it shocked me to know that, I have been searching for Emily, but she was right in front of me, but in a critical state, I Inhaled the strong stench of blood, that filled the Air, I checked in between her thighs, and I noticed she was bleeding probably profusely, what I saw, really break my spirit, she was still clutching to her stomach, and Lucius was close to her, I couldn't stop myself anymore, I ran to her, but before I reach her location, I felt excruciating pain, I let out a howl of pain.
when I noticed my arm was bleeding, from the severe pain I was feeling, it was clear enough that the bullet which was shot at me, was a silver bullet and the it covered in wolvesbane, I took a mouthful of air, trying as much to keep a calm expression, when I noticed the man in front of me.
it was no other but Raph, he was holding the gun, I had the raw urge to destroy him at that moment, I felt so betrayed, this is someone I had full trust , someone I have came to love and understand, In wondered why he could have done such.
"Emily.. Emily" I called out gently, my woman was barely trying to keep her eyes open, her feet on the still, it made me wonder how she was managing to get a hold on herself, it was evident enough that she can't keep feet still any longer, but she managed to look at me.
"please.... try to be alright, I'll safe you will all I have got"
"oh...my my, I'm waiting to see how you will do that, when the bullet inside of you, is embedded with wolvesbane, I wonder how you will survive this pain in less than 3hours" Lucius said sarcastically, the man I has always reconsidered as my Omega, I wanted to destroy him at that very moment, it brought cold shivers down my spine, when I noticed my woman was clutching her stomach even further, I then rushed towards her, before I held her, I don't care about the pain I was feeling, but looking at my woman in so much pain, was making my wolf growled.
" I'm sorry Rowland, I have failed you, I didn't continue to try to live for you and our unborn child, I think I'm going to meet my biological mother " she said, while trailing down some set of tears, it made my heart churned in pain, as I held so firmly unto her.
after sometime, I noticed her body became stiff, immediately my wolf growled, I was not minding about the immense pain I was feeling, I just wanted to kill and destroy, the only word that my wolf kept on repeating was 'kill'
I let her lifeless body, on the ground, before I found myself, heading towards Lucius, I know how it felt, to feel this immense pain of loosing the one, you called your soulmate , someone whom you have always wanted to spend the rest of your life with.
I clutched his neck, allowing him to feel the immense pain, that comes with strangling him, he was choking but I don't care, I'll now reveal the monster in me, because I want to destroy any mother fucker that dared come my way to destroy my family..
I heard a bullet was shot, And I was expecting pain, but I didn't feel that, only to hear Emily let out a cry, it means she has managed to stand up, in other to safe me from receiving the pain, it hurts as hell, it'll have been better if I was the one who received the pain, when I stared at her lifeless body, I let Lucius go, I noticed a gun which was held by Richard this time, I had the raw urge to fight him, but I know that If I do such, there won't be much time to save my woman.
so I let out a howl of pain, before I managed to go close to her, I Inhaled her scent, was was mixed with morning roses and lemon, the strong stench of blood, filled the Air, I didn't have time to think, because I know this was not the plan, the plan was to safe my woman, and we escape so we can finalize the real plan on how to destroy Lord Richard.
I allowed the pain to take it reigns, before I allowed myself to feel the pains, that comes with my bones cracking, u couldn't hold the pain any longer, but I just wanted to safe my woman at all cost, before I could fully transformed, despite it was taking alot from to fully transformed because of the pain, I don't mind, Because I wanted to safe my woman.
i managed to fully transformed, before I took her, using my mouth, I then placed her on my back, I don't know how it happened, before I disappeared into the thin air, I found myself in a cozy room, with some simple utensils And some clothes that was hung on the wood.
then I noticed an old woman who walked in, she plastered a smile when she noticed me, I Inhaled her scent, it clearly shows that she was a witch, And even from her white hair, it shows that she has been trying to keep a calm expression, I couldn't hold back, anymore before I took steady strides towards her, I found myself keeping Emily close to her, Almost like I had this trust she will help my mate.
I turned around, before I managed to transform back to my normal self, I took a towel that was hung on the wood, before I neatly hung it around my waist.
she was looking at me so intently, waiting for me to do the expected.
" please help my woman, she's dieing, she doesn't have much time to leave, please help her" I begged, she plastered a smile before she said.
" I know about that, you need to be treated, I was expecting you for a while now, I don't know what took you so long " she said, her Words made me furrowed my brows in confusion, I couldn't bring myself to say a word, as I tried as much as possible to keep calm, I noticed a man who seemed to be in his fifties, he walked towards Emily.
the woman who has been here, had her silver hair, tied in a ponytail, before she stared at Emily with so much emotions.
she then managed to voice out her pains, by saying, "my baby...my baby " it was evident enough she was having a nightmare.
"Iliad, please come and attend to the alpha " the woman said.
"please may I know your name, so I'll be able to know how I'll repay the favour you have done to me" I said, she plastered a smile on her face before I she said.
"my name is Irene " she said, before she stared at the man besides him, "and he is Jace" she said, I nod my head.
I noticed Emily was struggling in pain, I immediately held firmly to her, forgetting the fact that I was Also in pain, it hurts to know that I have been trying all I could to see everything goes well, I took a deep breath, before I managed to hold her hand like my life depended on it, I noticed the Irene took a mixture of some some content, before she placed it on Emily's mouth, allowing her to sip the content, she struggled hoping against hope that everything will be alright, then she started saying some words that are unfamiliar to my hearing.
I then noticed how Emily was struggling, I tried to hold her still, hoping that everything will eventually go well, after sometime, she became still, which managed to bring a smile to my face, she was looking so tired and disheveled, I can feel her heart was beating, before her heartbeat was erratic, but now it was calm, which managed to make me calm down as well, I can't help but feel like I was about to lose her a while ago, thankfully she is now okey.
"let me treat your wounds" a man in his mid thirties said, I gave him a very scrutinizing gaze, before I allowed him to do so.
" Raph needs your help" Irene voice out, I felt so much rage, even from the Mere mentioned of that name, I took a deep breath, trying as much to keep a calm expression, it hurts to know that all I have done, was to see I became a good friend to Raph, but he betrayed that friendship.
" you have to let go...." she said, which brought cold shivers down my spine, especially the way she was looking at me.
she brought her hand closer to mine, before she allowed to see what really transpired, I was shocked when everything was unveiled to me, before I immediately stood to up to leave.
