CHAPTER 42

AMETHYST'S POV

It's been three nights since Crystal told me that someone was going to help us. That day was one of the happiest day of our lives. We know mama will do everything do fight and wins against her illness.

Three night later, but I'm just now going to research about the group Crystal said.

After I took a bath, I went up to the top of my bed.

I turned to Bella and she was already asleep.

Because tomorrow her shift is early, that is why we won't be together again in work.

I took my phone from the top of the side table along with my earphones.

After I connected my earphones to my phone, I immediately put them in my ears.

Let's see what this L. i. L band have. Let's see if they will catch my taste.
Just kidding.

But I still can't believe at their band's name. Is there no chance that they will change that or at least plan to? You know what I mean.

I opened my phone and searched for the band Love In Lust in social media.

I finished watching five videos of them singing and preforming, and I can say they are really good.

Their voices are so manly and soothing, especially the Isaac that Crystal is talking about, well given that he is the lead vocalist.
But, maybe if I become their fan, my bias will be him, Isaac. Not because he will help us, but for me he stand out among them.

But I'm just wondering.
In all their performances that I watched, there was always something blocking their faces.
But even if their faces are covered, they just look more handsome, appealing and cool.

They just got stronger.

I searched for pictures of them more in the internet, but all of them still have their faces something covering.

Their faces are not completely covered.
Sometimes you can see their lips, or one eye or two of their eyes.

Even if I will edit their pictures and try to see what they looked like, I still can't see their whole faces because their noses are always covered.

But I can only say one thing, their brown eyes are beautiful. I saw a lot of close up pictures of them and their brown eyes are just so!!! It can make you melt once they stare at you for a long time!

Imagine if you saw them in person and they looked at you intently. Oh my! You will scream and squeak because of intimidation and thrillingness.


I even took their names and put them in my notes so that I can start to remember them.

Isaac Wesley is their main vocalist.
The drummer's name is Draco. This is probably Crystal's bias. He was the only one that name is starting in letter D in their band, tho.

Their rhythm guitarist is named Kent.
Then their bassist's name is Onyx.
And lastly, Tim is the name of their keyboardist or pianist.

I have heard all their voices because sometimes they do second voice to Isaac or have a mini solo part and it was not easy to pic for a bias! It's like you will just love them all!

But, this Isaac has something that made me like him--- bias among their band.

I searched for their interviews but I couldn't find anything and that surprised me.

Given that they are already famous, why don't they have an interview yet with any host? They even haven't been a guest in any shows.

Why is that?

They have almost ten million subscribers.

Ten million is a lot for a band that just started, they're only three months old to be exact--- according to Crystal which was supported by my research about them.

Well, maybe I shouldn't be surprised because their voices and charisma are given, tho. They are cool for boys and girls will love them.

After a while, a crazy idea entered my mind.

I typed it on my phone but I couldn't hit the search button.

I am not really sure about what I was going to do.

But, come on, I'm just really curious. But, actually I feel like I'm already terrible.

What I want to do?

Well, I am just going to search for their topless pics.

I'm just curious, I promise.
Come on.

I don't know where I got the courage to hit the search button.

My eyes just widened and I swallowed one after another because some sexy photos of them came out.

They all have something in their stomach! Abs! They are all eight!
No one has more abs or fewer in number! They all have eight 'pandesals' on their stomachs!

They are only three months old, huh?

What more in the near future and they get to know by others more?

Is it possible for them to get one hundred million followers in the future?

Maybe one of their strong points is the songs they sing. Because their genre is Pop-Rock, so it seemed like it was a bit teeny. Well, all types ages like them already since that was what I observed at my researching.

Well, given that young people now love the internet that's why they have so many subscribers. Teens have big influence in terms of social media that's why they are being promoted at differeng social media platforms with the help of the teenagers.

Even some artists idolize them.

Maybe what I found out right now was already enough for now.

I turned off my phone and removed my headphones from my ears.

I put them on my side table and then I made my bed.

I didn't call mom now anymore because I also called them earlier in morning and also I'm sure tha Crystal is sleeping soundly now.

I'm excited to go home and take care of mom.

Fortunately, our handler agreed to cancel my contract extension. I also want to meet Isaac Wesley in person when I get home so I can thank him properly--- and ask for an autograph from him and his band if possible.

Well, I guess I'm one of their fans now.

"I'm so excited to go home, twiiin!" I giggled as we got closer and closer to our plane.

"Me too!" Bella even held my hand and squeezed it slightly.

Trev is also coming home with us.

I am so happy for these two because they are still staying strong.

In fact, these two are already engaged and plan to get married next year.

When we got inside the plane, my chest pounded like a wild zoo as I approached our seat. I'm just so excited! I can't wait to be with my family again!

I just sighed before smiling when we finally sat down.

"This is it," I said weakly.

"Sister, here!" That's when I felt so much happiness and excitement when I heard that familiar voice.

I looked to my right and that's where my smile grew when I saw Crystal still waving at me.

I walked and ran to get closer to them as I bit my lower lip.

When I finally got close to Crystal, she immediately hugged me and I hugged her back.

After we broke the hug, I faced uncle Arnaldo and then I do the 'mano' to him.

They were the only two who picked me up.

I just forced myself to smile because mom is not here now.

Too bad she wasn't with them today to pick me up.

She is now lying in a hospital bed and recovering. I hope she will be better very soon.

I said goodbye to Bella and Trev first and we had a good conversation before finally going our separate ways.

Even though I really want to go straight to the hospital, I have to rest for a while and organize my things somehow.

So the ending is that we just got home first.

I will only rest for a few hours and then I will go to mom. I want to see her already.

I also plan to talk to Isaac later even if it's just on the phone--- if possible. Well, given he is a famous one, he might have a hard time to talk to me since he is too busy.

During my last three months in France, I was busy so I didn't have a chance to talk to them and that is why Crystal was just the one who was talking to them back then.

Isaac himself was not the one who was talking to them and Crystal has never talked to him just even once even just in phone, even in seeing and meeting him in person, she still hasn't.

Crystal always only talks to Isaac's personal assistant, sometimes Isaac's lawyer or doctor who also helps in monitoring mom.

I hope I can force Isaac to meet me so that I thank him personally.

When mom saw me, she tried to get up so we immediately approached her.

When I got close to her, she immediately hugged me and so I did.

I can feel mama's shoulders were shaking as she hugged me.

"I-I miss so much, honey. I miss you," mom said in the middle of our hug.

"I miss you so much, too, ma." I couldn't stop myself from crying.

Mom reached my head and then kissed it.

We loosened our hug but mom immediately grabbed my face.

"Thank you, honey, thank you and you're already here," mom said immediately, crying but with a smile on her face.

I just returned it with a smile while nodding.

Mama is no longer in an isolated room, she was moved to her new room here at the hospital last month.

Actually, by the next two weeks she can already be discharge and we can already go home.

Aside for the check ups, mom's chemo should be continuous, too as well. That's why we will still need come back to the hospital at least two to three times a week.

I am so excited that mom was finally getting better. And by that we were able to go outing.

"What, sis, are you really the only one who's going to talk to?" Crystal asked me as she held out her phone to me.

Because, I want to talk to Isaac and aske him if we can meet. I just hope he agrees even though they are busy.

"Yes, it will be just me." I took the phone from Crystal.

"But let's expect it, sis." I furrowed my forehead because of what she said.

"Where? That Isaac won't agree to do meet up with me?" She just shook her head at what I asked.

"Except for that. Maybe the only person you can talk to is his assistant." Her face crumpled even more.

"You have never been actually talked to Isaac?" I curiously asked here.

She shook her head and even rolled her eyes. I just shook my head because of this.

"That's okay, as long as I can invite him." I pressed the call button on Crystal's phone.

When it rang, I immediately put it on loud speaker.

"Yes, hello?" Crystal's face immediately crumpled when the person on the other line spoke.

I think I know the reason.

"H-hi, hello! I'm Amethyst, Amethyst Ashe Martinez. I'm also a daughter of Jona Martinez," I said nervously.

"Oh, okay, okay. Yes, how can I help you?" he asked in a calm voice so I also got calm.

I exhaled slowly first before asking.

"Is Isaac there?"

"Oh, sadly, they are not here yet, ms. They're still inside the studio, doing pictorials," he replied.

Like what I expected. This is why Crystal's face was crumpled earlier, it's Isaac's assistant I'm talking to right now.

I nodded even though the one I'm talking to can not see me.

"Can I ask why do you want to meet him?" he just asked after a few moments.

"I-I would like to meet him, sir. I would like to thank him personally, sir, if he is free?" I don't know where I got the courage to asked this.

Given that he is a busy and famous person, I still managed to ask him out.

"I'm not sure, ms. I'll ask him. Because their schedule is full for the next two weeks." Crystal's pouted very long when she heard that.

"A-ah, is that so? O-okay, sir, thank you so much," I said politely.

"Don't worry, I'll just tell him about this later. I'll just call you no matter what he decides," the man simply said.

Suddenly, Crystal become alive at what she heard. She is even more excited than me.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you so much!"

"No worries. I'm sorry but I gotta go. They already needing me there,"

"Okay, sir. Thank you again!"

"Bye,"

"Bye!" I just said and he ended the call.

In the evening, Crystal and I were eating grapes next to mom when her phone suddenly rang.

She quickly looked at it and immediately patted my shoulder for few times when she saw what was at the screen of her phone.

"Oh, who is that?" I even furrowed my forehead as I asked this and looking at her.


She swallowed the grape she was eating first before answering me, "It's Isaac's assistant!"

"He might say that Issac can't do it," I took the lead, causing my sister's face to crumple.

Mom was just looking at us while smiling.

She still just answered the call and then pressed the loud speaker before putting it close to me.

"Hello, sir?" I immediately asked here.

"Hello. I already told Sir Isaac." We did not react to what the man said, he is Mr. John.

"Oh, is that so? What did he said, sir?" I asked nervously.

"He said he can do it. He is willing to meet up with you."
Crystal seemed to want to celebrate at what she heard because of her soundless stomping.

Because, Sir John knows that he was only one talking to me and no one else could hear us.

"Wow, that's great! Thank you, sir! When is it?" I asked excitedly.

"You can immediately meet him up tomorrow," he answered and Crystal just covered her mouth when she heard that, she's trying herself to calm down and not to make any noise.

"Okay, okay. Thank you, sir!"

"But Sir Isaac has something to say." We stopped from celebrating when the man said that. Oh my, it has consequences.

"W-what is it, sir?"

"You should just go by yourself. That means, you will not bring anyone with you." Crystal's shoulders just dropped when she heard that and her pout just got longer.

"Maybe I can go at least with my sister? I promise I will only bring her with me and no one else then,"

"It's better if we just follow what Sir Isaac said." I just covered my mouth at Sir John's answer.

"N-noted, sir. Thank you for granting my favor, sir!" I just said energetically.

"No problem. I'll just text you tomorrow for the address and what time you'll meet. But it's more likely to be in the afternoon since they have another photo shoot for tomorrow at morning,"

"Oh, it's okay. Alright, I'll just wait for your text messages, sir. Thank you again, sir!" I even nodded as I said that though he couldn't see me.

"Okay, bye,"

"Bye." After a few seconds, the call just ended.

I just looked at Crystal and you can still see disappointment on her face.

I just shrugged my shoulders when she looked at me.

"We can't do anything, I'll just try to talk to him and ask him if I can take you next time with me." She just slowly nodded to what I said while her snout was still pointed.

I immediately took a shower and got ready when Sir John texted us.

It's already four in the afternoon and Isaac and I are supposed to meet up at five o'clock and Mr. John also texted that I'll just text him when I'm done dressing before he gives the address.

In my panic, I didn't think about what to wear. The choice of what I wear is random and luckily I'm lucky. I didn't prepare yesterday because we already thought that our meet up might be get canceled anytime because Isaac is so busy. We don't want to get disappointed.

It's a shame if I will be late.

I should be there ten minutes before five! Even fifteen minutes if possible!

I am wearing a white wool top, a beige mini skirt and beige high knee boots.

I just applied light make up and I'm already fine.

I just let my hair fall down that reached until the below of my chest.
My hair has color from my nape downward and it is color blonde.

My sling bag is light brown in color.
Wait, there's still something missing. I panicked and grabbed any accessories. I first looked at what it was.

A shades?!

I just put it in my sling bag.

I don't know if I am going to wear this later or not.

I got ready and immediately left my room.

I found Crystal sitting in the living room downstairs with a frown on her face.

She is also dressed up but she will not go with me.

She will only leave the house together with me but she's going to the hospital.

"You're so sexy in that outfit, sis," she said, making me laugh.

"Thank you! Come on, Don't be sad right there! You'll also see the L.i.L band soon! I'll ask Isaac for help later," I said while laughing a little.

"You are sure, huh?"

"Actually, not really." She just stomps because of what I said.

"But, who knows? I'll try my best." She just snob me with what I said.

"Let's just go!" she just presented she's still stomping as she walks ahead of me so I just shaked my head.

We just took a taxi because uncle Arnaldo wasn't here because he was looking over mom now.

I just texted Sir John and he immediately replied to me. I already gave my number to him earlier.

"Sir, do you know this?" I asked the driver and then showed my phone so he could read the address.

"Yes, I know that." The driver just nodded twice.

"Alright, can you take me here after we go to the hospital?"

"Yes, ma'am." The man just smiled at me and I just nodded.

When I adjusted my seat, Crystal approached me. "Can I take a look, sis?"

I just nodded then I showed her the address and she just nodded few times.

"Do you know where this is?"

"Nope." My face just crumpled at her answer.

I thought she knew.

But, I am wondering here what does Isaac look like up close?
Can I let him show me his whole face?

I also hope he will likes this special chocolate cake that Crystal and I made earlier.
