here on the sofa and thinking if I should cook for Aivan or not.

"No. I will just cook for myself. I'll just let him taste what will I cook," I said to myself.

I want to change what we eat---What I'm eating here, I mean.
Because we only eat take outs from restos.

Yes, it's still delicious. But, homemade dish hits very different.

So, I decided to cook.

I then decided to go in the kitchen and start looking for something to cook in the refrigerator.

"Okay, I'll cook this." I took the whole chicken out of the freezer.

I also checked if I had any ingredients available.

I just smiled when I was ready and completed the ingredients I was going to use for my cooking.
Yes, I will cook adobo. A very Filipino dish.

"YOU cooked this?" Aivan asked as I landed the adobo that I have cooked on the table.

"Yes, I did! Why? Don't I look like I can cook?" I answered and asked here while putting utensils on the table.

He is already sitting while I am serving him.
Serving him?
Oh, yeah, by the way, I'm really here to be his maid so I think I have no right to complain.

He was the one who put the amount of rice and dish on his own plate when I sat down.
I also did the same. I waited for him to try it first.

"What's the taste? It's okay, isn't it?" I asked to him when he take a spoon of it. I know it's delicious but maybe Aivan has a different taste when it comes to foods.

"Yes, it's delicious. Also, I like the tinge of spice," he replied after he swallowed the food.
He nodded after another bite.
Yes, indeed, I put some chili in it.

I want my food to be a bit spicy--- if possible. But I don't like too much spicy foods.

I raised my eyebrow for a moment while smiling before I also eat.



WE WERE WATCHING anime while we were here in the room.

We were both just leaning against the headboard of the bed.

I don't know but I'm just getting ready in case this Aivan grabs me.

But six episodes has been passed but he was not doing anything.

I didn't help myself but to looked at him and I was surprised because he was already asleep.

He fell asleep even sitting and just leaning on the headboard. Maybe he's too tired.

I just lie him down in a comfortable position and then I cover his lower half body on the comforter.

I couldn’t stop myself from caressing his smooth face.

But I also immediately take back my hand and shook my head.

"What did I do?" I asked myself.

I just turned off what we were watching and then I got ready to go to sleep.

I'm already sleepy too, tho.

I stared at the ceiling as I lay down.

I turned my body towards Aivan and his half-closed eyes is what I saw first.

Then he totally closed his eyes and smiles a little.

My face got a bit backward because of this.

"What is his problem?" I speak weakly.

I just turned my back on him because my heartbeat seemed changed.

That's weird.
