the escape

Derrick's POV
"Where is she!" I sped around the castle and found that Mia, Michael and that bitch Sabrina were gone.
"I.. Don't... Know my... My lord." One of the servants stuttered and I snapped his neck in frustration. His body dropped to my feet and I stepped over it running my hand through my hair.
"Killing servants won't bring her back." Claire muttered and checked her nails while her brainwashed servant removed the body.
"Shut it Claire." I growled at her as Dalton dragged him away. At least I still got the demon somewhat in my clutches.
I still can't believe that this slave who let Mia go last time was the same demon throwing things at me before hand. And now he's my mindless slave.
"You here now!" I pointed to him and he came over to me. "You have a link with the prisoner where is she?"
"I don't know I haven't been able to have a link with her since you pumped her with the drugs. Why should I care anyway?" Dalton folded his arms.
I growled and clenched my fists. Claire may have brainwashed him but she could have made him more obedient.
"I don't care what it takes find her now!" I ordered and left for my room. I needed some time to figure out what had happened and I needed a release.
"Send Eve to my quarters now." I barked at a passing servant. Eve was the only one who could give me my release.
I need to find Mia and I will before its too late and she finds out what she is.
She can never know what she is.
Mia's POV (3 hours earlier)
I sat on the cold floor and I could feel the drugs starting to pass which means they will be down any moment with the next shot.
The door opened but instead of the guard with the needle it was Michael followed by the bitch Sabrina. I hadn't seen Michael in ages and he looked so different.
He was dangerously thin and I could only imagine how I looked. He came over to me and kissed me deeply. I forgot everything in that kiss. I've been craving his touch for so long that it feels alien but yet so good.
"Eh hem." Sabrina cleared her throat and folded her arms and I growled at her. "Its all very touching with this reunion crap but if you want to get out of her we need to go now."
Michael reached up and snapped my chains in half. He must have his full strength back which confused me. Surely she had been keeping up his injections. She was with them after all.
"Come on baby we are getting out of here." Michael lifted me to my feet and I fell instantly having not used my legs in months. Michael caught me before I hit the floor and picked me up bridal style.
He looked over at Sabrina. "Get us out of here." Sabrina walked over to us and put one hand on my shoulder and the other on Michael's and began to chant.
I started feeling sick and lightheaded so buried my face in Michael's chest as his grip tightened on me. The next thing I knew was we were in a place that was very bright.
It took a while for my eyes to adjust and we were standing on a very white platform looking out onto a lush garden. The hedges were 10ft high and all styled in different ways. There were fountains everywhere but what was strange to me was that there were people standing around looking at us and each person had a blue light with them.
Some had the blue light beside them, others had it on them and some even had it hovering above them. They seemed to be talking to them and there were whispers coming back.
"What is this place?" I asked as Michael carefully places me down on the marble. As soon as my bare feet touched the floor a sudden rush of energy passed through me and a bright yellow light admitted from my hands and body. "What is going on?" I asked panicking.
"Welcome to the realm of Offtrender. Birthplace of the Entities and you Mia are the rightful queen of us all." Sabrina announced and everyone stopped to look at us. They all bowed and chanted together.
"All hail the Queen of Offtrender. Defender of Entities. Redeemer for all. Destroyer of vampires."
