Chapter 67

THE PAST

The sunshine has warmth in its brilliance, reflecting a shimmer from the ends of Lissana's eyelashes, deep brown though they are. It invites her eyes to rest, so I may see the strong rays even when she appears to be sleeping. It's the sunshine that comes of the year, illuminating summer meadows and alpine slopes all the same. She wishes there was a word for the feeling it brings, for now she is calling it 'sun joy."

The bright sunshine brought us infinite hues of green, the palate of nature an abundance without frontier, each complimenting the other, more beautiful together than alone. It felt as if the light flowed, the energy within as the water in a river, kissing creation alive.

Lissana slowly wrapped herself with the sheet and walk near in the balcony window and inhaled the fresh air that nature is giving her. The mansion was beautiful together with the flowers the surrounds it. It was all beautiful whenever she turns her eyes. There was no speck of ugliness. She notices that Hades was nowhere of sight, and she guesses Hades woke up early. She felt sore between her thighs, but that was pleasure.

Under the sunshine they kissed every hue into brilliance, an art there for the seeing, for the willingness to pause and be with it at the moment. It brought every rose-hue from the bricks, every green nature given, every tone of water and fire from petals grown over eons. It made her shine too, the warmth around feeling as love within.

'Love," she breathes as the sun rays touches her skin. She remembered the night that they had shared and she confesses her love to him and they both love each other. She loves her stepfather, and she knows that is all wrong. She was a husband of her mother. And people will accuse her on her wrong doings.

'It's difficult taking a step forward when you don't know where your foot will fall," she muttered under her breath and held her hand to her chest, she can feel her heart beating, she was getting anxious at the same time. But she had nowhere to go. She had done a sin, and she loves it. She closes her eyes to ease her worry and a wind touches her face and the strands of her hair comes wave in the air.

'Who made you afraid, my love? Afraid of the future and the past? For neither exist in any place but the imagination, even memory must strengthen you. Thus fear is a kind of madness, but one that is useful if you know how it works. Fear will take you by the hand to the things you keep and guard as precious. Always face fear with courage, understand it, and then let it go. Let these fears wake you up, let them show you the way to your true self, to the brave soul whose love shines like a star. For without fear, love is brighter, stronger, deeper. When you find yourself, my love, you will be your own master, fully healed, and your last fear will be of your own strength," a voice out of nowhere whispered her ear and she instantly opened her eyes hoping it was Hades. but the voice was different. Sting of fear crawled down on her spine and took a step back. She grips the sheets to her body and her lips were now pale, she must not hallucinating things up it was a long statement and knows someone was in the room.

'Who are you show your face," she whispered and calm herself, she must now be afraid. Silence fell in the room and there was no response on her question. Is he just imaging things up? Little did she know her ring changes color from violet to white.

'Don't be afraid my love, it's me your father," a voice answered and Lissana can't help herself but to cry, she can't even describe why suddenly she is feeling in pain, her heart throbs in pain.

'Papa?" she breathes. She wanted to believe it was her father she misses her so much. And the only people in this house is her, Hades and Michael so she can't imagine Hades nor Michael was doing this for a prank.

'It's okay my child, all of this is in your fate believe and you'll come with these obstacles and in your path memories from your past will come enlighten you. I am here to guide you, I love you," a voice answered and tears were streaming in her face as if an angel was talking to her.

Lissana awoke, and sweats were on her forehead, and her eyes were teary. She had been crying from her dreams.

'It was all nothing but a dream," she said through herself and wipe her tears away using the back of her hand. The pain in her heart was still there. She had a dream of her father's voice. Her brain still could not process her dream. She talked to her father in her dream. She wrapped herself with the sheets. As she uncovers her eyes from underneath the covers, she heard the gentle tapping of raindrops against the bedroom window. Seeing the drops trickle down the window brought a sense of calmness within her.

'Oh, gosh, that dream was too real," she muttered and notice that Hades was nowhere of sight. Her dreams were like this, but now was raining. She wrapped herself with the sheets and walk through the closet, she needed to change she was still naked. As long as she wanted to take a bath to ease the sore between her thighs she decided to go down first and have herself a hot chocolate. She guesses that Hades was there in the kitchen.

'What are you dreaming about?" a deep husky voice startled her from choosing on what to wear. She looks besides the closet and found Hades looking at her, those deep eyes and those seagulls wing eyebrows of him which was making him even more irresistible gorgeous man. It was sexy.

'Hades, you startled me quit doing that please," she said and took a white long sleeve polo that cut in her mid-thigh. It was a comfortable piece of clothes for her.

'Sorry love, you were murmuring, and I was just curious," he said and walk slowly into her direction. Even though they had shared pleasures so many times, she was still not used to his presence. She had the chance to look closely at his face. He was handsome from the depth of his eyes to the gentle expressions of his voice. He was handsome from his generous opinions to the touch of his hand upon my own.

His eyes were a mesmerising deep ocean blue, flecks of silvery light performed ballets throughout. His face was powerful and defined, his features molded from granite. He had dark eye brows, which sloped downwards in a serious expression. His usual playful smile had drawn into a hard line across his face. His perfect lips ripe for the kissing. His muscular hands, slightly rough from working, held mine as he stared deep into my eyes. I couldn't help but blush. His smile etched its way back into his face.

A prominent jaw curved gracefully around and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that shaped his entire body; muscular arms, bold thighs and calves, a firm chest and abdomen. He was an Adonis among the other men who each pale in comparison. One look and both women and men swooned at the sight of him no matter their sexual preferences and one word passed from his lips had even the straightest of men flushing shades of red that no one ever knew was naturally possible.

Adonis.

Hades can't help but to pull her to his body. She was still naked at the same time and was holding clothes that she was supposed to wear. The sheets that was covering her body fell down and Hades can't help himself not to smile, a playful smile which makes Lissana blush and pulled away from his grip but Hades didn't let her. He was too strong for her, so she just let it be.

His body was warm and toned as he hugged her, comforting to the touch. His voice was deep, with a serious tone. His lips brushed her ear as he spoke.

'I really do love you."

The sunshine is warm in its brightness, reflecting a glow from the ends of Lissana's eyelashes, deep brown though they may be. It invites her eyes to rest, so that she can see bright rays even when she seems to be asleep. It's the sunlight that comes out of the year, lighting summer meadows and alpine slopes all the same. She wishes there was a word for the feeling it brings, for now she is calling it 'sun joy." Lissana spreads out her arms and wrapped around her body with white sheets, realizing that Hades was nowhere to be seen.

'He wakes up early," she muttered under her breath and slowly stands from the bed and walks near the glass window.

The mansion was beautiful and Lissana can't help but be impressed even though she had seen the complete surrounding.

The bright sunshine brought the people infinite hues of green, the palate of nature an abundance without frontier, each complimenting the other, more beautiful together than alone. It felt as if the light flowed, the energy within as the water in a river, kissing creation alive. Under the sunshine they kissed every hue into brilliance, an art there for the seeing, for the willingness to pause and be with it at the moment. It brought every rose-hue from the bricks, every green nature given, every tone of water and fire from petals grown over eons. It made me shine too, the warmth around feeling as love within.

'Love," she breathes and touches her lips. They had made love again, they kiss, and they did it again. But this time she told him she loves him, they exchange I love you's to each other and she can't help herself not to go worry.

‘Everything and everyone shows me that all will be okay, but I'm anxious. It comes as an electrical storm in my brain that, honestly, is painful. It's different from a headache and it feels the same as intense sorrow, perhaps as a frozen panic with nowhere to go. Here I am again doing this panic thing, every time I think of this relationship we have anxiety attacks on me. I am his step-daughter and he is my step-father, yet we have a forbidden relationship. This relationship we have will come to an end and I know that. I do not want us to be separated, I don't know what to do if that happens,' Lissana thought as she closes her eyes and inhaled some fresh air. The more anxious she became, the more pronounced became her intellectualize of the complete process.

'Who made you afraid, my love? Afraid of the future and the past? For neither exists in any place but the imagination, even memory must be imagined. When you find yourself, my love, you will be your own master, fully healed, and your last fear will be of your own strength," a husky, strong voice whispered and immediately Lissana opens her eyes and held her hand in her chest, there was no one in the room, only her. She roamed her eyes thinking it would just be Hades, but the voice was different. She thought of his assistant, Michael, but why would he do it? He seems that he can't do this thing. And the voice was also different from him. A voice that too familiar for her which makes

'Who are you?" she whispered in the air, obviously afraid of what was going on.

'Time takes its own time my dear, everything will come to downfall and you will enlighten so do not worry my child," a voice answered and Lissana can't help herself she held her hands in her mouth, her lips were trembling and her eyes were about to cry, is she dreaming? Is that the voice of her father?

'Papa?" she whispered and sobs softly.

'Fear is part of being human, Lissana, it's the precursor to bravery. We need it, it wakes us up to what needs to be done. So feel it, own it, let it ignite your thoughts," the voice answered.

Lissana was about to answer but her lips won't move to speak and without a second she found herself full of sweat on her forehead and realize she was sobbing in her sleep.

'A dream," she breathes and slowly takes a seat near at the headboard and leaned. She looked outside and realize it was raining again. It was definitively a dream. She heard the gentle tapping of raindrops against the bedroom window. She gets up and rub her knuckles into her eyes. The between of her legs were still sore because of the night that they had shared. She still not getting used of being in his arms, every time that their eyes meets, she feels intimidated by him. She loves him. She had a lot of apprehension in her skin, but as what she had dreamed she must not be afraid.

She wrapped herself with the sheets and walk near the closet to find clothes for her to wear. She wears a white long sleeve polo, for it seems comfortable for her to wear it.

'This is comfy," she looks at herself in the mirror and gasp in surprise as someone speaks behind the closet.

'Hades, you frightened me," she said and a playful smile crossed in his lips.

'Sorry dear but I was just enjoying seeing you being naked and dressing yourself with my clothes it suits you better," he stated and there was sparkling in lust in his eyes, those eyes that Lissana can't resist.

'Hades," she rolled her eyes and act as if it didn't affect her his appearance but his scent was not helping either.

'Pack your things as long as it is necessary for you to have with, we will go somewhere," he said and put a small kiss on her forehead which makes her go blush.

'W-where are we going," she hated herself for stammering.

'It's a surprise now go," he chuckled and spank her ass which makes Lissana gasp in surprise and now she was all red.

‘Each raindrop is a kaleidoscope, if we could only see more closely. I wonder as I walk how it would be to stop time, to suspend this watery gift and peek through each one. Perhaps it would be fun to sit inside those raindrops and take that gravity propelled ride to the earth. As I imagine it I feel my inner self laughing - a little at the crazy daydream and a little at my silliness. I see the rain beads upon the cars, upon each leaf and washing my outstretched fingers. Soon they will pull together, forming the puddles, opening up a whole new avenue of rain-related fun. Perhaps it isn't normal to love a rainy day so much, but who cares about normal, anyway? I'm pretty sure 'normal" is a made-up thing,' the angel of death though as she glances up at the sky. She was now outside of the building where she would meet her soul to collect. She prefers being a lovely woman and besides, angels like her don't have sexes.

'I am nothing more than a visionary with a dream. I don't care what you think of me as long as you obey. I acknowledge that I have odd methods, but they work. I know what life should be like, and I understand that many things and creatures are inferior to me. In my position it is mercy. I know if I don't save them with the wonders of death. They will die in the horror of life. But I enjoy giving people contracts, it makes my life comfortable even though I am an angel of death," she muttered under her breath and now her person is in front of her.

'Tell me what do you desire? Money and wealth? Honor and pride? Authority and power? Or I might think revenge or something transcends all of these, huh? We can talk about that," she slyly smiles, but the man in front of her shows no emotions at all.

'Oh, come on Michael talk to me, I don't waste my time here for nothing, you're the one who needs me and not me," she gritted her teeth, she doesn't use of being like this but she must hold her temper, anger is bad.

'I'm sorry, but would you mind telling me your name?" he said, and she just smiled.

'We don't have names, I am an angel but still I am an angel of death, I was a devil somehow. Devils are the one who deliver this contracts and we don't have names. But you could call me Seven, that's would be nice," she smiled answering him.

'So may I know now what you want?" she added a little impatiently.

'I will have all of that when he is dead. I want you to kill someone for me," Michael said making her gasp, but she was expecting this words to come out from his mouth.

'Once upon the shade in totality, I found it to be inclined to warmth now more than its outer coldness. Surprised but, nonetheless appreciative. The beating had reached its crescendo now. The viscous blood that must have been thickly wrapping itself around the many capillaries beneath me, providing the strange warmth. Perhaps mine own blood escaping my grazed knees may intermingle with it. And right now a man approach me and I am offering such a contract and he is wishing such a damn thing to do. Do you know what I am?" she breathes as if she was inhaling such an intoxicating scent.

'Yes dear, you are the angel of death."

'Those who cannot remember past are condemned to repeat it."

'I remember my past clearly Seven but in this era I want to feel them all. If he reigned the past era, I will reign the future. It is human to feel the light and the dark. It is human to have a full range of emotions - a full 'tool kit." All those feelings are normal and useful depending on the situations we find ourselves in. We evolved to have them all, we just have to know when it is appropriate to use them and what to do with unwanted feelings of anger or negativity. For the most part we just need to run it out - sometimes literally. We evolved to move, to get physically tired almost daily. There isn't anything wrong with being human and there's a whole lot that's right about it. We get to choose who we are, to choose to be the angels of our better natures and build our own person hood," he said and lit a cigarette and smoke came out of his mouth making Seven smile in a mischievous way.

'Better angels huh you guess I am not that kind of an angel?" she said and look at the glass window the rain wont stop pouring hard.

'You are that is why you are here," he stated looking through her eyes, those piercing eyes cut deep through her. She had not seen a human like him before but what can she expect she was talking to a person with a past life and remembers all of it. I wonder why the deities didn't even erase his memory for good or maybe someone restored it, an angel, deity or the god or everything of this was the will of him.

'Maybe you are wondering why I have got these memories until now and maybe you forgot that I can hear your thoughts my sweet dear," he said and she can't help but to look surprised. How on earth he had those abilities of hearing thoughts, did the deities give this to him? Only immortals or the gods who licensed such a thing.

'Oh so you can read what I think, what if I think of ripping your suit and gripping your pants and giving you please in ecstasy can you read that?" she stated grinning.

'Don't think about it dear it would be an honor if I will demonstrate it for you, having pleasure and sharing moans with an angel is such an honor for me," he smiled with dark eyes looking through her.

'What a silly client I have here, so enough of the naughty thoughts I am here for a business that will take me into a higher class if however you got this signed with your name and I will come to collect your soul once your wish is given."

'Are you in a bit hurry my dear?"

'Not really I am just not used to this gender and I want to rest," she sighed and massage her temple dramatically.

'Oh angels don't have precise sexes, we can talk tomorrow and I'll tell you my answer is that okay with you my angel?" he said and stands. Handing his hand and waiting for her to take it.

'It was nice doing business with you Helios."
