Dalton's POV
Mia can you hear me?
I've been trying for months to reach out to her I don't know where she could have gone.
I reluctantly opened my eyes to see the blonde devil lying on my bare chest. I want nothing more than to rip her hair out for what she's done but all my body does is hold her closer to me.
Every time I fight against her orders I end up in pain physically and mentally so now I just give in to it. I figured that if I stay I might be able to find out more on where Mia and Michael might be.
Derrick and Claire have been working none stop to find them and I am starting to wonder if she's even on earth.
Claire moves beside me and I look down at her.
"What do you want you heartless bitch." Is what I want to say but instead it comes out as, "Good morning beautiful."
"Morning baby." She smiles and bite her lip as her fingers move over my chest. It felt like fire and all I wanted to do was to hurt her but instead I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her.
I hated this and I wanted out but I couldn't fight whatever she had done to me. In the months that I have been here I found that she isn't like the other vampires.
Just as Claire was about to climb on top of me there was a knock on the door. I was relieved that I was out of her clutches but I knew who it was.
The door burst open and Derrick stood there with a scowl on his face. Behind him on the floor was his new pet and from the bruises covering her body it hadn't been a good night.
"Get up we have work to do." He marched over to us and threw the blanket off us to reveal our bodies.
Claire squealed and covered herself up as she ran to the bathroom and I rolled my eyes. "Why are you still interested in searching for my bitch of a sister anyway Derrick. You have her." I nodded towards the trembling girl on the floor as I stood up and pulled on my boxers.
I mentally slapped myself for calling Mia a bitch but I was wondering why Derrick was so obsessed with her.
"Because your bitch sister still belongs to me and I want to claim what is mine." He sneered.
"Look man we've searched everywhere if she was really still here we would have found her by now." I marched past him to my wardrobe and got out a shirt.
"Watch your tone your only still here because you are of value to me and my link to finding her." He growled.
"Yeah yeah you'll kill me if I step out of place." I mocked. "I beat you up before and I didn't even have a body at the time. I can still do it again."
Just as Derrick was about to hit me, Claire came back in.
"Hey hands off Derrick you know the rules." She glared at him.
"You should keep your pet under better control he seems to be getting his free will back."
"No he isn't if he was he'd be gone by now he's still fully under my control. I just can't stop him from hating you. Besides he has a point he can hurt you a lot more than you can hurt him."
Claire folded her arms. "Now get out of my chambers." Derrick stormed out and slammed the door and I heard his new pet cry out from another hit no doubt.
"You know you really shouldn't anger him you don't have your powers." Claire wrapped her arms around me and I involuntarily wrapped mine around her too.
"I know I don't but he doesnt know that and its fun to kick him about." I grinned and for once it was an actual grin and not a forced one.
"Yes well if he beats you up I'm not giving you back your powers. You'll only use them against me."
"I'd never use them against you I love you." I found myself saying but I knew it was just the mind control because there is no doubt that I wouldn't fry her ass if I could.
"I love you too now let's go before king arsehole comes barging in again." Claire kissed me and we left the room together to the meeting room where we have spent the last few months trying to find Mia and Michael.
"Finally what took you so long." He growled as he walked in. "I think I have a lead on where she might be."
I stopped in my tracks. Calm down its probably just another dead end like all the other leads.
"I went back to the pet store where I brought her from and after a few threats I finally got the pet owner to tell me what breeding grounds she came from. Turns out she wasn't born in the breeding grounds she was given there by the woman who came to visit us right before their escape."
I started to sweat. "And what does that mean?" I asked thankful that the mind control kept my voice steady.
"It means our little pet is no longer on earth but she has returned to where she came from which according to the breeding master is in a different realm."
How did he know all this? I didn't know we were from a different realm.
"And how did you get that information Derrick?" I folded my arms.
"Claire helped me out a great deal you see the mind control isn't just centered to making you do what we want. It can make you remember everything you forgotten and it can break every spell. The breeding master didn't even know what he was saying but I broke through to him and after I got all my information on this other realm I killed him."
"Oh yeah so where is this other realm them?" Claire asked and her eyes lit up.
"There is only one portal on earth to this place and tonight we are going to find it, crash through the realm and take what is mine back. And this time she won't ever leave."
"How can you be so sure she won't find away to escape again?" Claire asked.
"Because I'm going to kill her."
