Chapter 8

The woman eyed me before she answered. "You take that bus. Tell the driver he'll drop you at your stop." She said pointing to a long rectangular metal that seem to be stagnant as people walked in.
I rushed to where the metal was and ran in too. I passed and something made a weird noise.
"Money please?" The driver requested with a smile on his face.
I was bewildered. "Money? I didn't bring money and I'm sure the currency in my world is different from theirs." I said to myself.
"I'm sorry I don't have money." I said.
"Please get off the bus if you don't have money." The driver said in the most nicest tune a person can ever use.
"Don't worry,I'll pay." A young girl stood up and paid. It was then I noticed everyone was staring and taking pictures of me. "Thank you." I smiled at the girl. I wished I could suck her blood. She looked so fresh. When I get Zoe I and my people will come here every night to get fresh human blood. They looked fresh.
I sat down and they were all still staring.
"Did I do anything wrong?" I asked myself.
The bus has been moving for a long time so I decided to ask the girl sitting beside me.
"Please do you know Barkley street?" I asked politely.
"Yes. We are almost there." She smiled.
"Can I have your number please?" She whispered.
"Number?" I was confused at this moment.
"Yeah. Like phone number" She explained.
"I'm sorry I don't have one." I smiled and she rolled her eyes. I was getting uncomfortable.
"How about your address? Where do you live?" She asked again.
"I'm new here so I don't have a house yet." I almost yelled. If we were in Baltizar you would be dead meat." I gritted my teeth as my subconscious said.

The bus stopped and I got down. I was standing in front of a coffee shop. "Is this where he works or live?" I asked myself.
I sat down and decided to wait for him.

My master woke up from sleep. The guy walked up to us. "You guys need to get a job doing to survive." He said.
"What kind of job can we do?" I asked and Klaus glared at me.
"What is your name?" He asked.
"I'm Klaus and he is Matthew." Klaus answered.
"Well I'm Andrew and I pickpocket for a living." He grabbed a bottle of beer and opened it.
"pickpocket? As in?" I asked.
"I steal from other people." He dropped his bottle.
"Can't you do it?" He yelled and he seemed offended.
"We can." I stammered.
"Good. We head out now. You watch and do whatever I ask you to do okay? No mistakes?" He said and we all left the house.
"We didn't even brush or bath." Klaus whispered. "I'm so going to kill Sam."
We walked for a while till we got to the market. At least I know what this place is.

Andrew walked up to a woman who was carrying her baby and her bag on the other hand. He carefully removed her wallet from her bag and ran away. We followed too. The woman must have checked her bag and raised and alarm. "Thief!! He took my wallet." She yelled which startled her baby and the baby started crying.
Andrew threw the wallet to me and I caught it and hid. Andrew was caught by the people who were after him. They searched and couldn't find anything. They blamed the woman for raising a false alarm and the crowd began to disperse little by little.

I saw someone smiling and walking. "Oh God. It's Sam." I hit Matthew to see and he screamed. We tried to get to him but the crowd were too much and he got out of sight. "That's Sam. We missed him." I yelled.
"We have to come to this market everyday." I suggested and Matthew said "Yes sire."

I was discharged from the hospital and I pestered Stella to take me to the coffee shop. We got there and asked the others but he was nowhere to be found.
I got to know his name was Sam. I smiled and bit my lips when his coworkers mentioned his name.
"He went to the market. He'll soon be back." A guy answered.
"Let's wait for him please." I begged Stella.
"Suit yourself." She said and we sat. We both ordered coffee and drank.
We waited for a long time but he was nowhere to be found. A young handsome man walked up to us. "Hi. Can I join you both?" He asked.
"Sure." I and Stella echoed.
I received a text from Stella.
"He is so handsome. He is mine." I read and smiled.
"He is all yours,I'm not interested. Just be careful." I sent a text back.
"What's your name? I'm Carlos."
"I'm Stella and this is my friend Zoe." I waved at him and smiled.
He tried talking to me but I waved him off I was more interested in waiting for Sam.
Stella and Carlos kept on talking. He seems uninterested in her but it was none of my business. I caught him stealing glances at me but I waved it off.

We both left Carlos at the coffee shop. "So did you get his number?"
"No. He is new here and he doesn't have a phone or where to sleep." Stella explained. We went back to our house,took a shower and slept off.

I got back to the coffee shop after coming back from the market only to hear that someone asked of me. "Could it be my mate? She must have sensed me too that day." I told Payne.
"Thank God. We'll soon go back to Moondor. Its almost full moon." Payne sighed.

We did our daily routine in the shop,attended to customers,waited a little If she would be back then went back home with Eleanor.

Carlos kept walking to God knows where until a man in blue blazers,blue trouser and red tie approached him.
"Good evening sir. I'm from a modelling company and we are in search of a model. You fit in that category and we'd love to discuss with you in private."

" Will you pay me and give me a place to stay?" Carlos asked desperately.
"Sure. Just follow me." The man said and adjusted his tie.
They both got into a black metal and the driver drove off. They stopped at a gigantic building. it was long and it looked like it was made of glass.
Carlos looked at him and the man nodded positively.
They walked in and got into the elevator. The man pressed the 11th button and the elevator began to move up. Carlos legs began to tremble.
"What are you doing? This is scary." He yelled.
"This is just an elevator. Calm down." The man. The elevator stopped and the man came out first.
They walked to a black door and knocked. A voice ordered "Come in." They walked in and they sat down.
"Here is he sir." The man said and stood up to leave. He stopped and stretched forth his hand. "I'm Mr Jeremy." I touched his in a weird way and he left.

The man looked young. He must have inherited this company because there was a tag on his table that reads CEO. He grunted and greeted.
"I'm Dave CEO of Magic Models. I saw your pictures and videos when you were in a bus this morning. It is trending and girls seems to like you which is what I need for my company right now."
He kept talking and talking while I was busy nursing my stomach. I was very hungry and I needed something to eat.
"Can I get something to eat?" I asked him after fighting with my self. I wish I was still my vampire self. I would have chopped his neck off.
"Sure." He said and pressed a button on something plastic that has some kind of strings also.
"Get me pizza." He ordered and dropped it.

A woman in short black skirt and black blazer walked in hastily. Her heels kept making creepy sounds as she walked in. She dropped the box and left.
I opened it and began to eat not minding the taste. I just ate to fill my stomach.

He talked about a contract and I signed as far as I had a place to sleep and food to eat till I find Zoe. I have 14 days left in this body. He stood up and lead the way. The driver opened the car for us and we got into the metal. it was long and black,different from the ones I've been seeing. I guess this ones are for rich people.

The driver drove off and stooped at a house. it was gigantic like the office. The driver opened the door for us and we got out. He pointed to the place. "That's your new house. I prepared everything already."
I was flabbergasted.
"So fast?" I didn't receive a reply.
it was not as big as my castle at Baltizar but its still something.
We walked in and looked around. It has three bedroom and one guest room. The living room was very big and furnished.
"Do you like it?" He said something finally.
"Sure. I'll take it." I said.
"Get ready for shopping tomorrow." He said and was about to leave.
"Can they bring the clothes here instead?" I asked. I don't have much time and I need to find Zoe. He didn't answer. I thought I had offended him
"You've got taste. I like that." He said and left.
I heaved a sign and walked upstair. I jumped on the bed and slept off.
A voice whispered to me. "Let me out." I was startled. I stood up.
"Who's here?" I asked.
"Who's here?" I yelled.
The voice came again "Let me out you vampire."
"Oh! Its you." A smirk appeared on my face.
I walked up to the mirror and smiled.
"I'm handsome." I said and went back to the bed to sleep.
