I found Myself feeling scared, I couldn't hold back the tears anymore, I just wanted to be out of there, I took mouthfuls of air, I'm so terrified.
But I don't want anything to happen to Raph because he was trying to save me," please just let me go, I'll cherish every moment we spent together, but don't bother yourself” I said to him, to at least stop him from thinking irrationally, I know what his capable of, he can go to any limits, just to see that I'm okay, he started shaking his head violently.
I know how he hates to show his vulnerabilities, but he was already staining his cheeks with hot tears.
I closed my eyes, expecting the man in front of me to slit my throat, at any given second, but he didn't, rather he burst out hysterical laughter.
Before he unveiled his face, when Raph noticed who it was, he was truly shocked, even from his expression.
“Why the fuck will you do that to my mate?” he asked, and the man closer to me.
" Because I want you to be emotionally prepared” he said solemnly, before he let go of me and sat on the table.
" So how will you explain about the dead of my pack members?” Raph asked in evident anger.
But silence followed," I said how the fuck will you explain about the dead of my pack members” he barked, this time hitting the table with great force?
" Oh man, chill… Chill okay, they are perfectly doing okay, just that I had to inject them with some…”
" Alpha, all the pack Dead members are awake "I Heard the voice of Jake resounded, I noticed he immediately took a deep breath of relief, trying as much to steady his breath, he then stared at the man right in front of him.
" I'll never want you to play such tricks with me, ever again because I won't take it likely with you" he said evidently enraged, the man who had actually engulfed me a moment ago, was now staring at me, looking Intently at me, with his silver eyes, his thin lips immediately curved to a smile.
" Your mate is not that bad” he commented, still with a smirk on his face.
" Keep your filthy eyes off my woman, or else…”
" Chill… chill, I'm just commenting, there is nothing wrong with that” he said before he stood up and stared at me.
" If you don't mind, our Luna, I'll want you to…. give us some time together, where I'll talk to your mate properly" he said, despite the fact, I don't like this man right in front of me, I had no choice but to leave the room, for two of them.
When I was out of the room, I then decided to go and meet some of the pack members, even though I was contemplating whether I should do so or not, but I still managed to take my heavy body outside the house, that's when I noticed a young girl, she had nothing to eat, her clothes was very shabby, her puffy cheeks shown clearly how cute and adorable she is, especially with her gray eyes, I just can't help but admire her flawless blonde hair.
I found myself taking graceful strides towards her, before I stretch my hands towards her.
“Come we got to talk” I said sweetly, but she started shaking her head violently, almost like she hated the thought of going with me, I then stretched my hand a little farther, before I bend down to look at her.
“Where are you from, little one?” I asked, she kept quiet for a while before she said.
“I'm from Black Knight pack” she said timidly.
“Come with me little one, so we can talk properly” I said to her, she then hesitantly stretch her hand, before she came close to me, I felt her soft hand, I just can't deny the connection I was having with her.
She has the face, that just wants me to be close with her.
" Pardon me Luna, but this child her, has done a lot of offenses here in this pack, she is yet to serve her punishment "Jake interrupted.
I turned my gaze at him, with an evident frown on my face, I just don't like the way, this poor child has been treated, there is a better way to do this, why must they have to result this little child to this harsh condition?
“What has she done?” I asked, patiently waiting for a response.
" She has stolen a lot of our war crafts, "he said.
“Please give me some time let me talk to her, you don't even bother to ask why she did it, you just decided to act on the poor kid” I said, trying as much to keep a calm expression.
That's when I noticed that, he was having that contemplative look, but he eventually agreed, I found myself taking the little girl to the house, where I have come to called it a home because since I was born, I never Felt at home, not until I met Raph, and I'm even planning to leave this place because this is the happiness I have always craved and wanted.
I then took her to the bathroom, before I asked her to enter the bathtub, she started shaking her head violently, I was shocked with her actions.
" Why don't you want to get in?” I asked very concerned, I don't know how more to persuade her to make her take her bathe, I then bend down to my knee level before I stared at her. Before I managed to ask.
“Is anything the problem?” I asked, she shook her head abruptly, making me nod my head.
" Then for me, please take your bathe, everything will be okay” I said to her, she shook her head again.
“You will hate me, the moment I do so, I know you will” she said, I shook my head again.
" No I won't little girl, I will rather love you even more”
“really!” she exclaimed, I immediately nod my head, she then entered the bathtub, that's when I noticed her legs were glowing, her eyes were glistening, as scales became evident, her beautiful legs turned to a fishtail, it was a beautiful Golden fishtail.
I was overwhelmed when I saw this, I just couldn't take my eyes off her.
“I knew you will hate me, that's what everyone did” she said sadly, I immediately hugged her, making her wriggle her tail.
“No…no I don't hate you, you look even more beautiful, than ever” I commented, trying as much to keep a Calm expression, I then started washing the dirt from her body before I gestured her to come outside, which she did, when she was standing, the fishtail immediately disappeared, I took a deep breath because I was already feeling overwhelmed.
“You are the first person who accepted me the way I am” she said gently, making me plaster a smile on my face," because someone did the same, he accepted me I am” I smiled to myself before I took steady strides towards the kitchen.
“Will you join me in the kitchen?” I asked her, she immediately nodded, she was acting so adorable, I just can't help to admire her even more, especially with her innocent features.
When we were in the kitchen, the curiosity, to know what happened to her, got the better of me, I then stared at her before I managed to ask her.
" Hey little one” I started.
"Yes" she pouted her lips, only to noticed she was eating the plants that were meant for cooking, u just immediately knew that the little girl was hungry, I took a mouthful of air, trying as much to keep steady breaths, before I hugged her, I don't know why, but there is that intense connection with her, that I just can't deny.
" Why are you scared that everyone who saw your fishtail with be scared of you?” I asked gently, she started shedding tears, I immediately regretted for asking her that question, I can't help but want to cuddle her even more.
“I'm a monster, everyone has always known me to be a monster, even mum, dad, everyone "she stated clearly exasperated, I felt her pain, I just wish I could do anything in my power to subside the pain, I hate to see people in so much pain.
" I'm sorry, you are not a monster, you are actually born special okay” I tried to console her, she immediately stopped crying before she stared at me, with her adorable looking eyes.
" You think so?” she asked adorably," gosh…can anything be more adorable” I muttered inwardly, before I nod my head, so she could understand that everything will be okay, she stared at me, before she embraced me.
