Chapter 120 The problem lies in Factory One

It was getting late at night.
Nora was packing up in her room when she suddenly heard a cough.
She looked up and saw Asher standing at the door of her room.
He was leaning against the door frame in a white night-robe. He looked less indifferent and aloof than before and was more leisurely and amiable.
Nora was stunned for a moment by Asher like this.
Seeing Nora's eyes fall on him, Asher smiled softly, "How do I look?"
"Asher, when did you come over?" Nora returned to her senses and cleared her throat somewhat awkwardly.
Asher straightened his slender and upright body and stepped towards Nora, "Have you finished packing up?"
"Yes." Nora nodded her head.
There was not much to be packed but just some daily necessities.
"Get up early tomorrow." Asher said.
Nora put all the bags into her suitcase and said, "Okay."
Just then, Asher's cell phone rang.
He took it out and saw that it was Jones, the head of the French branch factory, calling.
Asher picked up the phone, "Jones, what is it?"
"Mr. Hawn, we found out that the defective jewelry was all manufactured at Factory One." Jones's voice came through the current.
Asher asked with a stern look on his face, "So, the problem lies with Factory One?"
Jones nodded, "Yes, I've already had someone check every aspect of Factory One and we should have the results tomorrow."
"Good." Asher said in a deep voice.
After Asher hung up the phone, Nora asked, "Did you get a lead on the French branch?"
"Yes." Asher's eyes narrowed slightly and his voice was deep and cold as he said, "There should be a problem at Factory One."
"Since the scope has been narrowed down to Factory One, it should be easy to investigate." Nora pondered and spoke.
"Not necessarily." Asher's eyes were deep, " Whoever could play dirty in the Hawn Group can't possibly be regular people."
"You're right." Nora nodded approvingly.
Indeed, the things that happened recently were somehow bizarre, as if there was an invisible pair of hands manipulating everything.
Furthermore, now that the enemy was in the dark, the situation was still quite unfavorable for the Hawn Group.
"Anyway, we'll talk about it tomorrow when we get to France." Seeing Nora frowning, Asher reached out and patted her on the shoulder, his eyes soft, "Go to bed early."
"Good night!" Nora smiled.
She tossed and turned all night.
The next morning, Nora woke up, washed up hurriedly, and just walked to the stairs when she heard a doorbell.
Who would come over this early in the morning?
Asher opened the door, only to see Madge and Ashley appearing outside the door.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Asher frowned.
"What, are we not welcomed?" Madge, dressed in an orange cheongsam and well-kept, said with cold eyes.
Without waiting for Asher to reply, Madge walked straight to the living room and sat down on the sofa, followed by Ashley.
"Asher, did you let my words in at one ear and out the other?" Madge looked at Asher with great dissatisfaction, "You don't even take the joint letter from the board of directors seriously at all?"
The joint letter?
Nora had just walked downstairs when she heard Madge's extremely dissatisfied words and was curious.
Asher looked calm, "I'm already dealing with this matter."
"You are? How are you going to deal with it? We asked you to fire Nora, but why don't you fire her?" Madge raised her voice a bit, "Are you happy if the Hawn Group breaks down?"
Nora laughed. The so-called joint letter was to fire her?
It was inexplicable.
Asher's face was cold as he looked down at his wrist, "This has nothing to do with Nora. I have to go to France soon and I'm in a hurry. Mom, you can go back if you have nothing else to say."
Madge had a sullen face as she was once again rejected. When she looked up and saw Nora coming down the stairs with her luggage, she asked in a cold voice at once, "She's going to France with you?"
"Yes." Nora walked up to Asher with her luggage, put it down on the floor, and reached out to hold Asher's arm, "I'm going with Asher, can't I?"
Looking at the stinging scene, Ashley bit her lip and said, "Asher, I'll go with you."
"Don't be ridiculous!" Asher refused without a second thought.
"Asher, I'm not being ridiculous." Ashley said eagerly, "I want to do my part for the Hawn Group as well."
Madge agreed, "Ashley's right. She could help out if you let her go along."
Help?
Ashley probably had ulterior motives!
Thinking about what Ashley had done to Asher the night Asher had gotten drunk, Nora smiled mockingly and said, "I'm afraid she might be more of a hindrance than a help. What could Ashley do?"
"Nora, what do you mean?!" Ashley's face was gloomy and she was about to say something when Asher's cold voice cut her off.
"Okay, stop messing around." Asher got a little impatient and reached out to push Ashley away, "Ashley, you only need to focus on your studies now. The Hawn Group has nothing for you to worry about."
Ashley was full of resentment. She took a deep breath and retorted, "Why can't I go when Nora can?"
"It's grandpa's decision that Nora go. Are you going to ask grandpa why you can't go?" Asher didn't want to argue with them any further, so he brought up Howard.
Ashley bit her lip and looked at Madge with a pitiful look, "Auntie..."
Madge suddenly stood up and looked at Asher indignantly, "Fine, since this is your grandfather's intention, I won't say anything more. But there is one thing you have to remember, if the Hawn Group continues to suffer because of Nora, I will definitely not let her get away with it!"
"Okay, mom, hurry up and take Ashley home." Asher's face was expressionless as he asked them to leave.
Madge left with Ashley in a huff.
Ashley agitated, "Auntie, you see, Asher doesn't respect you anymore. He was not like this before. It's all Nora's fault! I wonder what that hillbilly has done to Asher and made him lose his mind. If Asher really marries her in the future, what position will we have in the Hawn family!
Madge covered her chest and gave a cold snort, "Ashley, don't worry, I will never let Asher marry that woman!"
Watching Madge and Ashley left indignantly, Nora felt uncomfortable in her heart for no reason.
She had worked so hard for the Hawn Group for the past month, but Madge had submitted a joint letter to the board of directors to fire her.
How meaningless.
Nora looked at Asher with cold eyes and said calmly, "Don't worry, I'll leave in two months, so your mother won't bother you anymore."
