extra precaucions

Mia's POV
Ever since the message was sent out that Michael and I were engaged the entire kingdom has felt different. Its as if someone just switched on a light. Everything seemed so busy and there was an energy in the air all the time.
Council members have been calling meetings to discuss the guest arrangements for those who are outside the kingdom. Other kings, queens, princes and princesses are coming to the wedding. This will be the first royal wedding in Offtrender in decades.
The surrounding kingdoms of Aurganheart and Voltsbar have already informed us of 200 guests traveling to come to the wedding. All the guards have been doubled and the head guard has started being nice to Michael now realising that he will be king.
Mornings are bright and busy followed by afternoons that are full of excitement. Yet I can't help but feel as if there is something wrong. Sabrina says that its just wedding jitters because its such a big event.
Right now as I sat on one of the golden benches in the hedge maze I could help but feel strange. Its as if through the buzz of excitement in the air I could feel a power electricity that brought danger with it.
The extra guards have been placed as precautions as no one knows how the guests from afar may act and they don't want to take any chances. But even with the security I don't feel completely safe.
I know there is nothing to worry about as we have been here months and nothing has gone wrong. Maybe it just doesn't feel right without Dalton.
Sabrina told me that earth time runs differently to our time. To me I've been here almost 6 months to earth its only been 2 months. Yet I don't feel as if I have lost any days and it still seems to run on a 24 hour day. Sabrina said that we are in a faster time stream to earth which is why it feels normal but we have actually only been gone a few weeks at most.
I sigh loudly and watch the sun start to set. Its been a long day of meetings and wedding planning. Michael has been off with some of the guys to plan while I've been kidnapped by Sabrina most days to look at dresses and flowers throughout the kingdom.
I've left the walls so many times now that I can tell you exactly where to go and where every street leads. All the people living there are so nice to me and some of the little girls bring me flowers while I'm walking down the streets. Banners and posters have been put up about the wedding and flags baring the royal symbol have been hung from windows and poles in bright colours of yellows, blues, purples, reds and even some colours that don't have names on earth but are beautiful even still.
Michael and I went strolling down through the town the other day hand in hand when an older looking man stepped out if a jewelry shop and shook Michael's hand laughing.
"I don't know how you did it but you did. Congratulations man." He laughed and Michael chuckled.
"He was the one who engraved your ring. He told me that I'd never be able to win the heart of the queen." Michael explained as we walked back to the palace.
I stood up from the bench and stretched. As I headed back to my room I felt something strange and stopped in my path. It was as if someone had walked over my grave. I shivered and thought nothing of it as I went back to my room.
I'd just stepped out the shower when Michael came back and collapsed on the bed. "If I have to look at another center piece or tuxedo I'm going to scream." He groaned and I giggled as I lay on the bed next to him.
"I know how you feel. Sabrina has had me looking at flowers all day and picking ribbons to tie them with and different cakes." I lay my head on his chest and ran my fingers over my ring.
"Least you get the fun stuff of picking the cake. I'm stuck on seating arrangements. I don't even know any of the guests coming." He chuckled tiredly and nuzzled my head with his.
"This wedding is going to be the best wedding in history." I said and looked up at him.
"Only because it will evolve the most beautiful queen ever in existence." He smirked.
"Or maybe it could be to do with the most handsome vampire king to have walked the earth." I smiled and kissed him deeply.
The kiss got faster and soon I was straddling him with my shirt off. I heard Michael groan and I felt his member grow beneath me. In a swift move of his vampire speed he had me pinned underneath him and we were battling for dominance with out mouths.
I let him win and he had my trousers off in a flash along with his own clothes. Our naked bodies pressed against each other.
"Michael...." I panted and looked into his deep blue eyes. "I want you to drink from me."
I saw his eyes widen. "Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes I want to be completely yours." Saying that made him close his eyes and groan again.
He attacked my mouth kissing me deeply once more and moved to my neck.
"Ready?" He breathed gently and I nodded turning my head to the side.
Without another second I felt his fangs dig into my neck and at the same time I felt him thrust inside me. I moaned in pain and pleasure which soon turned into pure ecstasy.
With each fast thrust he swallowed my blood and I felt myself bucking my hips up to his and my hand found his hair holding his head on my neck.
I started to get dizzy and Michael pulled out his fangs and continued to thrust into me until we both came loudly and insync with each other.
As we lay panting on the bed afterwards as we both slowly drifted off to sleep I heard him say three words that I will never tire of hearing.
