I stared at her for a while before I left, I was a bit worried about what I'll expect when I reach the meeting room, knowing full well Jake doesn't usually pave his in my residence unaware, much worse even sounding scared.

We would need more hands on this.
“I'll like you to show me the men, that were victims to his assault” I said, before they all stood up, heading to the open field, that when my eyes darted to their lifeless bodies, I noticed it was one of my loyal Wolf, he has always been there.
I bend down, before a tear managed to cascade down my cheeks, my heart churned in pain, I felt so hurt, knowing full well, this is something is not done about it, many other lives will be lost.

When I got Inside I noticed my mate was still sitting on the bed. A towel was hung on her waist, I managed a smile, but a sad one.
After sometime, I tried to get ready, for the burial preparation, I took a mouthful of air, trying as much to keep expression, Only to noticed that there were some set tears, on her face.

“No, I think you need to go to your father's house or your friend's house, before things get calm because your safety is my priority” I said to her before hugging her like my life depended on that hug, like that will be the last time I'll get the opportunity to be that close to her again.

When we were inside, I should have introduced the pack members to their new Luna, but things that happened today, is something that have made the whole ordeal even more messed up, I ruffled my hair, when I noticed how everyone was looking at me and Diana.

“Diana… Diana” I shouted, but there was no reply, immediately I Felt panic swept through me like a gust of wind, I wish I shouldn't have sent her all alone Inside the house.

“Hmm, yes I'm here” I heard her voice resounded from the bedroom, I immediately rushed Inside the bedroom, only to noticed that Diana was held by a man in dark cloak, and a dagger was hung around her neck.
“Plea… please don't kill her, please don't do it” I pleaded like my life depended on it, which it did because if Diana is not here with me, then there will be no use of leaving, I'll feel like my life has no meaning.
“Tell me… just tell me, what did I need to do, to make you let go of her” I asked, he didn't fail to noticed the smirk behind his mask, I don't know what else to say because the whole Alpha like me has been left so vulnerable, I just hope everything will end up well.
