KNIGHT

"I have been here calling your name and you were there out of space looking at the stars and the moon. I was calling you and then maybe you got out of your internal thoughts and then you heard me."



She looked surprise as soon as she saw me standing here.



"Sorry, is there anything that you like? Do someone like you also eat and drink?" she asked which I found from her tone of voice that she was serious and she has no time of blabbering or what.



"Yes, we do. We also live like you. We eat, drink and go to wherever we wishes. The only difference is that we really don't get starve so fast, we don't really need sleep but I do sleep it keeps me to think straight every day and I needed that," I answered which from her reaction she looked surprised.



She just nodded for maybe she doesn't know what to respond. She took two glasses and pour some milk on it. I found her like she looks fragile. In every moves that she makes were like a fragile glass doll that would makes you insist of doing it instead of her. She gets a cookie which I know where she had bought it for those were my favorite thing to snack it makes me occupied. And from the looks of it I bet this is her favorite too. Wait, why am I so clingy in noting every little things she does and every little things that she likes? I took a cookie and immediately munch it. I don't like this feeling of staying put into her actions. I don't like this.



"Where did you buy this cookie?" I asked even though from the start I knew where she had bought it. I just want to occupy the atmosphere between us.





"Purple Glass Bakeshop just across the street," she answered and I again took a munch of cookies. My, this thing is heaven and hell.





I nodded still munching and drinks some milk I feel like a Santa executive by what I am eating but what Santa's food is greatly amazing. I envy him. . "I am going to visit that bakeshop and order all of this bake cookies."





"Hey, you don't have to do that. You can buy some but not all of it. There are many people out there like me who is also watching for that cookies huh, so let's share," she said which earned me an internal laugh my, my, my this young lady in front of me is so damn cute that I want to pinch her cheeks and all of her.



Wait, what?





"Do I look like I care?" I said and tossed the milk and covered my mouth to burp.



It earned me a smile when I suddenly heard her thoughts. As much as she wanted to smack or slap me at this right moment she is preventing herself from doing it. She knows I am a devil though.



"Two hours left and your birthday is here," I said which makes her look at the clock. It's her birthday and I am going to spend my time to her since she is just alone. This is just my charity reason and nothing else. She needs company that is all and nothing else.



I know she hated birthdays especially hers because it reminds her the year of being a miserable one. But I think there has been a reason for that. Gods are very into detailed of every subject they have and they take care of the subject's destiny for a reason I am sure that her fate is in good hands too.



"You don't have to hate so much your life kitten. You don't know much of the life you are standing right now. Yes, maybe I don't know you background and maybe your life. What you have struggled in your daily life but let me tell you this, be grateful of all the things in your life," I said and she was dumbfounded maybe forgetting that I can hear her voice inside her mind and the hatred inside her heart.





"I know what you are thinking right now and also me right now is regretting just what I have told you. But seeing you hating yourself so much is an eyesore. I was once an angel and guiding people in the right path. Following all the rules and I was the most known angel above there but one day I was neglected and even today I can't seem to remember the reason why. All I know by then that I was a devil and here I am now in front of you offering a contract of your soul that I despise back then," I chuckled and averted my eyes from her. I don't care if she believes or not in every words that I say but that is what is it is.



"I know you are doubting me regarding from what I have said, And I am not forcing you to believe in me. It is all up to you and I am just sharing." What I wanted her to take is that she don't have to hate all I know I maybe don't know what she had been through but it was a waste of time and a waste of energy if you keep putting yourself from neglecting, anger, hatred and words if you keep taking it into your soul. We all have a time. A time for loss and a time for success but all of those have enough reason and all of those are unique because that is yours. Only you have that kind of reason why so you better take it and start again. Go make a good one so that in the end you will have what you have planted. I know I am now a devil but I was once an angel.



A fallen angel.



"Do you feel emotions?" she asked and waited for my reply.





"Yes, devils do but as an angel we don't have. It was funny but it was true and I don't even know why. I may know the description on how and why's but I really want to know the root of it. I want to know why not only because of the words it said in the book but I want to know why. Do you know what I mean?"







"Yes, I know what you felt," She whispered and let my eyes bewildered into hers.
