Chapter 13

There was a flash of light, someone I recongised appeared in front of me, but I didn't know this person. She looked at me, right into my eyes as though she was seeing into my soul and I watched as she did so, it was like I was stuck. I heard something, then Flame appeared, which didn't make sense. Flame is in me, I don't tend to actually see her. She was floating around her eyes shut and her tongue hanging out of her mouth.

"Flame." I shouted, but she didn't wake, she just floated further and further from me.

"She can't hear you. You are apart from her, she is just floating around." The woman said. That voice, that voice was so familiar but I couldn't place her.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Lucinda cast a spell on you, but I don't believe it was supposed to be this severe, the spell detached Flame from you and left her floating, but the good news is she is still alive." The woman said, why couldn't I place her?
"How do I stop it?" I asked.
"Well you firstly need to wake up, then we can sort that." She said.
"We?" I didn't know this woman, how can she help me. The woman drew in a deep breath, she slowly turned to face me.

I gasped.

"You, you're the Queen." She nodded.
"I am, and I am in your dream."
"Why?" I asked.
"We are both gold wolves, and there is only three of us left." I came to a realisation. Mum was also one.
"My mum is also one."
"Yes." Oh my god.
"Are we related?" I asked, it was the only thing that made sense, three gold wolves left, surely it has to be genetic.

The Queen looked at me, right into my eyes as though she was seeing into my soul. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Someone is going to find you when you wake, don't be scared. He will explain everything that I can't." She said, it was confusing, why couldn't she just answer my question.
"Why can't you answer me?" I asked.
"Because, you're dreaming. You will not remember this. Just remember not to be scared." The woman slowly started to disappear until she was no longer there, then the world I was in started to disappear as well, the light was going dark and I could no longer see Flame.

Then it all changed, I could hear again, but what I heard wasn't good.

Alarms, beeping. I could hear it all, people rushing around, I could feel teh wind of them running by me.

"What's happening?" Someone shouted, their voice quivering.
"I'm not sure, nurse get these people out here. She's crashing." The alarms kept whaling, and I tried and I tried to open my eyes, but I felt like there had been concrete poured onto them.

My shirt was ripped open, something was put on my chest, how was my heart stopping but my mind was so awake?

"We need to get clear, now!" Someone shouted.
I felt the electricity hit my heart, and it fucking hurt. But the alarms didn't stop.
"Again!" They shouted. The electricity once again hit my heart, but thats not all it did. It awakened something in me. Something that laid dormant in me. My hands shot outwards with power, I felt myself life out of the bed and twirl in the air, it was like I was coming back to life.

"That's because you are." A voice said, she's back.
"How, what?"
"You had to nearly die for me to come back." Flame told me.
"I'm assuming you used something to make that happen."
"Maybe."
"Bitch, nearly killing me." She laughed.

My body settled back on the bed, and everyone came in crying, no one knew what had happened.

My eyes opened slowly, the cement had melted and I could see again, Max was there and so were my parents. They were all puffy eyed.

"Were you guys scared?" My croaky ass voice said.
"No." Max said back.
"Well, you should've been!" He laughed and kissed me.
"I swear to god, you do that again I'll stop your heart again!" He said.
"Deal."
