Chapter 115: Did You Miss Me?

ELLIE

I opened my eyes, feeling a hand slide along the side of my body. The room was almost completely dark. It must have been early morning. Ethan was pressed against my back, his large, warm body heating mine as my head rested on his arm.

“Why aren’t you sleeping?” I asked, feeling him brush his nose against my neck.

“The night’s not over yet,” he whispered, his deep, rough, and slightly groggy voice making me shiver in response.

His tone alone was enough to awaken something deep inside me.

“But I am, thanks to you,” I grumbled, feeling him rub his erection against my ass.

“Two months,” he argued, sliding his hand between my legs. “Do you really think one night is enough?”

“No,” I admitted, my heart racing and my body heating up.

I shivered as I felt his fingers reach their target. He began moving them slowly around me.

“Did you miss me?” I whispered, slowly losing my grip on reason.

“You know the answer.”

“I want you to say it.”

“What? You want me to tell you how much I missed you?” he teased, biting my earlobe.

“Yes.”

“Every single day, all day long,” he confessed, moving his hips slowly behind me and brushing his lips against my neck and ear. “When I woke up. In the shower…” He began to match the rhythm of his movements with his words. “On my way to work. At work… And especially at night.”

As his words warmed my chest, his fingers drove me insane.

“What were you thinking?” I teased, biting my lip, trying to withstand the pleasure overtaking me.

“You know… Doing exactly what I’m doing right now.”

“So… you only thought about me for sex?” I teased, struggling to stifle a moan.

“No. Just most of the time.” I felt his smile against my ear.

“Bastard,” I murmured, unable to hold back a smile.

“Do you also want to hear about all the times I touched myself thinking of you?”

“I don’t think I have that much time,” I shot back.

He grabbed my thigh in response and lifted it, slowly sliding his length over my sex, teasing me before finally pushing inside me.

“So insolent,” he growled, pulling his arm from under my head and sliding it beneath my body to grab my breast.

“Ethan,” I moaned, feeling him go deep.

“How much did you miss this?” he teased, his breath growing uneven as he withdrew and pushed back into me again.

“So much,” I admitted breathlessly.

“How many times did you fantasize about being fucked like this?”

“Oh, my God,” I gasped, the pleasure spreading deliciously through my body, making my mind spin. Each thrust left me wanting more.

But even though sex with Ethan was indescribable, I knew there was so much more between us, and I hadn’t just missed that.

No. I hadn’t just missed the delicious feeling of his firm body pressing against mine, or the touch of his lips and hands.

I hadn’t just missed the way he moved and filled me perfectly, driving me insane. And not just the way he knew my body, and how he knew exactly what to do with me.

Yes, I missed all of that, but I missed even more how he made me feel at home, safe in his arms. How I loved sleeping beside him and how he could provoke me with his words and intelligence.

I missed every little detail about him, and that’s why the feeling of being back in his arms was extraordinary.

*But the sex… The sex was like our love language as if our bodies connected and became one.*

The way he moved, sending waves of pleasure through me, making my skin heat and tingle…

*I was almost there.*

“Don’t stop,” I begged, every cell in my body pulsing.

My words urged him to move faster, sinking deeper until he reached my limit, then shifting from a slow, sensual rhythm to something wilder, making my insides throb uncontrollably with each thrust.

The mix of sensations heightened the tension, building up inside me until it became unbearable, making me explode into a thousand pieces, along with Ethan, who groaned deliciously as we both erupted together, losing ourselves in ecstasy, completely breathless.

“Oh, I really missed this,” he whispered seconds later, still catching his breath, making me smile, even though I hadn’t yet recovered my senses completely.

Then he pulled me closer.

“But I also missed that smile.  And how you can be so annoying,” he whispered in my ear. “And most of all, I missed the unique way you see the world and how you light up everything around you because you’re just so beautiful and enchanting. And I don’t want to spend another day of my life without you because I love you.”

Lifting myself up slightly, I turned on the bedside lamp and turned to face him, feeling my heart melt.

“I love you too,” I said, cupping his face and leaning in to kiss him, trying to hold back my tears.

Wrapping his arms around my waist, he pulled me over him.

When I pulled back, I was greeted by his beautiful smile. His hair was sexily messy, leaving me a little dazed. So handsome.

“Merry Christmas,” he said, smiling.

“I don’t think it’s Christmas anymore,” I said, laughing and lying on his chest, feeling safe...

*Because I was home again.*

The next morning, after we had breakfast together and discussed some details about our trip to London, I returned home, excited to start packing.

The thought of traveling with Ethan reminded me of our trip to France and all the craziness we experienced during those days. In a way, that was where it all began. It was exciting to think we were about to embark on something similar.

I was placing a suitcase on my bed when I heard someone knock on my door. Who could it be at this hour?

Dragging myself to the living room, still feeling the aftereffects of the night before, I couldn’t help but smile. Ethan had completely worn me out.

The thought made me grin. But when I opened the door, my smile vanished instantly.

It was Todd standing there.
