Chapter 109 Who pissed off Miss Smith?

After being bombarded with questions by the reporters, Annie came to her senses and glared at Nora with an extremely angry look.
It was all Nora's fault!
It was Nora who forcibly poured that glass of red wine down her throat and made her a fool in front of so many people.
"Nora, you bitch! You made me do it!" Annie roared, while angrily getting up and giving Nora a hard slap.
But before Annie could touch Nora, a large hand grabbed her fiercely and pushed her down hard to the ground.
Annie looked up and saw Bruce.
Bruce made no attempt to disguise the disgust in his azure blue eyes, "Annie, you disappoint me by doing such a thing! Why are you sleeping with this man... Do you have any sense of shame?"
In the face of Bruce's accusation, Annie was in a panic.
How could it have become like this? Even Bruce had come over and seen her with that yellow-haired guy...
"No, Bruce, please let me explain. I don't even know him." Annie said in a hurry.
"Honey, how can you say that you don't know me?" The yellow-haired man was not pleased when he heard that. He slowly got up from the sofa, "Don't you love me like crazy? You have said you would marry me."
The yellow-haired man had received money to state categorically in public that he was an old flame of the woman inside the restroom.
He did not know Nora, so he thought Annie was the woman.
At the moment, the yellow-haired man performed with great vigor. He reached out and wrapped his arms around Annie, "Honey, don't be shy. We are both adults and it is normal for us to have sex. There is nothing to be ashamed of."
"I don't know you. Let go of me!" Annie cried out and pushed the yellow-haired man away.
"Nora! It's Nora! She set me up! Annie crawled to her feet and pointed at Nora as she said, "It was Nora who drugged me! I don't even know this man!"
Drugged?
The reporters in the room sharply captured the word.
It didn't seem to be that simple.
But no one dared to ask questions in the presence of Bruce and Asher.
Brittany kind of understood it.
Annie must have accidentally shown the horse's foot and was discovered by Nora. As a result, Nora had given Annie the wine that had been drugged, which caused the current situation.
Annie was such a useless woman! She had screwed up even a small thing!
"Nora, you bitch! You did this to me!" Annie tried to hit Nora like a madwoman.
Bruce stepped in front of Nora quickly and asked, "Annie, why would Nora hurt you? Aren't you here to apologize to Nora tonight?"
Annie averted her eyes, "Yes, I apologized to Nora with good intentions, but she set me up!"
"Annie, enough!" Nora sneered, "Do you know what it means by sowing the wind and reaping the whirlwind?"
Annie had already had her punishment and Nora had had no intention of saying anything further.
Now that Annie refused to repent and even shifted the blame onto Nora for drugging her, Nora was not going to be kind to her.
Nora continued in a cold voice, "You pretended to apologize to me, but you have put the drug inside the red wine, trying to scheme me. Unfortunately, you ended up harming yourself."
"You are lying! I didn't!" Annie shouted out of control.
She was going to deny the truth and assert emphatically that Nora had drugged her.
"Look at this yourself! This is the record of you buying aphrodisiac online." Nora threw the evidence directly into Annie's face.
After giving Annie that glass of red wine, Nora asked Anthony to check Annie's purchase record, and sure enough, she found it.
When the reporters saw Annie's online purchase record, they couldn't help but despise it.
"It was really Annie! What a surprise!"
"That's despicable! Fortunately, Miss Smith didn't fall for it!"
Facing the comments of the crowd, Annie was blue in the face. She opened her mouth to say something, but she couldn't say a word.
"Annie, what happened today was entirely the consequences of your own doing." After saying these words, Nora turned around and left.
She did not want to stay a second longer on this occasion.
Asher followed her quickly, "Nora, where are you going?"
"Home." Nora said lightly.
After a night of drama, she was a bit tired.
"I'll go with you." Asher spoke in a deep voice.
"Why are you leaving with me?" Nora smiled coldly and said with sarcasm in her tone, "Aren't you going to dance with Brittany?"
Dance with Brittany?
Asher smiled faintly and said in a low and deep voice, "Nora, you're jealous."
"Who's jealous?" Nora glared at Asher angrily.
Right at this moment, the elevator arrived.
A huge force came around her waist and Nora was pulled into the elevator by Asher.
"What are you doing?" Nora took a step back and looked at the man in front of her somewhat warily.
Asher stepped with his long legs, approached Nora, and raised his eyebrows as he said, "Nora, you are just jealous."
"Jealous? Mr. Hawn, don't be so self-absorbed." Nora rubbed her temples and looked away from him.
"Why do you refuse to face up to your feelings?" Asher braced his hands on the wall of the elevator, keeping Nora between his arms.
The space in the elevator was so small that Nora was encircled by Asher completely.
The atmosphere at this moment was slightly awkward.
With a ding, the elevator arrived on the first floor and broke the ice.
The elevator door opened automatically when Nora hurriedly pushed Asher away, "I don't know what you're talking about."
After walking out of the elevator, Nora turned around and said to Asher, "You can go home on your own. I have something else to do."
"What else do you have to do at this late hour?" Asher narrowed his eyes slightly.
Nora laughed and said in a cold voice, "You don't have to worry about that. Don't follow me."
After saying that, Nora walked to the front door and hailed a cab.
Watching as the cab drove away, Asher's eyes dimmed a bit.
Where else would this woman go now that it was already late?
Nora sat in the cab, her mood inexplicably irritable. She took out her phone and sent a text message to Nana.
[Come to the bar and have a drink with me.]
Marilyn Bar.
When Nora arrived, Nana was already there waiting for her.
"Here!" Nana waved her hand to Nora.
Nora sat down next to Nana and said to the bartender, "Cocktail please."
Nana handed Nora the glass and looked at her with a smile, "Nora, what's wrong with you? Are you in a bad mood?"
"Nothing." Nora drank the drink off.
The dim light of the bar shone on Nora's face. Her fair skin and delicate features appeared in the dim light, with some more melancholy mystery.
Nana poured another glass of cocktail for Nora, "Let me guess who pissed off Miss Smith. Was it Asher?"
