Chapter 25

The images of the creature didn't disappear. It mouth became bloody and my clothes got socked with blood.
"Stop!" I yelled but it just smiled.
it came really close and I could feel its breath. Sam's voice was calling me to order but I couldn't go back to reality. I was stuck and it was scaring me out.
I looked at my moon pendant I had always had ever since I was a child. I prayed to her and I felt something strange in my body. it was overwhelming. I saw a spark of light. it was really really bright and the next thing I saw was the creature been torn into pieces.

That was when I came back into reality and saw Sam shaking me.
"Thank God you are back." He hugged me.
I grabbed my pendant and kissed it several times.
"What's wrong?" Sam asked.
"It saved me." I said.
Sam looked at Payne confused as to what I've said.
"I saw an ugly creature this time. it was really ugly and pale." I explained.
"Did it have fangs?" He asked
"Yes. It did. It was after me and things got bloody." I explained.
"Oh no. I wish you could remember your childhood." Sam said and sat beside me on the bed.
"How does my childhood have to do with this?" I asked.
"Lots of things. Lots." Payne said as she walked away from Stella who stood beside him.
"All you need to do now is to rest." Sam said to me but its impossible. The last time that happened I couldn't sleep well until we cuddled.

"No. I can't." I said,all shaky.
"You have to. I and Payne have to be somewhere." He said.
"No. Please don't go." I hugged him.
"I'll come back as soon as I can. I promise." He assured but I'm not buying that.
"What if it comes again? What if its kills me?" I asked.
"Stella is here. I swear I'll come back." He assured again.
"No. I won't let you go. I swear,you aren't going anywhere." I hugged him tightly.
"Do you want these dreams and hallucinations to go away?" He asked.
I nodded positively.
"Then I have to go,for solutions." He said.
"Let's go together please." I begged.
"You can't. I swear you won't want to go to where I'm going." He protested.
"Please let's follow you. I'm getting scared too." Stella added.
"Don't add fuel to the fire Stella." Payne yelled.
"How to do this?" Sam stood up and walked out with Payne. I and Stella rushed and followed them.
"Can you give us some alone time?" Payne asked.
"No. I'm too scared to be alone." Zoe said. Her body was shaking.
"We need to talk about something." Sam insisted.
"No. We can't go inside now please." Zoe said. She touched me and her body temperature has increased. She was also sweating profusely.
"Fine. We'll go together. Just go change your Clothes." He said.
We all went inside then Payne and Sam removed the key and ran outside. They locked us in.
I banged the door several times but they didn't open the door. I begged and cried and yelled but there was no answer. I was shivering and scared. I prayed the creature doesn't come back again or I might die.

I and Payne went back to Moondor.
"I get a feeling Zoe is from Moondor." Payne broke the deafening silence between us.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah. Why would she be seeing Carlos? Or could she be a vampire from Carlos coven?" Payne asked.
"No. Vampires can't stay under the sun." I reminded.
"Yea." Payne laughed nervously.
"Do you even know where we are going?" I asked Payne again.
"Anywhere we could find answers. Even if its to roam around Moondor." I answered.

We went to one of the elders house. He was an old blind man and he is said to know everything. He lived on top of a mountain in Moondor. Only him dwells there. The house was a small cottage made of wood.
Payne knocked and a creepy sound was heard. All the animal have gone to sleep and the wind blew the trees.
The man came out as we were observing how the trees danced. He was in a white robe and all his hair has turned gray. His face is wrinkled and his eyes were shut. He held his walking stick firmly.

"I smell an alpha." He said.
"You smelt right." I walked in and he hit my leg with his stick.
"What's wrong with you?" I yelled and Payne tried not to laugh.
The old man moved away from the door,letting us walking in.
We sat down and he asked. "Why are you guys here?"
"We need some answers to some certain questions and I heard you are very wise so I came to confirm." I said and Payne glared at me.
"What questions?" The man tried looking for the cup that was on the table in the room but he couldn't reach. He almost reached it then I took it away. Anytime he tried to reach I made sure to take it away until he hit me on the head with his stick again.
"Ouch!" I yelled.
He took the cup and sipped whatever was in it.
"Well I'm here to ask why a vampire might be after a wolf." I said finally.
"Is a vampire after you?" The man chuckled.
"Why would a vampire be after me." I folded my arms and Payne just watched.
"Well as true legends have said,legends who have walked and toiled Moondor, Vampires are always after half born. The impure beings." The man stood and sipped the drink. It was a loud one.
"Why?" I inquired.
"I don't know. Vampires have never gotten one before so I can never know why." He answered.
"All the praises for an old blind man." I said ,hoping to annoy him.
"Well I have a book. Its an old book which have survived hundreds of years. You can find your answers there." The old man said finally giving useful information.
He stood up and used his walking stick to find his way. He came back in a jiffy and handed a dusty book over to Payne.
"I'm right here." I yelled.
Payne collected the book. "Thank you."
"You both have to return this book." He said.
"We'll return it I promise." Payne said and we both stood up to leave.
"Thank you so much sir." Payne said and we left.

I went back to my castle in Moondor and we both sat down to read the book.
A guard walked up to us. He was holding a spear and he was in black outfit.
"Master. You are back." He yelled.
"Hush!" I and Payne said.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry sir." He apologized.
"Don't let anyone know I'm around." I said and he left.
